This news segment covers three distinct topics: a logistical dispute regarding Prince Harry's accommodation at Buckingham Palace, a promotional feature for the gold-backed financial app Tally Money, and a report on a dangerous encounter between a Russian military aircraft and the HMS Prince of Wales in the Norwegian Sea.
Now breaking news, Prince Harry, the invitation Prince Harry to stay at Buckingham Palace has
been withdrawn. He's coming to Britain today. After much speculation, Duke of Sussex spokesperson
confirmed the offer, as Andrew says, has been withdrawn at the last moment. Let's get more
from our Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker. Well, a bit of a mess is how I'm going to describe
this morning. Both of you, good morning to you. Yes, so Prince Harry, his spokesperson basically
told us and a number of other outlets that he had accepted an offer to stay in a building behind me
in Buckingham Palace while he's in London. He's due to arrive today. But then subsequently, we were
told by the Palace that actually what had happened was he had formally denied it. He'd formally
withdrawn the request for accommodation on Saturday morning. He basically declined the
offer of accommodation, I should say, on Saturday morning, but then subsequently accepted it a few
hours later, by which time the Palace said it's too late logistically to organise the right level
of staffing and hospitality and all the other logistics that need to take place in order to
have Prince Harry stay inside Buckingham Palace. The other point they made is, of course, Prince
Harry has a case against the Daily Mail, which is due to conclude, or the results are due to be
published on Tuesday, which puts the King in a compromising constitutional position as monarch.
Then I understand that Prince Harry is still expecting to stay in Buckingham Palace. So the
question this morning, both of you, is where is Prince Harry staying? Because he thinks it's in
the Palace. The Palace says no. Fascinating. It's always a cycle of drama, isn't it, with Prince
Harry. It can never be straightforward. He's got plenty of mates. Some very nice hotels in London,
Prince Harry, actually. I think you can probably run to a few of those. I think you're probably
right. A number of books, copies he sold of that book. Absolutely. Cameron, thank you very much.
I'm joined now by the founder and CEO of Tally Money, Cameron Parry. So what is Tally Money and
what does it do? So you get an everyday account in your individual name. You get an account number
and sort code. But instead of having an account denominated in pound sterling with your bank,
you have milligrams of gold, which we brand as Tally. The reason why we chose gold,
everybody understands gold. It's universally understood and accepted. It's been increasing
at over 11% on average for the last 25 years against the pound. In the last two years,
it's up 60% against the pound. So if you had 10,000 pounds in a Tally account two years ago,
it's now got 16,000 pounds worth of value. The gold hasn't changed, but the value and your
purchasing power has. And so banks can't keep up with that performance. How easy is it to get a
Tally Money account then? If you're a UK resident, it's really easy. Just go to your app store,
download the app. You'll need photo ID. You can onboard yourself in a couple of minutes.
Just your passport, your driving license. Yep. And you're up and away. So you know what you're
It's transparent. There's no hidden fees. There's no effect spreads depending on the
amount you put in. And you just get to go ahead and be productive in your daily life. Build up
your savings again because it's useful to do it now. I was going to say, so you're not,
you don't necessarily, people are watching this going, oh, it sounds a bit scary.
You can open a Tally Money account, transfer, is there a minimum amount you have to transfer?
So you might think, I'm just going to play with this. I'm going to put 100 quid in it
that I've got this month, and I'm either going to spend it and see if I feel like I'm getting
more value for money from the things I'm buying, or I'm going to save it and watch how that compares
to maybe 100 quid in your current account. To find out more and to get an exclusive GB News

Welcome back. It's almost 10 to 10. Where's the morning gone?
Aye, that's the football. It's all the excitement over the football.
Well, we've got some breaking news for you. One of the UK's aircraft carriers, HMS Prince of Wales,
has been repeatedly buzzed by a Russian military aircraft while on patrol in the Norwegian Sea.
Home security editor Mark White has delays on this breaking news. This is pretty significant.
Yeah, the Ministry of Defence in the UK is saying that this was
unnecessary, dangerous and unprofessional activity that this Russian aircraft,
a Bear F maritime patrol aircraft, had carried out. We can show you an image, actually,
of the interception. Now, this happened over the Norwegian Sea just a few days ago on the 2nd of
July. You can see that maritime aircraft, propeller-driven aircraft, with the F-35 combat
aircraft that were on board HMS Prince of Wales, one of our two giant aircraft carriers. It is
actually working now on behalf of NATO in the High North. So this is the area. You remember all
of the fallout because of the concerns that the Americans had, that Donald Trump had about
Iceland and his threat to effectively take over Iceland that prompted Europeans to do much more
in terms of upping their effort to patrol that area of the High North, which is becoming
increasingly more contested because the seas around that area, due to the rise in global
temperatures, has been melting. It's making that sort of passage through the northern latitudes
more accessible and as a consequence of that, we've then got these incidents that are taking
place between militaries. So this is really dramatic images. You can see how close, of course,
the F-35 is to this Russian bear, but what the Ministry of Defence has said is that this aircraft
flew repeatedly low in front of and over the aircraft carrier, dropping sonobuoys very near
the aircraft carrier as it did. Clearly, if they'd struck the aircraft carrier, they could have
damaged the aircraft carrier, there's no doubt about that, but it is dangerous and professional.
It's the kind of thing that could lead to a miscalculation, lead to some kind of accident
because you've got aircraft carriers, aircraft and accompanying now, of course, combat jets
from HMS Prince of Wales, all in that small airspace buzzing this aircraft carrier repeatedly.
Why are they dropping sonobuoys so close to a major British aircraft carrier? What's the point of it?
This is the point that the MODC, it's very unprofessional for the Russians to be doing that.
Now, we have our own fleet of maritime patrol aircraft, the P-8 Poseidon aircraft, we've got
nine of them. This is, by the way, the HMS Prince of Wales that you're seeing at the moment. One of
our giant aircraft carriers, about 75,000 tonnes, huge, comparable, not quite as big as the Americans
but, you know, close to as big as the American supercarriers. It's on patrol, it's got 12 F-35s
and accompanying helicopters on board at the moment as it patrols that area for NATO in the
high north. As I was saying, our maritime patrol aircraft do drop sonobuoys as well, looking for
the likes of submarines, but the Ministry of Defence would point out that they would never do
that so close to any kind of shipping that could potentially danger them. Because if you're dropping
these, I mean, they're hefty bits of kit, you know, they're probably bigger than a couple of car
batteries and you drop them from your aircraft at height and if it was to collide with a ship it
could cause serious damage to the flight deck, the control tower, whatever it might come into
contact with aircraft on the flight deck, so clearly very, very concerning. But Mark, the Ministry
of Defence haven't yet said whether or not they believe that that was actually the intention.
Well, what the intention was, was by the Russians obviously, because demonstrably that's what we saw
was it was buzzing the aircraft carrier at very low altitude and far too close to the aircraft
carrier to be responsible and safe and that's what the MOD are pointing out and highlighting
by giving us this breaking news story this morning. Mark White, thank you for that. We'll have more on
that I'm sure. We want to talk to you later in the programme about the Chagos side because it seems
that absurd deal is back on under Burnham. Well, yes it could be, but if it does you can imagine
what that's going to mean in terms of the relationship with Donald Trump because he
has made it very clear he is anti the Chagos deal. We'll be back to you.
