AI GeneratedThis video provides highlights from a professional golf tournament, showcasing impressive birdies, eagles, and world-class shots from various players. It features a mix of on-course action and a post-round interview with Jayden Schaeper, who discusses his momentum, his familiarity with the course, and the impact of recent weather conditions on play.
It's got to be a little seven because we've seen five and six sides in here.
That's a hybrid shape. Oh well it doesn't matter what you use does it if it goes in.
Oh how close was that. I just wonder whether he's maybe just past that little knuckle so
probably not a whole heap in this for a great finish.
Let's jump over to four. Greenside Marcel's seam.
For his first birdie of the day. Will it come here at three? Sure will. He's in the red.
Good pitch in here to 16. Excellent run. Played the back nine first. 31 it was. This is at 17 the par
three. There's a ridge in the way but he took it over it and how about that. A moment of magic.
And this is the par three second. So back nine first and it continues as it started.
Another birdie for Schaeper tearing it apart. Marco's got a good chance up a little bit of a
ridge here. Yeah right in the middle wasn't it. Had the line just a little bit more pace.
Not surprised for Schaeper's score. And the marks just moved further ahead
of the rest there with that final birdie from Jayden Schaeper.
And this was pure at two. Yeah right hand flag taking it on. Chucking darts at it.
Let's jump over to two. The 28 year old from Oklahoma Brad Dahlke. You might know him from
social media from YouTube. Good player in his own right. This is an eagle putt for Schneider.
What a second shot. Oh brilliant. Now that gets his day started. Brad Dahlke at 10.
Anthony said hopefully it's not on the downslope. Looks like it's almost run on the upslope which
would probably help him a little. That's a lovely shot. Get back down to the eighth.
The fourth tee tucked in behind this one. That's where we find Andy Sullivan here at the par three.
182 yards today and that is 181 and a half. Spectacular. Brad Dahlke judged it from the
right edge. What has Neyman got for us? Can he find it? He can. Nice four. And once again very
impressive. He's a world-class player. We've got a gust of wind when he hit it.
Inside left and into the hole. Nice stroke. Gets the birdie. Yeah, beautiful. Absolutely eight percent.
Carlos Ortiz. Long range effort here at 13. You're down the hill. Little ridge in front of him.
Now he's tracking. Oh yes, beautiful. Over to Caneco at 12. A strong lean of the shaft with
putter grip pressed against the left forearm and it works. Very solid. 106. Contact was
brilliant. It sounded lovely and he is lovely. Golf shot. This for birdie. For the flying fin
as Anthony calls him. Soaring high at the moment. Oliver Lindell. There we go. 27 cuts made in a row.
Call it what? Two and a half feet here at the par five.
Uphill right to left. And talk about flat courses. Swartkop in Pretoria, South Africa. Owned by
Dale Hayes. That's about as flat as they get. And yesterday was Dale's 74th birthday. So happy
birthday to Dale. A nice par for Schmidt. Yeah, just stop it now. Stop it. Stop it. Happy birthday,
Dale. But stop it. That should never be a par. He's got to put five on the card. He's not allowed
to put four on. A stunning vehicle on the line here with Michael Hollick on the tee. It is the
brand new BMW X5 M60E. Was released this week. I'll tell you what. My goodness me. Just a lovely
angle. Water really isn't in play. Oh, magnificent Dan Brown. Caneco at 15. And that one drops in
That left hand sits so beautifully on the on the putter grip, doesn't it? Just pushes to the target.
Well, the aim line shown right to left, which it is just a little. That's great. That's great.
Now that's a lovely but timely birdie as well. Driver out here at 16 for Joaquin Neyman.
It's short par four. Well, it's nice to see someone going for it this afternoon.
Three under par. He could have been forgiven for not. Oh, straight in the middle of the green.
It's world class that. No doubt about it. That's the way he thinks. He thinks world class and he
is world class. Big move here. Do it. Oh, that is superb. What a stylish way to finish for Sully.
Well, I hope he doesn't miss this, because it's a brilliant tee shot. Find in the green.
It's a bit of right to left in this just a bit. Yeah, well done. Excellent.
He really did deserve the birdie. Back to back birdie should this drop for Caneco, which it does.
Almost like he looks like from behind. He's getting into his stance and then the feet will
widen, but. Brad Dahlke. Good to see him playing some nice golf today, but just limping home a
little. This would help. Oh my goodness, mate. What a bonus. Might be three in a row. Caneco
with the birdies in his pocket from 15 and 16. End over end and in. That's a five under par.
From the fringe, Brown for one more. There's never anything else, was it, but a birdie four. I mean
the tee shot cluttered into the oak tree on the corner, could have gone in the lake, didn't.
Made a great putt at 15 for par. He made another great putt at 17 for par as well.
Made 20 birdies on the weekend in Catalunya and his maiden victory as well.
Took a bit of a hop on it, but it went in anyway.
Yeah, I mean just got off to a nice solid start. Made a nice little, I'd probably say like
an 8-10 footer on the first hole for par. And yeah, just kind of
played the next hole straight forward. Made a nice little birdie and had two really cool chip-ins on
the front on my front side, which I mean from those positions normally you're just trying to
make a up and down, trying to chip inside like six, seven feet, you're pretty good at that.
But yeah, that chipped him in and kind of, yeah, just a nice moment in the round and kind of just
kept the momentum from there. I think the last two years you've missed the cut here. I think.
I think, yeah, definitely last year. I'm not too sure about the previous year, but yeah.
I was going to ask though, what's changed this year? Is it just because you're a different
golfer this year? A better golfer? I think just coming into the event,
I know the course, I'm comfortable with it. I've been here a couple years now and
yeah, I mean it's just, I love the area, love the city, so it's always a week that I enjoy coming to.
We've had a lot of rain here on Monday and yesterday as well. You were here yesterday.
Describe the conditions out there on the course. Yeah, I mean we got into the prime yesterday,
we're playing after one o'clock. I mean, had a good time out there with the guys I was playing
with, but yeah, it was just a completely different golf course from the Monday. I mean, yeah, it was
just so wet, greens were soft, but yeah, we're still impressed that we got out yesterday after
the amount of rain that we had. Bunkers were a bit different, but yeah, I mean the golf course
was kind of soft and today, just kind of greens rolling good. They were a bit soft, so I mean,
you could kind of attack most of the pins and you could, if you did miss in a couple of the
wrong areas, you can kind of land it soft, but yeah, course was pretty good overall.
Brilliant start, Jayden, to the week. Good luck tomorrow.
Awesome, sweet. Thank you. Thanks.
