Goal Of The Tournament_🤯🚀 _ All The Action From Matchday 23 _ FIFA World Cup 2026

Assure is there as well and it's set up for him and that might have been on target in Assure for sure Egypt have taken the lead the initial strike actually from Assure was decent found his way through got blocked by Jackson Irvine now everybody switches off everybody's focused on the ball and you can just see right in there Herrington dropping back in playing lovely ball delivered but you've still got to put in you've got to focus concentrate and make sure you make that good contact which he does perfectly O'Neill to take Soutar and others are the target and there is the goal Harry Soutar makes his presence felt it is a set piece that unhinges Egypt and that is the goldest for the green and gold and these have always been a worry for Egypt it's just about can we get the right delivery and they do whether that comes off Harry Soutar or a defender I'm not quite sure it might be Hannes jumping in there the number three it's his head it's his own goal it is indeed quality of the delivery putting the defender into a terrible spot and exactly that Martin you get that delivery right it gives everyone a problem this stage is set for Harry Soutar a massive man has put it massively wide here he goes but the penalty was too good for him and Egypt league 1-0 strong personality needs a strong kick here and it's a smooth kick Sakharovs are on the board in the shootout this is the penalty they've got in hand so to speak both scored two and Australia have only scored one of the opening four spot kicks and he does the job won the battle of the eyes there yeah well done well done the Egyptian king as he came from the spot but if you can't kick it cheeky smile a cheeky penalty and he'll look back on this moment either fondly or not Egypt are very close Abdel Maguid for a place in the round of 16 for Egypt that's how you do it that's how you win it plenty of kings of Egypt today especially the penalty takers in a real battle against the Sakharovs the shootout has done the job it's the long road it's the hard road but it has taken them to where they wanted to get to they stay in the world cup and Australia bow out against strong strong opposition it's for the Messi who takes it down in an instant this times cup goal number 20 dispatched in an instant but what about the pass here Martin is he's just on the shoulder of Borges and you know what he does he takes a magnificent touch and then a split second watch that touch is brilliant he waits a split second and then just lifts it over the goalkeeper you think he's going to put it down the goalkeeper's bottom right hand side and he just lifts it over him genius at work that's all that is Marrera Riyan Mendes slams in an equalizer against the world champions well does it get through the defender's legs i think it has to i think it's the only way he can score from that angle he runs in behind the kicks off a wonderful possession on by McAllister Lissandro Martinez and the Manchester United man may just have spared Argentine blushes that's a brilliant finish he gets too much time in the back course of course he does Lopez Cabral will try one oh my goodness my goodness Sidney Lopez Cabral with one of the I've actually never seen I can't remember seeing so many stunned faces around us wasn't that beautiful oh look at that he uses he uses a defender Lionel Messi oh great header corner this time Argentina in front third time it comes off the hand doesn't it comes off the hand of the defender I'm not sure it's getting in if it doesn't let's have a look at it he gets up well Romero that there's no doubt that's not the angle but it hit Borja's hand and I think it deflects it in relief more than anything else for Scaloni by the looks of it well done by Suarez and Suarez post first 15 is the South Americans strike first in this knockout clash and John Arias the man in the right place as Colombia crafted this one nicely and it's one substitute playing a role here his tenaciousness to not give up to get the ball on the box and it's the other substitute completely falls asleep the right back Sadie who's just come on completely falls asleep doesn't track his runner Sadie who gets caught with a striker he has to go you can see that he challenges for it John Arias completely free at the far post a simple tapping for him but a massive goal for his country
