The best part about being a photographer and a dad is seeing the world through a lens of wonder
and then bringing that magic home. I'm Nathan Lee Allen and today we're using the Canon EOS R6 Mark
III and three RF lenses to shoot the coastal beauty around me that will eventually become
printed gifts for my family. The coastline is my studio. The RF 16-28mm f2.8 IS STM lens
helps me capture the vastness of the Pacific Ocean. Now I can create those big vibrant prints
that make you feel like you're here. The f2.8 aperture helps you get more background blur and
better low light performance. I'm swapping to the Canon RF 28-70mm f2.8 IS STM lens.
It's my lens for everyday versatility and allows me to capture wide and closer up views.
I'm using the RF 45mm f1.2 STM lens to get an intimate look at the foreground textures while
capturing the depth of the tree tunnel, creating that approachable magical feel that's perfect for
dramatic campus print. To bring the coast home I print with the Canon PIXMA Pro 200S.
Seeing the textures and tones rendered perfectly is how I turn a day of photography into a finished
product. A day like today is worth remembering so I'm giving my son a print of his favorite animal
which I captured and printed today. With my three RF lenses the EOS R6 Mark III and the PIXMA Pro 200S
I'm taking this amazing place home with me with one seamless Canon workflow.
