Austin weather: Possible showers on the way

The region has officially hit triple-digit temperatures for the first time this year, with current conditions remaining above average and humid. While the immediate forecast predicts continued heat in the upper nineties, rainfall is expected to return by the end of the week and into next week, which will provide much-needed drought relief and a slight dip in temperatures.
