Hello everyone, this is Pinay Mama Bear. Welcome to my channel and I hope everyone is doing well.
In this video, I will be showing you 50 varieties of crested succulents in my collection
and all plants are labeled. This accumulation of stunning mutations is a result of my fascination
or some might call it obsession with this unique and captivating beauties.
To me, there is something magical and mesmerizing about crested succulents.
I know that some people might not feel the same way. As they say, beauty is in the eye of the
beholder. Sit back and relax. Without further ado, I present to you 50 different varieties
of crested succulents in my collection.
This crested Echeveria is about four years old. It has the classic crested look of flat
wide stem or fan-shaped stem instead of multiple branches. Leaves are small and
growing along the top of the ridge of the fan-shaped stem, pushing against each other,
creating a bunching effect.
So,
this Korean beauty sprouted a normal growth in the middle of the plant
that made her more unique and stunning.
This mermaid tail might not be the prettiest of them all, but she's got her own charm.
Some crested plants may shoot out new normal growth with well-formed rosettes,
but they're usually smaller and more compact than normal plants. For comparison,
I have a normal Aeonium starburst on the left and a crested starburst on the right.
All crested plants are one-of-a-kind and unique. No two are alike, even if they are from the same
species. And this is true for these four variations of crested Aeonium sunburst.
You might remember this first variation. It was featured in one of my previous videos,
where I trimmed off most of the cylindrical or rounded stem
to keep the fan-shaped crested look of the plant.
Of course, I saved the best for last. This crested Aeonium arboreum is one of my favorites.
At almost 5 years old, it is one of the oldest crested plants in my collection.
At 17 inches tall, it is the tallest crested plant I own.
All good things must come to an end. It was a pleasure sharing my crested succulents with you.
This collection is very near and dear to my heart. Please like and share my video,
and if you haven't already, please subscribe to my channel.
This is Pinay, Mama Bear, signing off for now.
