Learning Spanish in Spain is more than studying a language. It is living it every day 🧭
During your Spanish Gap Year, you will learn through real-world experiences that bring the language to life. From conversations with local friends and host families to guided tours, activities, and Content and Language Integrated Lessons, every moment helps you grow in confidence and fluency.
You do not need to speak Spanish to join. In the first few weeks, we work with multilevel groups, so everyone starts from their own level and progresses at their own pace. Later, you can choose between two learning paths: a more intensive Spanish course or a project-based course filled with interaction outside the classroom.
Both courses offer college credits for those who want to make their time in Spain count toward their studies.
Join us and discover how learning Spanish through immersion connects you to culture, community, and yourself.

On this trip my favorite experience was probably living with host families and
going to class because I've studied a lot of Spanish in high school but it's
really different being in the country and having to use it for almost 24 hours
a day either in the classroom or going to get food and then back with your host
family it's a very different way of learning but it's the best way of
learning and you learn very fast. I enjoyed being able to have a sense of
freedom in terms of my own learning experience in the program. You learn a
lot about the diversity of the food, the languages, the culture. You're always
surrounded by Spanish-speaking and Spanish people. Great Feliz Arancha
speaks Spanish and English so it's perfect to practice Spanish and if you
don't understand something you can go to her or other leaders because they speak
English as well. It's a great way to learn.
