A Day In My Life Back In California ☀️

Yes, you read the title right. I am back in California. I'm back in California for a week, but I thought I would bring you guys along for a day in my life in California. I just woke up about 30 minutes ago and I made these for breakfast. This brand, Kodiak, we, John and I love this brand, but these are French toast sticks, cinnamon French toast sticks, but they have protein in them and I made them for my parents and me and maybe Ronnie and Erin can finish the last of those. Gosh, they are so good and just so delicious. So that's how I started off my day today. Ellie, what's your day in the life out here? But this time around, it's a little different being at Ronnie and Erin's because, oh, oh yeah, you wrapped your belly. You're a yuppie. Tiger living here. This is the room I'm staying in for a week this time. So the reason I'm out here, I generally thought the last time I was gonna be out here in California was like my last time where everyone would be living here and everything, but that didn't happen. Everyone is still here, but they're all like, like my parents' house is sold and Ronnie and Erin, they're starting to prep their house so they will move and pack and everything. There's a lot going on here. You know, how we've been filming Merrell Twins videos is we've been kind of like bulk shooting and stuff and just per our calculations, there wasn't going to be enough videos if I didn't come back out here because we just, we didn't know where everyone would be. We were just like, let's play it by ear. So I'm out here and it's been really nice. This is my third day of being here technically. So yeah, so Ronnie and I were filming some videos. So this is a day in my life in California. My parents are staying here at Ronnie and Erin's. Everyone is here except John. I'm putting in my contacts right now so I can see a little better. Usually I just film my whole week out here in California, but this time I thought I would just do more of the details of what a day looks like out here. Also look at this new brush that I got. It's from a brand called Shelter Skin. They do like body butters and stuff with tallow, but this brush has like stainless steel bristles on it and it feels so nice on the scalp. But look at this. Boom. It's like a little pretty body brush with my name on it. I got one for Ronnie too. I'm going to make some breakfast soup with my mom. All right, so now we're going to be making some soup to have for the week, but I like to eat it for breakfast. We've got zucchini, celery, carrots, cilantro, already peeled garlic, and an onion that my mom is already chopping. And then we're going to add ground beef, lime, and tomato paste to the soup along with beef broth. It's going to be a very yummy beef soup. This is like kind of the soup that I just make a lot. I don't know. Ronnie really wanted it and it's probably one of the easier soups that John and I make. So we're going start. So soup is basically done. So basically it's just the ground beef with rice and a bunch of veggies. We've got some potatoes in there too and cilantro and lime. It's just such a great soup. How do you like the soup? Is it good? It's really hot right now. Oh, it's really good. Yay. Another successful soup. Not that it's any different than the normal soup I make. It's a lot of work, isn't it? I mean, it's just chopping. That's the stuff. That's the part that's always kind of like the harder thing, but really, really good. I'm going to have some too. It is so good, Vanessa. It doesn't even need crackers. It doesn't need crackers? It doesn't need crackers. Wow. You can tell if a soup needs something more, our dad pulls out the crackers. I did actually. So soup was a success. Now I'm going to put on some makeup to film a video. First, I'm just going to spray some real toner on my face. I'm really just feeling lazy today. Like I didn't even wash my face. And I'm spraying with this Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. Yes. I'm going to use this Mineral Sun Glow. It has 43 SPF 5 in Beauty. I feel like it gives like a really nice glow. We're going to take our Merit dip, kind of just start right there. Wait, that's looking really nice. Hi, Ellie. You want to get your makeup done? We're ready for blush. All right. Okay. And then I brought some new blushes from Cosas. I brought Intuition and Vital, but they're really pretty. Today I'm going to use the Vital color. You can also use it on your lips. They're pigmented, but they're not so pigmented that if you use a lot, that you're going to be like, oh no, I used too much. Very buildable, very pretty. Now I'm going to fix my hair so we're ready for filming and our Merrell Twins members live stream today. Wow. Yeah. Wow. Look at you. Are you, where are you going? Going to the Moana premiere. Oh, oh my. But look what they did. What, what? The butts. Oh no. He's got a warning on his booty. Okay. My hair is now styled. I know I just ate, but I'm kind of craving a snack. That's bad. No, you can't. I only have three more. Do you want one? No. Today I'm craving a little snack and I brought some snacks with me from home and this is a brand called Soli and they have like gummies and stuff and these are little fruit snacks, but they're literally just made with mango as like the base. And so this one is mango and orange and it's, they're so good. But yeah, if you're looking for like a new little fruit gummy snack, this brand Soli, I recommend. So now we are streaming. We are going to be streaming for our members today on our Merrell Twins live channel. So yeah. I made your guys a beef and veggie soup from a couple of streams ago. It was so good. Looking up another soup recipe for this week. Any recommendations? That's proof right there that that soup recipe is good. Anyways, we are in the middle of our members live stream and everyone is going to say hi. Look, all of our members are saying hi or not. Hi YouTube. Ellie, what are you doing? Chasing the lizard. Are you sleeping this whole time? Look, Ronnie and Aaron have berries. We are just hanging out outside. Puppies like to sunbathe outside and I think we're going to actually eat something before we film our next video. This is just more like a chill, a chill filming week. The last few times we've done filming weeks, it's always been like go, go, go. We're filming three videos a day, but just because there's like a lot going on with moving and stuff, we're just taking it easy. So we filmed some stuff yesterday. We're filming a video today and we'll be filming some more tomorrow. Okay. We're doing a succulent flower plant tour at Ronnie and Aaron's. Look at this. Look at these succulents. They have flowers on them. Cute. Flowers are growing on those. Look, I love succulents. I don't think succulents grow in Ohio, do they? And then look at their pretty roses. Are these roses? Yep. Pretty. And then over here they have these beautiful hibiscus flowers. Wow. They're so vibrant. Literally there's no editing or saturation color fixing on this. Look at those. Are you kidding me? Let's see how the Ron Ron garden is doing. Oh man, seeing these tomatoes are going to make me jealous. Look, we've got tomatoes growing. Oh, I was about to walk into a huge spider web. Look at their tomatoes. Oh my gosh, there's so many. One of these days I will have tomatoes like that. Hi. What are you doing? Paul Painter. I'm painting this hole inside the bathroom. Oh wow. It was something that they did some electrical work and had to punch a bunch of holes in here. Yeah. And just never got around to repainting it. Wow. I'm just painting the whole thing. You're painting the entire bathroom wall. Wow. Paul Painter. That's cool. Okay. Is it? Yeah. Okay. My mom has been helping Ronnie and Erin pack up their house. Look at all of their board games they have. They have so many board games. Okay, well I stink at filming my day in the life in California. We just ate dinner and I forgot to record our dinner. It's fine. I had barbecue chicken and vegetables and some baked beans and pretty much everybody else had the same thing. So we're going to the park to walk the puppies. We got Ellie right here and Guppy. We are now taking the puppies for a walk. Look at Ellie. Oh my gosh. Tiger doing the ruff ruff. That's what we call what he's doing. We call it the ruff ruff. Ronnie and I are filming a little something and I needed to buy a wig off Amazon and so I tried it on and Ellie thought I was a whole different person and she started barking at me. So I'm going to reveal to her that I am in fact Nessa. Ready for this? Oh Ellie. Who is that? That's me. Now I put it back on. Who is that? Is that Nessa? It's me. Oh my gosh. Do you want to try it on? Oh Ellie. That wig looks really good on you though. Really? Yeah. Do you want to see how it looks on me? Yeah. Okay. Yes. We're ready. Is there a dog named Ellie here? She knows now. She knows. It's like the harmonica thing all over you. You know it's me. It's your mother. And ready Ellie? She's bald. All right we're filming some videos now. You'll have to wait and see for Merrell Twins video. Oh my gosh. Crazy. Okay. Should we start? Yeah. Why don't we close the door? Ronnie and I bleached our eyebrows and we're hiding them. And we're hiding them. So we don't know if I'm cat sighted when she bleached her eyebrows. I think this video is gonna go up next Tuesday because it's really funny. Okay. I'm gonna. We're gonna take off our makeup now. We're gonna take off our bleached eyebrows. But this is this is a funny. This is so fun. I'm so much fun. Yeah. I'd be too. Oh my gosh. That was a funny video. I feel like yeah we're gonna post that possibly on Tuesday. But now I'm gonna just take off all of my makeup because I'm gonna be ready for bed. Ronnie has me trying this centella light cleansing oil. Now that my face is clean I'm gonna do some skincare. First things first rose water. This is the heritage brand. I just put it in my primal and pure clarifying mist. I do use the clarifying mist but I forgot that I have the rose water in this one. So next we're going to use the primal and pure regenerative hemp serum. This is to help with acne and stuff. This is one of the serums I thought was causing me an allergic reaction when I first used it. Turns out it was my logic. Just kind of let that sit for a second and we're going to use primal and pure clarifying cream. We're not going to use a lot just because we already have like some oil on our face. I'm just going to do just the tiniest bit. And there we go. Skincare done. Now I'm gonna brush my teeth. Always scrape your tongue before bed and in the morning. I didn't film this this morning because I forgot but I always scrape my tongue in the morning and in the evenings before I brush my teeth. The big vital part. I'm not going to show it because it's gross. Okay teeth are all right. Trying quick to be okay with being groomed at night while I'm here. She is an old man and he is having trouble grooming himself. So first thing we start off with his face because he does like that. Good job. So we reward him with a treat. Now we're going to clean his paws. Because he is a senior kitty we have a problem cleaning his own little paws. But he doesn't like his paws to be touched. You're okay. You're okay. This is senior joint support. We're getting his back paw. Now we'll do this other one. And now you get another treat. Now do you need help Nessa? I want to make sure that he's back here. This is kind of hard. Okay there you go.
