ABANDONED A&W / TJ’s Drive In - Talmadge, Ohio

Hey guys, I'm in Talmadge, Ohio at the Abandoned A&W. This place looks very cool. They left a lot behind. Let's go walk around and see what we can find. So this is available. What do you guys think of these prices? $4.59 for, I mean it's probably, it probably tasted better than McDonald's and the prices are, I don't know, McDonald's is probably higher these days. Fruit beer, drinks, sides, fries, cheese curds, onion rings, mini corndogs, mushrooms, chili cheese fries, TJ burger. This is like making me hungry. This is making me hungry looking at it. What a cool looking place. It's listed as an A&W but I, what's this like? I don't know. Yeah, it was listed as A&W on Yelp but it says TJ's. I don't know. Did that say Talmadge, Ohio? Yeah. Oh, it was called TJ's so like they must have, um, TJ's driving must have taken over the A&W. I wonder if their milkshake machine was down like McDonald's's all the time. I mean why would they leave the stuff up like that? Like what the heck? What the heck are those shirts? Look how classic that looks. This could be taken over. Oh, that's all they had for air conditioning? What are, awesome little, let's see, wow. I think I hear an alarm. Oh, outside restrooms. Oh, somebody bashed it up. Guys don't bash up restrooms. There's a little outside, it's called TJ's. It's locked. Oh, so you could, I guess, I wonder if they came to take your order out here too or no? No. I think you would have driven up, looked at the menu, got your order taken there and then moved. I don't, I really don't know. I don't know that I've, I've been to a Swenson's. I don't know that I've been to any other kind of drive-thrus. So, TJ's drive-in. Drive up. I keep saying drive-thru but this is a nice little building. So, this place closed as TJ's in 2022. As A&W, it was earlier obviously but yeah, I was a little confused until I did a little bit more research. Here's the ladies room. Here's an employee room that's not opening. Women. Looks just perfectly fine in there. Look at that. A safety cup. It's a safety cup. Oh my goodness. How cool is this? Look at that. Oh, look at that sign. That is awesome. The neon hot dogs. They even still have straws and stuff in there. Electro-free. Wow. Goodyear. Akron is famous for that. Look, no whining. Somebody could come in and take this right on over and it's kind of shocking why this is abandoned. This is like a nice little spot. I mean, Talmadge is a nice town. This is like a nice place to have this. I think, were these only seasonal though? They might have been seasonal. Very cool. I don't think I've, you know what? I don't think I've ever filmed a drive-in place. I've never filmed like a Sonic or an A&W or anything like that. So this is a first. Yes. All right.
