Oh my god, I've been away from the garden for a week and it's gotten wild. We gotta harvest my
cabbages. Oh careful, don't want to step on the squash. It's literally taking over. Excuse me,
pardon me. My cabbage. Oh okay, y'all held in there. Stunning. Oh my gosh, y'all look so nice.
Okay, big, full, bulbous. We love to see it. It's starting to get really hot here and I don't want
anything happening to these tender cabbages, so I think I need to harvest them. At least these two.
These are a quicker maturing variety. The Audrey's gotta stick around. They definitely have a ways
to go before they are ready to harvest, so I'm gonna leave those for now. Here we go. Oh damn.
Slow cabbage. Nice. Oh yeah. Oh so much cabbage. Oh my god. These tomatoes are out of control.
I have waited so long for you, my maters. These are purple bumbles.
Now these have started blushing. They're not fully ripe yet, but I'm going to harvest them
anyway so they can ripen inside. Don't want them getting eaten by any critters or if it
rains too much. I don't want them bursting or splitting and then rotting. I won't forget you.
No mater left behind. Got more over here. This is a different variety. These are called chocolate
We got some cheeks. These are sun gold tomatoes. Here we got a tomato that did split and you can
see how it's starting to rot. Did not catch this mater in time. I'm sorry. There's still so many
though. Oh here we have some gardener's delight tomatoes from fairy morse. That's sweet little
maters. We have some Cherokee purples. Look at the color on that. That's gorgeous. Oh look at
these. They're literally hanging on by a thread. Might as well pluck these. Nice. Oh my gosh. They
are so warm. Something tried getting in there though. I'm still gonna eat this mater and this
one has the faintest blush so I think it'll finish ripening inside. Please. I don't want to
lose you. These are glorious though. Wow. The costaludo florentino tomatoes are popping off.
There's literally so many of them and we got some blushers hiding in here.
What a cutie. These are mama's favorites. You over there too.
This one's a little funky looking. We don't have any squash ready yet but we're off to a good start.
Check out miss Bernadette. She's getting so nice and big up there. Wow. Talk about a jungle.
You know what might be ready over here though? My berries. Oh my gosh. They are.
We got so many boysenberries. Slay boysenberry. Come to pop.
So many berries. You need to gave it your all this season boysenberry.
I'm getting crazy. Oh that's a big one. Not too shabby. I'll take it. Oh you know what I think
is ready? Some brussels sprouts. It's my first season growing them and I think these are ready.
They're a nice size. They're starting to look a little wonky on here.
Don't want them to go bad so can I just like oh oh uh probably best to cut them off.
A baby brussel. Get this off of you. Okay they look pretty good.
Oh not a snail girl. Okay for my first time growing brussel sprouts this ain't too bad.
While we're over here a really good companion for brussel sprouts are beans. Specifically bush
beans and uh some of these pods are definitely ready. I like when they dry on the vine like this
because I personally like to like slow cook my beans or save them for seeds so you got options
when they dry up like this. We do have some green ones ready too. Whoa there's a lot down here.
So many beans. There's more. I'm sweating. There's literally so many beans.
I think these are called bear paw runner beans and they be running but we aren't done yet.
We also have a ton of these really pretty purple hyacinth beans. Oh my god there's so many. Check
these out. What a pretty color. Beans on beans on beans. Beans on beans on beans.
Beans on beans on beans. Oh it's been so big.
This basil's getting a banana. Should harvest a few sprigs of it. Best to get her now before
she overshadows absolutely everything else. Oh it smells so good. Make sure there's no bees on it.
Period. Abundance. What a beautiful harvest. Look at all these goodies. Thank you garden.
