I just want to say he's been my friend for a long time now and
we've always had a great relationship and it's great to be with you. Thank you very much.
As America gets ready to celebrate our 250th birthday, we look forward to doing it with our
partners in India. India is the world's largest democracy and we are the world's oldest, so we
look forward to celebrating together. America, you taught me to aim higher. You are a true meritocracy.
You're the place where rockets get built, where empires start in garages, where the impossible
becomes the everyday. You've inspired the world with your spirit of innovation, artistic expression
and beliefs that anything is possible. You have always inspired us to reach for the stars. You
have compelled us to rise way beyond our conditioning. You have inspired the world
through the stories of athletes who broke barriers and platforms like YouTube and Instagram bringing
the world together. From the Wright brothers' first flight to landing on the moon, you have inspired
thousands to imagine the impossible and explore. You have helped me dream big, really big. I have
been truly inspired by some great Americans. From John McEnroe to Michael Jordan, Pat Metheny,
The United States of America has been not just a nation but a focal point, an idea, a destination.
It's probably the most progressive and the busiest place in the world. Every mile I have traveled
across your cities has felt like a scene from a masterpiece. You have always inspired the world
to be brave, dream big and be curious. In your 250 years of reaching, striving and refusing to quit,
I found the language for my own journey. India and the United States are united in
the democratic spirit and also because of the increasingly close bonds between our peoples.
A shining city on a hill as we celebrate 250 years, America's best days are ahead of us.
Happy birthday. Happy birthday, America. Happy birthday, America. Happy birthday,
America. Happy birthday, America. Happy birthday, America. Happy birthday to the U.S.
Congratulations on 250 years. Wishing you the very best. Peace and love.
