We have with us now Kevin Stitt, who of course is the governor of the great state of Oklahoma,
live with us tonight as America 250 continues on and rumbles away here in our nation's capital.
Governor, awesome shirt. Hello, nice to see you. Your thoughts?
Man, I'm just sitting here. I love what he just said. The general said that it just sounds like
freedom when you see those, hear those jets overhead and couldn't agree more. Oklahoma's
fired up for the 4th of July, our country's 250th birthday. And I'll tell you what, from Oklahoma,
we're super excited and everybody's going to get ready to have a great time tonight and
pop off some bunch of fireworks. You've got a big military presence there.
Tell me about it and sort of how it's how today is viewed through that lens.
Absolutely. Yeah, we have five military bases. Tinker Air Force Base is the right here in
Oklahoma City and 30,000 employees. And we keep all of the Air Force flying around the world.
It's the largest maintenance and repair facility in the country. And so we're so proud of that.
All these planes that you're seeing flying, they come in and do their maintenance here in
Oklahoma City. And then we also have Vance Air Force Base. We have Altus Air Force Base
that we train and we train and fix our tankers that support our warfighters around the world.
So we're all into all into supporting our military in the great state of Oklahoma.
Happy 4th of July, America. It's pretty exciting. I mean, I'm just fired up. The mall last week,
I was in D.C. and saw the Oklahoma booth. So it's just amazing seeing all the states celebrating
together. By the way, the general's daughter at one of the Air Force bases, he tells me there
in your home state. Hey, I got to run real quick for some news, Governor, but let me ask you real
quick. That shirt, how'd you pick it? And how many more like him do you have? Hey, you know,
I was looking through my closet like, what am I going to wear today? And this is a shirt from a
Warriors Foundation in Oklahoma City that we support. We support our military in the great
state of Oklahoma. So I thought nothing more patriotic than this one. All right. Kevin Stitt,
sounds like you're fired up there in Oklahoma tonight. We appreciate it. He's the governor
out there in Oklahoma. Happy 4th. Thanks for popping on with us tonight. Appreciate it.
Thank you.
