Video Summary
AI GeneratedLisa from Primitive Gatherings showcases the completion of a 12-part mini quilt series. She reviews each individual mini quilt design, discusses available kits and patterns, and introduces the \"Grand Finale\" quilt—a large-scale project created from the leftover scraps of the previous twelve designs.
Hey everyone, it's Lisa from Primitive Gatherings,
and today I get to talk about the grand finale
for our mini quilt series.
So we have done 12 previous mini quilts,
and I'm gonna go through each one of them for you.
And then Alicia made, behind me, the grand finale
out of all the scraps that were left over.
So she's completely used just about everything
that we have used to make these 12 mini quilts.
So we started off with a fat quarter tower
of garden gatherings, and a fat quarter tower
of garden gathering shirting.
So that's what we started off with
to make these 12 mini quilts.
We also have downloads available for all these patterns,
as well as kits.
If you order a kit from us,
you actually get the printed pattern in the kit.
So be aware that every one of these is still available.
We do have towers of garden gatherings left.
I don't really know where we're at with,
if we have, we do have, Jess is like, yes.
So whatever you want, we can make this happen for you,
or you're more than welcome to use your own collection,
however it looks for you.
All right, so let's get started
in going through the monthly minis.
So this was monthly mini number one,
and it was called Scarlet Star.
It's just beautiful.
And then I'll show you the backside
on how they were quilted as well.
The kit and pattern for this one is $16.
And I do believe they came with binding
and was there backing too?
Some of them come with backings, yes.
So that was number one.
Number two is called Mini Maze.
And look at how cute this one is quilted.
And you're more than welcome to switch up the colors
of any of these when you start making them as well.
This one was called Blue Sky.
And this one featured, I believe churn,
or shoe flies and flying geese, right?
Yep, shoe flies, flying geese,
square in a square on this one.
And a lot of these little mini quilts
have a coordinating video with it as well.
So I'll go through and do some of the units
that are harder to do in the quilt.
All right, this one is called Hunter Star.
I love this pattern.
And we also have triangle papers and stuff
when applicable as well.
I do believe Jess is gonna do a monthly,
or a comment sold on a bunch of this stuff as well.
This one is called Cheddar Star.
Sorry.
I love how so far, I think each one of these
has been quilted differently.
Little clamshell on this one.
This is one of my favorites.
I redid this one totally.
So this one is called Red, White, and Scrappy.
It just has a little 3 1⁄4 inch grid on it.
And just a reminder too,
that if you need any of your mini quilts quilted,
we can do that.
You can line up four or five of them at a time
on one backing, and we can quilt all of them for you here.
This one is called Very Berry.
Sweet.
All right, Yellow Cheerios.
We'll put it that way.
There we go.
Quilting clamshells.
And then we have one called Very Merry.
Christmas time quilt.
Crosshatch a little bit bigger on this one.
And what's nice about mini quilts
is they can be easily quilted
on your own home machines as well.
Prickly, Green Prickly Pear.
There's no prickly pear cactuses by me here.
Next up, we have Glitter Girl.
All of the colors.
And a little orange peel on this one.
And then number 12 was Sorry Not Sorry.
Just some flying geese.
And lots of space.
Very modern on this one.
All right, so those are all 12 of the mini quilts.
But look at the quilt behind me.
We named it Grand Finale.
And I'll have a project sheet for this.
So whether you have strips,
or you're gonna cut squares,
I give you all the information
on how to complete this quilt right now.
This one is 80 by 80 behind me.
And it is set with, these are the darks,
these are the lights,
and then this is a porcelain.
I can't remember the yardage on the porcelain offhand,
but that will be in the pattern instructions
that you will be able to get with this one.
And I believe that we are gonna release this one
on April 23rd.
So look for that pattern there for Grand Finale.
All right, so we will resume our mini quilt series in June.
We just need a little month to recoup and get going.
And then we'll be back again with minis in June.
So bye for now.
