So before I head out, I decided that I wanted to do a tea time video.
So I'm going to do a video on this plant right here.
I know maybe you can't identify it because it's dry.
Yes.
It's called shame old lady, or some people call it shima, shima
maca, shy plant, but scientifically it is known as mimosa pudica.
All right.
So one interesting fact about this is its mechanism, right?
The way it behaves.
So when I was a child, I was so fascinated by this, you know, my
parents had it around the backyard and sometimes I would just go around
there and just touch this plant and just watch, watch its leaves just
close right up, you know, and there's a way for it to open up back
and then just touch it again.
And I was, I found it like very, very interesting.
All right.
So thing is that this plant right here, it has a wholly, a lot of health
benefits, so in all them time, them never really know the benefits of it.
So now that I know it, I'm going to do a video and share the benefits
with you and show you how I make my mimosa pudica or shame old lady
or shy plant, whatever name you know it as, I'm going to make the
for you guys and discuss all the benefits.
Remember to subscribe.

Let me know if you've drank this tea before.
I can know any additional benefits, which I may not mention.
All right, guys.
And also turn your post notification bell on so that you'll be notified
whenever I post a new video, let's get right into it.
So the water is being boiled guys.
So what I'm doing now is that I'm going to use a few of the
leaves to, to make the tea.
So I'm not going to use everything, right?
I'm not going to use everything, just a few of the leaves.
So just picking them all to add to the water.
So I'll be using one cup of water.
Um, to make the tea guys with these leaves right here.
So I can hear the water boiling up now.
So I'm just going to wash these now and then add it to the water.
There are several health benefits that you can gain from drinking mimosa pudica.
However, I'll be focusing on the benefits you can gain from drinking
it as a tea made from the leaves.
Mimosa pudica also known as sensitive plant, shame old lady, shy plant,
touch me not, et cetera.
It's kind of like an entire natural pharmacy in a single plant.
This fern like plant has a long history.
It grows wild in Jamaica and other tropical regions.
It is packed with wondrous health benefits.

The shame old lady plant is said to be useful for the control of
excessive bleeding during menstruation.
It has properties to balance out the hormones in the
body and thus bring relief.
Number two, joint pain.
The consumption of this plant also helps to cure joint
pain caused by arthritis.
Number three, anti-inflammatory.
The plant is said to contain anti-inflammatory properties that
can cure the inflammation in joints and thereby relieve pain.

A tea made from the leaves is also great to regulate the

according to some health experts.
Diarrhea, jaundice, stomach ache, and intestinal worms are
some of the other ailments the plant is said to be effective in treating.
It has also been used to cure toothaches and swelling of the gum.
Precautions.
It should not be consumed by pregnant and lactating women.
If taken in high quantities, it can prove fatal.
Avoid using it if you suffer from constipation or hypomania.
All right.
No mediocre crew.
So our mimosa pudica tea is ready to be served.
All right.
So as for the first cup, I'm not quite sure how to describe it,
but you know, it's tolerable.
So now I'm going to add a teaspoon of honey, not mandatory that you do,
but that's how I'm going to sweeten my tea guys.
So I have some honey right here.
So I'm just going to add a teaspoon.
