The speaker documents a series of productive gardening sessions focused on planting a diverse range of vegetables and flowers. The process involves strategic bed preparation, the use of recycled fertilizers, and active pest and disease management. Throughout the tasks, the speaker balances the demands of the garden with heat management and personal health considerations.
Good morning. We are picking up right where we left off yesterday. I said I was going to come
back out here in the afternoon or evening after I made dinner. We went in I think it was like 3 30.
I started dinner after I rinsed off and kind of got cleaned up at four and I was exhausted.
So I did not come out after. I've got a coffee here, I've got a water, I've got gloves and we're
to head out into the garden. But before I do that I want to get this planter watered because we
planted the seed in here. Oh that's off. Now once these sprout I will be watering from the top here
but because I planted seed I want those seeds to stay nice and hydrated throughout the germination
process. Especially because it's going to be so warm today. It's another I think it did get to 80
degrees yesterday. I think it's supposed to be about that hot today and then it's supposed to
rain. So we're just going to pick up where we left off and just keep checking things off the list. I
have so many things we need to get this whole garden planted. We made a lot of progress yesterday
and we're going to make a lot of progress today. You know what I just remembered we're going to be
planting the tomatoes and peppers today. I'm going to grab something. I was going to plant something with
them. I normally plant an egg with my tomatoes but I don't have enough eggs and I didn't go to the
store to buy eggs today to do that. So what I was thinking I would do instead is I would put a little
bit of my recycled food waste in the bottom. This has eggshells, all sorts of kitchen scraps, banana
peels and everything. I used to put a banana peel with each tomato plant so I'm just going to put a
little scoop of this in each one of the tomato holes and we'll see how well this works. The
dogs want to come out with me today. I've been trying to decide if I want to do garden cleanup
first or start planting because I could really do either or. Oh my goodness there's like five or six
honeybees. I wonder, I think honeybees eat the fertilizer in soil. I think that's what they're
doing right here. I think what I want to do is actually start planting first so I think that's
what we're going to do. I'm loving using these cups. These are my bee cups I bought last spring
for a dinner party and I only pulled them out twice and I thought because I didn't want to
break them. I was like what's the point of them sitting in the cupboard if I'm not going to use
them? So I'm going to start using them and hopefully I don't break them. They're pretty
thick glass but in my family I'm the one that usually breaks dishes. So let's just get planting.
I've already done the heavy lifting here of thinking where I want to put these tomatoes
so I'm going to get these planted first and we'll just work our way down this arch and what we're
going to do today is we're just going to start checking things off the list. This seems like
the easiest thing for me to start with so that's what we're going to get going with.
I did not bring a shovel down here. I think I'm going to start at this end. I gotta go get a
little shovel but I think we are going to harvest our first full bouquet. I've harvested some flowers
throughout the garden this year already but I think I have enough to actually do a full bouquet.
I could have with my ranunculus and anemones but I just enjoyed having them in the garden so I
didn't pick any of them but I think we're going to pick some flowers today which will be fun.
Would it have been better for me to plant these plants last night when it was super cool outside?
Yes. Am I still going to do it right now even though ideally this is not the best time of day
when it's super sunny to do it? Yes. But we're just working with the time we have. It's better
that I get it done than not get it done even if it isn't the most ideal conditions. There's probably
a lesson in life there somewhere right? I don't know. This morning I had a dentist appointment
to get my teeth cleaned at 7 30 and I was going to pick up a couple, there's a weed right here I
just picked, I was going to pick up a couple things to plant and I totally forgot. All I was thinking
was getting home and getting a cup of coffee. The soil feels beautiful. Josh has had the irrigation
on for about a week and it feels fantastic. I'm going to put a handful of that mix in there.
This is a cherry tomato. I thought it'd be fun on this end of this trellis to have a cherry tomato.
Kind of like easy snacking right when you enter the garden or pretty close to when you enter the
garden. And look at that, our first tomato of 2026 garden is in the ground. The way I labeled my plant
last year is I just put that there. Maybe I'll label it different later but for now that's going
to work. This tomato is a pineapple tomato. I'm not going to have enough of this for every plant
I don't think but we'll get some in there. That was a plant from last year. I do take a couple of
these bottom leaves off. Look how beautiful those roots look. Let's see did I even dig this deep
Second tomato of the year planted and my favorite tomato. That is the perfect heirloom sandwich
tomato right there. Now I've got seven more to go. I have been putting nine tomato plants along this
one 16 foot bed and they have been very prolific so I'm just going to go ahead and keep doing that.
This is another pineapple tomato. I think next year I want to move all my trellises around in
the garden. I've had this trellis here since the first year and I think I want to really switch
things up. If I didn't have a baby in January of this last year I would have most definitely
done it this year but it'll just have to wait till next year when I have a little bit more time
to think about how I want to rearrange this garden. So that will be a fun project for next year.
I have one flavoretta, one, two, three, four pineapple or maybe five pineapple. Yep five
pineapple. Those make a very very nice tomato for canning as diced tomatoes. They hold their
shape really well and they get huge and they're the perfect sandwich tomato. Two Dr. Witches
and one more flavoretta. So we're going to have cherry tomatoes on each end which will be a lot
of fun. I could probably put my phone in the shade so it doesn't overheat. So now in this bed I'm
going to plant a couple more kale plants. I think I originally had seven in here and only one, two,
three survived. I think slugs ate them so I've got a couple more I'm going to plant.
I can see here I'm actually going to do a little weeding. These are tomato plants
that self-seeded themselves from last year. I'm just going to clean up this bed just a bit while
I'm here and now I'm going to reseed these kale, or not reseed, replant these kale plants.
It's probably actually roly-polies that ate my kale plant. I'm going to put some sluggo around
them this time. These are onions in here. I really like kale salads and I really have been
enjoying kale in soups and I also love feeding kale to my chickens. It's probably one of their
favorites. This bed is almost done being planted out. I think for fun we're going to put a zucchini
plant at the end here to kind of grow out this way or I should say it's going to be a yellow
straightneck. I never struggled with these roly-polies at my last garden but this garden
they are my nemesis. Okay so this is a yellow straightneck squash. I'm going to put sluggo
around these and on the other end I'm going to put a zucchini. So this bed is going to be really
magical with lots of different fun veggies in it. These type of beds always end up being my favorite
and I like to plant my zucchini plants towards the edge of the bed so that it can grow out
of the bed so it doesn't take up space in the bed so I can put more things inside the bed.
And then I'm going to tidy up this bed by kind of cutting back some of these anemones. I need
to get my wheelbarrow because I'm going to be cleaning up a lot of stuff today and have a lot
garden waste. I'm not cutting them all the way back just kind of tidying up the bed a little bit.
And just like that we've got one bed completely planted out. There's carrots in here, onions, kale,
anemones, tomatoes, and it looks absolutely fantastic. So I'm going to go ahead and quickly
do that exact same thing that I just did right here along this edge with these tomatoes. I have
mortgage lifter, mortgage lifter, mortgage lifter, mortgage lifter. Those are a huge tomato. Dr.
Witchy, Dr. Witchy, German Johnson, which is a new variety and I have three of those. We officially
have 18 tomato plants now planted and I think what I want to do next, well I want to show you
something that I found that I'm super disappointed in. This is so frustrating. These are all snap
dragons that self-seeded themselves. I didn't start any snap dragons this year and I'm so grateful
I did not because look at this bed. This is all just seed that fell here last year and it sprouted
but I was looking over here and I thought oh that yellow wing doesn't look good
and I'm so glad I didn't take time out of my day to start snap dragons because these plants already
have the disease rust on them. It's a fungal disease. I've struggled with it the last two
years. It's why I did not cover my beds and I see it on one, two, three. It's that I'm not going to
touch it and so I'm going to at the end of the day when I'm completely done with, it's over there
on that one, I'm going to cut all these back. I don't see it on this edge of the bed yet but I
was gonna harvest my first snap dragon bouquet today. Do we see it over here? I don't see it
over here. My thought with that bed, the snap dragon bed, is I'll just let it run its course.
I'll try to keep up on it when it takes over. I will rip it out and I'll plant sunflowers
so that I can have a late season sunflower harvest and that will be fine. So we'll just
get as many snap dragon stems. Snap dragons are one of my favorite flower and those and I just
love all flowers but snap dragons are one of my favorite. So it's kind of disappointing that
that's something I struggle with. On this arch trellis I'm going to put two of my cherry tomatoes.
These are flavoretta and citrine. So this is an orange cherry tomato and that's a red cherry
tomato. Yeah there's a couple slugs right there and a couple worms so that's good. Which one's this?
No this is clementine. This is an orange tomato too. This is a large cherry tomato. Now we're
gonna go plant something super fun. I am going to try to grow huckleberries for the first time
and I'm going to put them right over here. I have no idea how big they get.
It doesn't say on the tag but I thought on the end of this dahlia bed this would be a good place for
them. I have a couple volunteer zinnias right here. I'm trying to decide. These are weeds.
I'm going to transplant them. This is what I'm going to do. Pick that up, put that there. I want
to get this huckleberry planted pretty close to the edge so that it's farther away from the dahlias.
We're going to stick these zinnias in here. On the opposite end of this bed, well in the bed I have
dahlias, I need to clean up. Those are all the stems from last year. I need to clean that up.
That's on my list but over here I've got two tomatillos and a ton of weeds. So what I'm going
to do first is get all these weeds out of here. You know what I need to go grab my wheelbarrow
because I need to just start cleaning this bed. I put molehill soil in here and that's what
seeded all of these weeds. So let me go with the wheelbarrow and I'll clean this bed out and get
these tomatillos planted at the same time. That looks a lot better. I'm just going to use that
as mulch. I'm going to weed this and then I decided I'm going to actually put these tomatillos
somewhere else because I don't want them to get overcrowded by these dahlias. So I'm going to put
I think squash here and we're going to see if we can get some squash to grow up this trellis. I
figured out where I want to put these tomatillos but not right here. I need to weed this area first.
These are some early butternut. I want to make butternut squash soup and freeze it and I'm
hoping I can get these to grow up this trellis. Gently gently open these up. Squashes really don't
like being transplanted that much. We'll be gentle. Be gentle. Gentle gentle. So I'm going to try to train
these butternut squash up this trellis. I think I'm going to switch gears. I was going to do all
the tomatoes but that is a tray of marigolds and they are small cells. I don't want them to dry out
so I'm going to go ahead and get this bed planted out with those marigolds and right here is where
we're going to put these tomatillos. All these little plants are volunteer snapdragons.
I have three dahlias here. These are a new variety to me. All the dahlias that I have in
my garden are all floret dahlias, a mixture of all the different ones she has. These ones that
I started were from Johnny's and they were supposed to be doubles. Most of the ones from
floret are singles and meaning like a single petal and they're really beautiful. I've got two
different color marigolds here. These are supposed to be the huge giant cut flower marigolds.
So I've got orange. These are orange and I have 10 of these that germinated and I have two four
five two four six seven of these yellow ones. Let me google how far apart these are supposed
to be planted. Okay so these get huge 32 to 42 inch in height so I'm assuming they need to be
planted relatively far apart. Large flower heads average three inches set atop sturdy plants. These
giant marigolds are prolific producers for cut as well as excellent for garden performance. Sturdy
uniform flower heads are useful for marigold garlands. Giant yellows tend to be slightly
shorter than giant orange also known as the African marigold, American marigolds, and Aztec
marigolds. One thing I'm doing is I'm going to do the yellow marigolds on that side the orange on
this side is I'm planting these pretty deep probably an inch deep. These are going to get
really big so I want really strong roots. Can you see those little white bumps on the stem? Those
are roots wanting to grow I think to stabilize this because obviously this is a pretty good
size plant with not very much soil. Definitely a good time to get these planted. So I'm planting
them about this deep to help kind of give a sturdier foundation with these. I mean I've never
grown these before that just intuitively that's what I feel like is the right choice. It's getting
pretty toasty out here. I think it's I was just talking to Josh on the phone I think he said it
like 70 degrees but to me that is very warm. Let's see it says it's 73 right now it's supposed
to be a high of 75 and tomorrow the high is supposed to be 58. So we'll see how much more
I get to out here before I have to switch gears and do some stuff inside. And I have one there I
I think this is just going to be a marigold bed. I wasn't really planning on how oh you know what
I had an idea I was going to do something creeping out the front but I definitely need to get some
things watered next and I need to get all these snapdragons up. I'm a little disheartened about
this snapdragon situation. I'm pretty sure that disease is just in my soil at this point.
I see these marigolds especially the orange ones as the centerpiece of some dinner party.
Oh these are wilting. I probably should not have done this right now it's too hot.
So what I've done is I have 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 marigolds in this bed and then I'll come back
and I'm going to plant something along the edge to grow out of this bed. We'll see how that goes
but what I think I need to do now is I need to stop planting. It's just too hot it's too hot for
me it's too hot for the plants so what I'm going to do is give everything a drink of water that I
have out here because I started putting things yesterday where I want them but I just don't
think I want to stress them out too much by planting them right now or stressing myself out
too much. I don't want to burn my legs and I don't want to put pants on because it's too hot.
A long sleeve is enough so we're just going to take a break here. Give everything a good drink.
I've got plants everywhere so I've got to see if I can reach everything with a hose. So I'm going
to have all the irrigation in the garden go for 20 minutes to water everything I just planted
even better. Uh-oh I've got a kink in this so I'm just watering what's not on the irrigation.
I already watered these but I'm going to plant them tonight but I need to get I know my limits
I need to take a break. I don't want my legs to burn and I'm getting overheated. Plants are
overheated. Everything's been watered. I'm going to go drink a bunch of water which I have up here
and then I'm going to go in and snuggle my baby. We have a lot more to do yet but
we have gotten a good start here. I'm going to go inside drink some water. I'm going to go snuggle
my baby, cool off, maybe eat some lunch and then we'll regroup. It is about two hours later. I had
an hour and a half cuddle session with my baby. I've eaten and I've got some more water. The sun
was behind a cloud about five minutes ago and it felt really wonderful and now the sun's not behind
a cloud anymore so it's warm again. Josh just told me it's 74 degrees. I think I've got a little bit
more in me. I feel I feel like a new person. I could tell I was getting a little overheated and I needed
to take a break and that's exactly what I needed. So let's head out into the garden and keep going.
I think what I want to do because I'm trying to every time I come out here I just had a panic
moment because I see I left the gate open but I know my dogs. I know exactly where my dogs are.
The nice thing is we have two layers of fence for the dogs. I mean Dakota our little dog can go
anywhere he wants because he can get through these little grates but the awesome thing about him is he
is not a runner. My other two are runners but we designed it so that there's two barriers that
they I have to leave two fences open for them to get out which is not unheard of. Sometimes that
happens but what I'm trying to do every time I'm kind of tackling this massive project of getting
the garden completely planted out so that I don't feel overwhelmed is to try to tackle smaller
little projects so that I feel like I'm accomplishing something and we can keep going.
Tomatoes that we just planted look fantastic. The kale looks really good. I don't see any
wiltiness I had. I asked Josh to turn on the irrigation for 20 minutes. You can see that
there's some good moisture to the soil. These are looking really good even though we haven't
planted them yet but these tomatoes over here look great as well. Now what I was a little worried
about a couple of no they look great okay you probably noticed that oh there's a hummingbird
hello hummingbird um oh see the irrigation's running right now on here two of those marigolds
down there were a little droopy they look fine now so that's great so I think what I want to do
is not plant anything right now but I have some time to get something done out here before I'm
going to go in I'm going to make dinner tonight but it's gonna be super super easy and I think
I'm going to tackle this bed here so this was a pumpkin bed last year I put a random eucalyptus
in here and all this calendula has self-seeded itself this bed is going to be one of my tomato
beds and so I need to clear out that calendula that whole bed or half of it is almost calendula
this will self-seed itself again I never ever ever have to plant calendula again I don't think
this might look harsh what I'm gonna do to this bed because this is absolutely beautiful
but I need this bed for something else and I don't need this much calendula I know
I will be able to harvest more yeah all of this right here these are all calendula babies so even
though I'm gonna rip well I probably I'm just gonna rip it back at this stock here they might
even come back from this one plant maybe not but I know that there will be more calendula this
growing season even though I'm gonna tear this out now it's been so beautiful because I've been
able to see both of these beds from my window see like that this is why they just perpetuate
themselves they go to seed so fast so I'm just gonna prep some more beds in this time that I
have out here there was quite a few weeds in here that I'm getting which is good too yeah there's
more calendula down here it's everywhere I have a bunch of dahlias in here too because this was a
dahlia bed two years ago this stuff grows so fast so the little babies that are in here
we will have calendula flowers in probably four weeks three and a half four weeks
okay this bed is ready for tomatoes now in my efforts to prep beds I'm going to go ahead and
get this one prepped too I've got weeds in here I've got all of these sticks that need to go
I kind of left a lot of this in here for the pollinators because pollinators will hibernate
in the tubes of dead plants from what I understand I don't totally understand all of it but
I think I read a comment from one of you all so that's why I left a lot more stuff in here
one I was also super pregnant so some things like these peppers these were peppers I just didn't
I didn't get pulled up these are weeds that's a grass that's really bad stuff
so we're just going to get this out of here now but I think I need to go dump this first actually
I gave the calendula to my chickens I have no idea if they'll eat it or not but
thought they might have fun scratching it around we did not finish the chicken coop but over this
last weekend Josh got the inside primed and I'm working on projects today so when I'm not working
on this big massive garden plant out he bought the vinyl to put the flooring in it and then I
think we just need to put the bedding in it and build a temporary fence because we're going to
put a temporary fence so they can start using it soon but it's been a little bit of a slow go because
we had a baby that took priority we wanted to make sure we were maximizing
that time the chickens have a safe place to live in the meantime but now we have a little bit more
time the weather's changed we can start kind of doing some more projects like that so that's
what we're working on trying to get up these weeds too this bed will be ready to plant in I was
planning on putting some compost and amending each one of these beds but that did not happen so
we'll do that next year and if I had compost I would just put compost in each hole that I plant
something in that's a really efficient way to do it but I don't have any of that right now
I've planted peas four times and I have one that germinated along this whole back row
must not be my pea year well I may have spoke too soon I see one two three four five six seven eight
so maybe we'll get some peas this looks good I'm gonna go dump this and get another bread
another bed prepped well I'm not that surprised but the chickens are not interested
in the calendula I didn't think they would be but figured it would not hurt to let them
play with it at least if they wanted to but also they're all in the shade right now
this was a zinnia bed and I just pushed the zinnia stalks over onto the bed and I kind of let
everything just kind of compost and break down over winter like the greenery of it obviously
there's none of that left figured it maybe didn't hurt anything since I didn't cover the beds
I don't know I frankly don't do a ton of research you see that as much research as I do
when it comes to gardening I if I have a question I just simply google it and a lot of when I garden
is just I do what feels right in the moment and then I learn from my mistakes and I learn from
you all because you all tell me from your experience what has worked and not worked for
you that's why I did not cover these beds with landscape fabric so you said it would be better
if these beds were able to breathe over winter there's some mushrooms growing in here which is
a good sign weeds that I can get easily since this ground is not dry yeah these are super easy
to pull up right now oh there's a baby zinnia right there that's on my list of things to plant
today all my zinnias not today I mean I would love to get to it today but this week I've got
to get my zinnias in the ground last year I had one whole bed plant itself with zinnias which was
awesome which is kind of the inspiration for this year just letting things go to seed
letting nature do the planting for me let me show you something super crazy this was
mind-boggling when I saw it these vines that I'm about to take up were a drying bean you can see
here some leftovers from last year that were on the pods some weeds but look at this this was one
of the plants from last year this is the same plant that grew last year and the greenery is
coming back which is crazy and then if you look here that one's split but all of that new growth
new growth that's crazy that's new growth from last year's plants and it's even more
predominant there's a pair of toilet paper binoculars we made those yesterday but do you
that new growth there that's from last year's plant I did not plant these I do not believe
these are seed that planted themselves I'm pretty sure you tell me if I'm wrong this is a stem from
last year this is all now this looks like something that seeded itself this seeded itself I think but
this well maybe maybe maybe they're seeds that plant themselves I don't know I think
they are growing back from last year's plants I've mentioned that we had a really mild winter
I didn't think it was that mild but we did have two days of snow or three days two days of snow
I think that's as much as I can take right now and go dump this I'll be right back so all that
to say I'm gonna leave this trellis just the way it is and see if we get more growth on it
the soil does look pretty happy I wouldn't be surprised if this bed just pops up with a ton
of zinnias I think that's good I think we're gonna leave that just like that mushrooms are always a
good sign soil health okay well that's what I've heard I don't know if that's true or not
I'm gonna leave this zinnia here that's another fun thing about I think I'm going into my six
year gardening recognizing seedlings when they pop up and knowing that's not a weed that is what
a zinnia seedling looks like I just caught another one out of the corner of my eye that is a dahlia
seedling that planted itself from seed see this right here is a calendula seed that's why I don't
have to worry about having calendula all season long but something made a home there okay so now
let's see what other beds I can kind of prep this bed I'm a little this is so pretty but my ranunculus
are almost done for the season but they've been so beautiful even with them kind of dying back
they're still gorgeous this bed I don't know what to do with it we've got straw flowers I'm gonna
now I thought this was chamomile I think it is chamomile or it might be the weed that looks
like chamomile I'm gonna rip this up too I've got a beautiful onion right there
I've got garlic because I had had garlic in here so there's quite a few there's elephant garlic
regular garlic this right here I planted some fingerling potatoes in this bed a few years
last year the year before and I did not really like them and obviously I missed a ton of them
because this whole bed is basically that's just one I think that's the weed chamomile I don't
think this is the actual plant chamomile so I definitely want to get this before it goes to seed
no I think the weed chamomile is super teeny tiny anyway we're pulling that up got some grass in
here that's about to go to seed need to pull that up and dandelions I don't need to worry about
having dandelion is my garden if I want dandelions I have enough of those growing in my yard it's a
straw flower I have a whole bed of straw flower they I like straw flower but they're not my
favorite I don't need as many as I have but I don't know what to do with these potatoes
when I was inside I was considering just putting a bunch oh wow okay yeah I mean this
that's the seed potato right there so this is what a young potato plant looks like
you got your seed potato and then these are all baby potatoes this is a Yukon gold or something
these are all baby potatoes I hate to like waste all this potatoes because it's food but I don't
love potatoes I don't know I think I'm gonna let it go well my parents will come over we'll harvest
and then I will gift all these potatoes and then once we harvest the potatoes we'll do something
in this bed I can do something over here so I just made a ton of space here but I was considering
ripping out all the potatoes but that feels wasteful when I could just let it grow out
we love harvesting potatoes and then I can text all my friends and family
and I can donate them to my local food bank does not take fresh produce they just don't
because it's too hard for them to manage that our food bank is super cool they partner with
local farms and farms will give them produce but they don't let home gardeners donate to them
but I'm sure I could find people that could benefit from these potatoes so we're not going
to pull them up I'm just getting all these big weeds out of here I'm looking in here for grasses
I really don't want grass to get established that would be bad that soil was all the soil
from the mole hills that I put into the beds that need to be taken out it needs to be taken out
because it seeded the beds with a ton of weeds well now we have space right here to do something
what I don't know yet but we'll do something probably a pumpkin if I had to guess because
you know me I like to stuff pumpkins anywhere I can okay I'm gonna go dump this two more beds
this last year was a zinnia and pepper bed it was beautiful I planted the Oklahoma
pink zinnias in here Oklahoma series of zinnia is a teeny tiny zinnia variety and they're so cute
and then this was my hot pepper bed too last year and black beans or pinto beans on that back row I
don't remember if it was black or pinto I actually have a couple volunteer bean plants it looks like
I'm getting some pea shoots which is exciting and that that that this is a volunteer zinnia
so I'm sure that's an Oklahoma pink or some crossbreed this is either oh it was pinto beans
that's what I had planted all right last major bed well and then I walked by two others this is
what I thought was the last one but oh I think it's easier to do it this way look at the root
of this parsley serious business right there it's definitely easier picking this up now that it's dry
it was pretty heavy when it when I first cut it that wasn't necessarily intentional but it seems
to work out pretty good I'm gonna need to get these out but that's gonna be for a different day
okay parsley root crazy okay all right two more beds almost ready to be planted out
and I pulled up all the infected oh shoot I just see a spot no I don't think so all the infected
snap dragons over here which I know it's really that's why there's a bare spot only a matter of
time before it's gonna trickle its way down this way but because I've touched that I do not want to
touch these but I am for sure going to get one okay out of these snap dragons but I want to
change my clothes I will throw these gloves in the wash wash my clothes I'm going to rinse off
take a shower before I make dinner and then tonight I'm going to come out harvest those
flowers and make up okay I just don't want to touch anything else in the garden since I pulled
up those diseased plants and what was I going to do it's pretty hot out here again I was going to
grab a couple things that can't be out here everything has been watered so it should be good
my goal again would be to come out here tonight but I don't think that's a realistic plan
I think I'll be too tired I've got all of this to still plant is either happening
tonight or tomorrow these have to be planted because they're in such small little pots I just
don't know where I want all of them yet so that's why I was planting the easier things even though
the tomatoes and peppers probably would do better in their bigger pots but that's okay actually I
didn't get any peppers planted today dinner's gonna be easy tonight but I think I probably
won't come back out here I'm pretty toasty oh I was gonna say I have all these I still need to
plant too but I'll get to it in time I have gotten enough vitamin d for the day I actually
had a doctor's appointment a few weeks ago and I really stressed that I wanted my vitamin d levels
checked I guess it's a test that's not ran super often but vitamin d affects a lot of things
and so I got that blood work done and I have very low vitamin d levels so low that my doctor put me
on some prescription strength vitamin d supplements which I'm super excited about you take one pill
once a week and I'm this next week I'll have taken my third one supposed to take three or
four weeks before you feel the effects of it but anytime I'm outside I can definitely feel myself
come alive again but I don't want to oh my goodness I don't want to overdo it I'm going
to go get in the shower and then I'm going to make dinner thank you for being here thank you
for being you and I can't wait to see you next time if you want to watch some more videos let
me pop them there you can go enjoy between now and my next upload cheers
