This video discusses the launch of CetoSwap on the Manta Network, detailing a strategic shift from inflationary \"ponzinomics\" to a sustainable \"real yield\" model. The speakers explain how integrating a DEX, a custom 404 token standard, and a comprehensive financial ecosystem creates genuine value for users through protocol fee distribution and strategic token burning.
Welcome everyone.
I hope you're doing well.
I haven't had a live video for a little bit,
but always excited to take my break off with AJ.
So always good to have AJ on the channel.
And also Jake from Dex CEO.
I've had him on the channel as well before.
So we've got two vets here today.
What I need from you guys, please hit the like button.
We're going to be talking about Ceto swap
or is it Keto swap?
I never know how to pronounce things when they're online,
but I'm guessing it's Ceto, but correct me if that's wrong.
Yeah, no, Ceto is,
the theme is the goddess of water or the ocean.
So yeah, goddess Ceto, that was the whole,
and Manta Network, we'll talk all about that.
But yeah, great to be here, James, for sure, brother.
Yeah, great to have you guys.
So we're going to listen to what they have going on.
AJ is always bringing me stuff.
I appreciate it, AJ, you are a constant builder.
And same with you, Jake.
I'm constantly hearing, Dex is doing this,
Dex is doing that.
And so I love that you guys don't just sit on your thumbs.
You know, what I saw from a lot of projects
through the bear market was they just sat
and just complained about market conditions.
And I appreciated both of you guys that you didn't do that.
You kept building and it's like, yeah, the markets are rough.
So we're going to keep building and keep trying
and keep doing stuff.
The only way you fail is if you quit.
So I appreciate you guys very much.
Let's start, I've had you both on my channel,
so we don't need to do a long introduction,
but maybe we'll start with Jake.
Just give us a little bit of background
on who you are, a little bit about you,
and then we'll jump into Cetoswap.
Yeah, of course, I'm here for a treat today.
If you like the builders, you know,
AJ and I teamed up recently,
obviously a couple of veterans in the space,
and really just brought our skill sets together
to do a whole bunch of really cool stuff.
We got a lot to cover,
but those of you that don't know me,
again, my name is Jake, DEX CEO.
I have a background in trading.
I was a pit trader on the floor
of the Chicago Board of Trade.
Got into tech shortly after that
and broke my way into crypto four or five years ago.
You know, several kind of successful products,
products, projects along the way.
And like I said, over the last six months or so,
AJ and I have kind of teamed up,
a couple of powerhouses in the space.
You know, we have a reputation of being builders,
like you said, a very large dev team.
And AJ over there has carved a niche out for himself
as the king of the AMAs
and a really great marketing team behind him.
So, you know, like I said,
we've got a lot to share with you,
and the combined power of both our teams
pushing the same agenda
has turned out to be something really special.
Awesome, love it.
And we'll go over to AJ.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
A hundred percent, yeah.
It's been a whirlwind tour.
Again, I know, James,
we even joked about being a permanent co-host
on the channel because we've done so many AMAs together.
But yeah, we've taken a little time off
from the public light because like Jake said,
we've been building our butts off.
So over the last few months, again,
we've essentially merged with DEX Finance
and now we have what we call a franchise
where we are literally building
real product market fit utility,
which we'll talk about with CTO
and everything else we're doing
on these new up and coming chains
that has been extremely successful.
And we've been able to gain a great market share
and feed both of our projects.
So again, those that don't know who I am,
original founder and original project was EMP Money.
Obviously, we were impacted by the bear market,
but we're already seeing a nice recovery.
We're building all these ancillary projects as well
to feed both EMP and GDEX,
which is the token for DEX Finance.
And we like to call it feeding the mothership.
So all of this is part of our goal
of again, taking over DeFi.
And another really cool thing,
again, now that we are officially partnered
with Jake and everybody over at DEX Finance,
all of our projects literally in this whole franchise,
they are all still functioning.
So to be around for two years plus
and to never have abandoned anything
or moved on from our projects,
I think that says a lot.
And we're continuing to just build
and make amazing products.
So yeah, man, again, I don't want to have a two-hour AMA.
So we may just jump right into it here, but yeah.
Yeah, absolutely.
Thanks for those introductions
and welcome if you're watching this from Twitter.
So I've been streaming to Twitter
and last video we had like 800 people from Twitter hop on.
So if you're on Twitter,
you want to come and comment and be part of the action,
come over to YouTube.
But thank you for joining on Twitter as well.
So, all right, well, let's jump right into it.
So we've got CitoSwap.
Who would like to do, I guess Jake is,
you want Jake or AJ,
but tell us a little bit elevator pitch.
What is CitoSwap?
Yeah, no doubt.
I can get started and then I don't know,
Jake, if you want to do a screen share
or James, if you can, I'll walk you right through it.
But yeah, we, again, this is our brand new launch.
We'll have some follow-up AMAs with James
about our other projects, SparkSwap,
which is a DEX on Pulse,
but they share a lot of similarities
and we'll kind of jump back and forth a little bit as well.
But overall, this is a truly decentralized exchange
on the Manta network.
And we have a lot of really unique mechanisms
built into CITO that really help control the inflation
that we see impact a lot of DEXs.
The reward token is CITO.
Again, you're rewarded in that for providing liquidity,
but we have some other really cool mechanisms
that allow you to profit
without actually selling the native asset,
which again, typically reward tokens
are only meant to be sold.
And that has been a major difference in what we're doing.
So yeah, and Jake, I mean, maybe let's start,
why don't you give everybody a little bit background
on Manta network itself?
There's some really bullish things with Manta as well.
Yeah, I guess, actually quick,
maybe just before we get into some of the specifics,
what's great about, as you can see there,
what's great about what we're now doing
with these quote unquote franchises
is we have a leg up, right?
So if you can see on the top of the list,
there's the 404, which is really a kind of a revolutionary
way that we're distributing real yield profit, right?
There's the exchange,
like you've probably been familiar with.
We have bridges, we have the vaults attached to it.
We're launching perpetuals, right?
So this is really an advantage
compared to anybody starting an exchange, right?
Because we've done this over and over again, right?
We have kind of carved it out a niche.
We have real products that actually provide value
to where like, if you're just trying to come
onto a new exchange or a new chain, I should say,
you're building a DEX that takes you a couple months
and then you maybe add a feature here, a feature here.
Within less than two months since we launched this,
we already have like a full feature exchange,
like I said, with a working bridge, multi-chain bridges,
fully automated vaulting systems,
launching the perpetual futures next week.
So our own NFT marketplace as well.
So that's really a big advantage just to begin with.
And then to your point,
part of it, people ask us why we chose Manta
or why we've gone with Pulse Chain, right?
For Spark, some of that kind of stuff.
We try to look for advantages,
places where we can go that isn't fully saturated
to begin with, places that have
maybe not the best bridging solution
so we can already have the leg up there.
And Manta had kind of checked all those boxes.
They also have a really,
some really interesting technology behind it.
They're built off of the TIA.
The TIA data availability is what is part of,
partially what makes Manta special.
Again, it's kind of nerdy, but at the end of the day,
it basically means that they can operate
at like a 99% efficiency over other Ethereum L2s, right?
So the gas is an ETH, but to put it in perspective,
like Arbitrum, for example,
they spent like $10 million last year
just verifying transactions back to the main net, right?
Whereas Manta could do the same kind of volume,
but literally at like 1% of that cost, right?
So that enables them to push those savings back
onto marketing and some other advantages
to coming on chain, which is great.
Okay.
No, I love it.
And again, we're super bullish on building out
and providing real infrastructure
to these up and coming chains.
And again, James, this is a reoccurring theme
that we always talk about.
We're getting away from the podsonomics 100%.
So what we do is we actually use the protocol fees.
So again, a DEX and a bridge
are probably the two most profitable pieces of software
in crypto in the blockchain space.
And so we take a small cut as a fee
on all the swaps, all the bridging,
all the other mechanisms within the protocol,
the vaults, the perps that are coming,
which we'll talk about at the end here,
and now even an NFT marketplace.
And rather than those fees going to our pocket,
we are actually rewarding the users of the protocol
with that real yield.
And so we do it in a very different way
on Spark with Sparkler.
That's basically just a staking contract.
You have to be staked to earn the fees.
But with Cedo, we have taken it now a step farther
with the Cedo 404s.
And that is really the meat and potatoes of today's topic.
And yeah, I guess, Jake, maybe go into how,
what a 404 is and how we've even taken it a step further.
Yeah, so if you're not familiar with the 404 standard,
this is a, it's, don't feel bad,
it's only a couple of months old.
Essentially what this does is it combines NFTs
with a token, right?
So for every single token that you have, right,
if you go buy one Gcedo 404,
you automatically get an NFT minted for you, right?
Conversely, if you sell, if you have a full one
and you sell 0.5, your NFT gets burned, right?
So this in general is just pretty novel concept, right?
Because the big drawback to NFTs is that
you wind up with this cool image,
but then like you're stuck, right?
Like, I wanna cash out, I can't, right?
Because there's no one to buy it, right?
So this always gives you the option to sell if you want,
which is great on its own.
And then, as AJ mentioned,
we kind of took it a whole another level deeper,
with any new tech, there's downsides, drawbacks.
We actually kind of ripped apart the whole standard.
We added a whole bunch of new stuff for security
and feature sets, one of which is actually
a reflective tax, right?
There's a tax built into it.
But again, that all goes back to the holders
if you're holding onto it.
And I guess what's really powerful about that
is not only are you receiving reflections, right?
Like, we've all been through the reflection kind of token,
but like AJ mentioned,
we're actually giving that real yield back, right?
So for all of our revenue streams,
for whether it's the vaults or the swap fees,
the bridges, the arbitration bots, right?
All that goes back to the NFT holders.
And actually, really uniquely,
what we've done is we're not converting of it all.
We don't tinker with it, right?
Literally, the money comes in, it goes to the treasury,
and then it goes right into the NFT holders' hands, right?
So everybody that holds an NFT, a GCDO404 NFT,
they're literally claiming just like what we would.
It kind of gives people a taste of being a project owner,
which is unique in its own right.
But so basically they're earning swap fees,
they're earning wrapped ETH and USDC
and from all these different revenue streams,
which is kind of cool.
But again, what's powerful about the reflections is
if you're holding onto those reflections,
you're now acquiring a larger position in the protocol,
right?
So over time, if people are selling,
you're ultimately just getting more real yield
at the end of the day.
Yeah, 100%.
And again, I think that we are still pretty new
and with this new 404 standard and how we reward people,
I don't think it's really clicked for a lot of users,
but I know the ones that have been quote unquote farming
these GCDO404s, the NFTs have been extremely happy.
I mean, again, I know James, your big thing,
which again is why we love coming on your AMAs
is because you prioritize passive income and real yield.
It's not necessarily about how many,
selling your token for a higher price
than somebody bought it for.
It's about actually generating income,
passive income through the protocol.
And then that income can be used to speculate
on the next moonshot or meme token.
So yeah, man.
And again, from another crypto veteran,
I've been in this space for over 10 years.
And I have built my portfolio,
prioritizing real yield projects like this.
So we're excited to bring all that together.
And on top of that, and this is funny too, a little,
when we set out and built this 404,
there was no other marketplaces
that were supporting the new code and the new standard.
So what did we do?
We built one ourselves.
And so, yeah, Jake, maybe you talk a little
about the up and coming NFT marketplace
and how that's yet another revenue stream for the protocols.
Yeah, man, that was funny and sad at the same time.
We weren't necessarily planning
on building our own marketplace,
but when we got into the weeds,
we launched and we realized that we could list
on a lot of places,
but none of them would allow the transactions to process
if you're trying to buy.
So we didn't put our head in the sand.
We just said, okay, let's build it ourselves.
And that should actually be dropping,
hopefully by the end of the week, actually.
We're really close on that.
But again, yeah, that's just another kind of feather
in the cap, another piece of the franchise
that we can now bring to the next chain.
And also, more revenue to the holders, right?
Whereas we were planning on just giving up
that two to 5% commission fees to whoever enlisted us.
Now we'll get that all in-house
and that'll go right back to the holders.
Okay, awesome.
And one of the reasons I love bringing you guys on
is I don't really have to do much.
I had a list of questions
and then you guys just answer all of them.
And you know what?
I'll just take me out and you guys can just take over.
I was mentioning to AJ,
we've got some really bad weather here in Nebraska.
We've had like five tornadoes in the last five days.
So if I run off,
I'm just gonna let AJ finish this off for us
because there's lightning and stuff outside.
No doubt.
So no, this is amazing.
I love this.
First off, my first thought as a web developer,
404 gives me some PTSD
because that's the error code when a file can't be found.
And so whenever I see 404, I'm alarmed,
but it's nothing to be alarmed about.
Maybe let's, before we, I usually do, I do this at the end,
but let's do it now.
We can talk through it a little bit.
But for my audience who are wanting to make passive income,
they're wanting to make some money,
they're wanting financial freedom,
what would you recommend they do as part of this ecosystem?
What's kind of the call to action
that you would like from my audience?
Yeah, no doubt.
So I'll start here and then Jake,
absolutely interrupt me or follow up.
But the real yield is 100% from the GC to 404.
And to your point, James,
yeah, we didn't name the standard again.
There was another development team on Ethereum mainnet
that really came up with this concept,
but we took it a step further with the reflection.
So nothing we do is a straight fork.
We always add our secret sauce to everything that we do.
So, but yeah, just for simplicity,
we kept the 404 standard for sure.
But to your point, how do we make money, right?
That's what people wanna know.
So the first thing is building a position in the farms.
So just like any other yield farming protocol,
for those that may be familiar,
and maybe those that aren't,
if you go to the farms, you can see,
you are actually rewarded in CETO token
for providing liquidity to the DEX.
And the reason that you would provide liquidity
is so that we can actually operate
and perform different asset swaps in the DEX itself.
So that's why we reward you for providing that,
because it makes the whole platform function.
And there are a ton of different options.
As you can see, anywhere from a more low risk
at about 30% APR, all the way up to our native assets,
the CETO wreath and the BCETO wreath
is upwards of almost 400% APR.
So the yields are still very juicy right now,
almost, well, in a lot of cases, over 1% a day.
And again, those APRs will fluctuate
depending on the price of CETO.
But what is so bullish is the, again,
this mechanism with the 404s,
the only way to get the 404 is to actually burn CETO.
So that's what the BCETO stands for.
It's basically a receipt token for burned CETO.
And as you can see right there, there's a burner.
Yep, a little zapper right there.
So rather than selling your CETO for profit outright,
you can burn the CETO, get BCETO,
and then use that BCETO to actually buy these 404 NFTs.
And if you go back to the homepage real quick, James,
this is the most incredible part of this whole mechanism.
All right, scroll down a little more,
little more, there you go, right there.
So you can see we have minted a total of 6.5 million CETO.
Again, the reward token is inflationary,
but if you go over and look at total burned,
we have burned literally almost half
of the entire CETO supply.
And this is revolutionary in terms of economics
for a reward token in a protocol like this.
So yeah, Drake, you wanna add to that, brother?
Yeah, that was a really good overview.
I think I'll just work two points I would say
worth mentioning, because that's all been burned,
there's really not a ton left to dump, right?
Essentially, anything that's left over,
anything that's not been burned right now is in the farms.
Someone would have to leave their position to sell.
Obviously, it's still being emitted,
so there's always some inflation at the moment,
but it's working really well to control it,
to keep that inflation under control.
And I guess also worth noting,
the market cap is fairly small, again,
because we're always burning, right?
Liquidity is actually almost double what the market cap is.
So we're starting to form a really good base
and strengthen that bottom right there.
So again, we're getting to the point
where we're already flipping market cap with liquidity
and constantly burning more and more.
So that's a really good overview of the mechanics.
I guess to answer how I would answer the question though,
James, of course, it's good to have an understanding
of what happens,
but yeah, you're hovering over the vaults right there.
I know we might-
Yeah, it's a great segue.
Yeah, show them the easy button, Jake, right?
Go ahead, man.
Well, I mean, actually, I'm sure,
I think probably one of our last calls
was about the vaults, James.
If you haven't checked them out in a while,
we're on our third iteration, actually.
So we've made a ton of upgrades,
but they're super fancy now, ultra efficient.
And what you can do is, so like,
if you see on that little left sidebar right there,
a little green tab, James.
So what you can do is you can,
I mean, of course, on the screen before that,
you can see all the farms, all the pre-created vaults.
But if you're an investor, this is where I would start.
I would say, okay, well, here's CETO US DEX,
or maybe I want some more stable CETO US DEX, USDC, right?
You can go and kind of compare all the CETO farms.
And you can just, if you select them
on the right-hand side there,
it'll basically just put them up in your list, right?
So as you select, right, so see at the bottom,
that's the CETO US DEX.
So right there, you have eight similar vaults
already available.
If you add more farms, you'll see the other vaults created.
This will give you a really good idea
of what other people are creating.
And if you do have a smaller bag,
you definitely would recommend just jumping
in one of these, one of the pre-created vaults.
But again, all of our vaults are community-created.
So if something's not exactly how you want it,
you can literally just go back and say,
okay, I want to create my own with this exact allocation.
And that'll give you,
essentially you can manage your whole position right there,
whether it's one farm,
or you want to be in two or three farms.
That's really the beauty of the vaults,
is that you can put multiple farms
within the same vault,
and you can even adjust your allocation.
So if you want to be a little more risk-averse,
you add more stable pairings, or vice versa.
If you want to go a little more degen mentality,
you can add more volatile farms for the higher APRs.
You can actually set different take profit levels.
So you'll see there,
some of them I have take profit 50%, 75%, right?
And this is actually one of the best things,
is the profit is actually,
there's multiple options for profit, right?
But all of them actually have a little bit of,
well, different allocations.
Some have more, some have less of the GCDO, right?
So unlike other vaults, right?
If you're just compounding to death,
or let's say you're pulling out profit like crazy,
that's going to hurt the price of,
affect our protocol, right?
But in this case, literally every time you're taking profit,
you're actually burning more CDO,
and kind of playing the system the right way, right?
So it's really kind of the best of both worlds.
It allows for a lot of flexibility for the user,
and it also is kind of putting you through the right,
the suggested use case of the project.
So this would be a, that's where I would start.
And also too, if you go back to the main vaults page there,
we're on eight or nine chains now.
So of course we want to see in CDO,
but we always like to say we like to dangle the carrot
rather than wield the stick.
So there's other options for you too.
There's a bunch of SparkSwap vaults,
and there's a lot of things, a lot of options for you.
Yeah, absolutely.
Can I ask a couple of questions about this
just to help my audience kind of think through this?
So first off, can you explain,
I get this question a lot on different yield farms.
First off, I'm going to say I love yield farms, okay?
DeFi is in a bad, bad place right now, okay?
Most DeFi projects are not doing well.
They're Ponzi base.
There's just not much that's working out
that's providing actual income,
but yield farms is traditional DeFi
that has always worked, okay?
You're providing a service,
you're providing liquidity for people to be able to bridge,
people to be able to swap,
and they pay you a small fee in order to be able to do that.
So this is an actual business where people want to swap
and you are providing the ability to do that
and you get paid for it.
So this is actually a business.
This is not really, it's not Ponzi,
it's not anything like that.
It's a business that we're running, providing a service.
So I love that.
What are these numbers up here mean?
Sometimes people see, oh, 26X, I want to do that.
What do these bonuses represent?
Yeah, no doubt.
So, and I love your recap, James.
It's 100% true.
Again, we're providing a real service
and we're rewarding our users, again,
for providing that liquidity that we need to operate.
So 100%.
But yeah, the multipliers.
So that represents the amount of emissions
that are allocated to those particular farms.
So again, we try to keep it pretty standard.
In other words, we don't try to move those numbers
that much.
However, if there is more TVL in that one particular farm
than another, obviously your rewards are split up
amongst many more users.
So we have to kind of increase the emissions to that farm.
And typically the farms that are the most beneficial
to the platform, again, CEDAW, USDEX, CEDAW ETH,
all of those that actually provide more liquidity
to our native assets.
Yes, there is a little bit more risk,
but because of that little more risk,
you're rewarded heavily.
And again, the USDEX, USDC, that's a stable pair.
So there's essentially no risk in that,
and you're still able to earn almost 40% APR.
So yeah, does that answer for you?
Yeah, is that multiplier,
is that represented in the APR already,
or is that on top of that?
Yeah, no, it's actually,
so it doesn't have anything to do with the actual rewards.
It's just to show you where the majority
of the allocations are going.
So again, depending on how much CEDAW is minted per block,
25% would go towards the CEDAW, USDEX farm,
9.25% would go to the USDEX, USDC farm.
Okay, nope, that makes sense.
That's what I just wanted to clarify on that.
And then my other question,
I think just thinking about my audience,
and when they watch this,
what they're gonna be thinking about is,
can you just help?
I know you don't wanna give financial advice,
and I appreciate that, please don't.
But how do you think about, there's so many options,
and some people are gonna just say,
I'm just gonna go on the highest APR.
Like, why wouldn't I?
Why would I want 37% when I can get 377%?
And then you add in the vaults too,
where there's kind of an unlimited amount.
How should somebody think about,
here's how I should allocate it?
Should people diversify or just,
how should somebody think through,
because I don't want analysis paralysis,
where there's so many options,
where people are like, you know what?
Forget this yield farming, there's too many options.
How does somebody think about what they should get into?
Yeah, no doubt.
So I'll start, and Jake, I'd love to hear your input too.
But yeah, I think that is a very personal question, James.
So I think that you have to really evaluate
your personal risk tolerance, your personal portfolio,
and your overall capital that you're working with as well.
I think those that are maybe a bit younger,
that are okay with a higher risk,
maybe they have a smaller portfolio
and they're looking to really maximize their gains
during this cycle, then I would definitely say,
go for the higher APR options.
Again, not financial advice, but we are a trusted team.
None of our protocols, both VEX Finance, EMP,
and everything that we built together,
nothing has ever been exploited.
So typically on the higher risk, more DGEN plays,
you have to worry about the native asset rugging
or going down dramatically.
And we have everything in place to protect that.
And maybe if you have a larger bag
and maybe you're more interested in protecting your wealth,
that would be an option for the stable farms,
something with very little impermanent loss
and just kind of sit back and collect.
So, yeah, I don't know.
Jake, do you have anything to add to that?
Yeah, I do.
In fact, if you go back to the vaults page real quick, James,
I'll show you a couple of interesting features.
So like the two you have up on top there,
those are Spark, like the one right there, Spark Maxi,
actually the bottom of that page is Spark,
well, either one, it doesn't really matter.
So you'll see the one Spark, yeah, right there,
Spark, SDI Spark, SDI Spark Maxi, right?
And then the one right below it
is the stable profit Maxi, right?
If you look at the top of each of those rows
towards the middle end of the gray area
on top of each of those rows,
you'll see a little risk meter.
There you go.
So we've kind of given you some guidance.
I mean, it's not always perfect,
but there is a formula based on market cap
and liquidity, those types of things, right?
You'll find if you add more stable pairings, right,
more of the stable to stables,
the higher allocations of those
as opposed to the more volatile assets
will give you a better risk rating, I guess, right?
So I think AJ hit it on the head.
It is definitely a very personal choice.
Some are more risk diverse than others, right?
But I think that's really one of the beautiful things
about the vaults is there's so many options
and I get it, it can be overwhelming,
but as long as you kind of go into knowing
where you'd like to be at, right,
you just go a little more stable
or a little more volatile
depending on your preferences, right?
And even if you just go down the middle, right,
as the way these vaults work,
there's like balancing formulas
that essentially move your rewards around
into the different assets, right?
So as these volatile assets are changing,
if you have a little bit of stable pairs in there,
it's gonna redirect those rewards
back into the stable pairs,
essentially like just locking in those gains,
which is a really powerful tool.
It really levels out the lows
and helps you to secure profits
when those assets do peak.
I guess one quick thing, too,
I'd like to mention while you're here,
I commend you, James, for,
I remember years ago, even,
you were saying, oh, well,
we need to get away from the Ponzi-nomics
and I wanna show me products with real yield, you know?
And if you had indulged me,
if you go up to the top,
you can see our Dow page.
And I only bring this up
because you can see the impact we've had
since we went fully real yield.
That big on the left revenue panel, right,
just at the bottom of that parabolic move,
that's about when AJ and I kind of teamed up
and started doing pretty much just all real yield.
So that last big parabolic move has been bolts, obviously,
but our bridges, our bot network.
So again, it's just really to illustrate
our commitment to real yields
and all of this money is, again,
this is a part of our Dow.
This doesn't even include the money going back to EMP
and SparkSwap and CETOSwap, right?
But again, just to illustrate our commitment
to that same ideology.
Love that.
This is a great chart, by the way.
Love to see this.
And I love the transparency, too,
just kind of showing everything that's going on,
where everything's held.
I haven't checked out DexFinance for a while,
but also, yeah, this is great.
Yeah, no, 100%.
The GDEX token has been doing great,
and we are going to implement this same UI
and transparency with EMP,
with our new EMP Fusion update.
So, and we're going to be back
for a full Fusion update with James.
But yeah, I mean, everything we're doing
is moving towards, as you said, James, real DeFi.
I mean, what we all got into crypto for,
not the Ponzonomics, not the speculation,
but to actually generate yield
from our own assets with no middleman.
And that is exactly what we're doing.
Yeah, absolutely.
And this chart really highlights that
when you switch to real yield, you make money.
Like I said, it's not rocket science,
but it's taken a lot of projects,
a long time to kind of figure that out.
So kudos to you guys.
And I love having you on.
AJ, I'm having you on several times for different things,
but I'm looking for people to save the space
and to keep moving forward.
And hey, let's keep building stuff.
I still believe DeFi can work,
but there's just some principles that we,
and really they're just business principles.
If you tried to start a business and said,
well, we have no revenue, the business would not work
and investors would not make any money.
Like that's just the way the world,
this way capitalism works.
So I love what you guys are doing here.
Awesome brother.
Yeah.
So I have two more things.
I don't know if you have a question,
but we have, again,
I'm trying to be respectful of everybody's time.
I know we've got to run right through it.
But one thing that we did kind of forget to talk about
is how to even get to Manta.
So if you want to go to the bridge real quick, James,
we can talk about that.
And then we'll end on some really bullish updates
with the perpetuals.
But, and then yeah, happy to take questions as well.
But the bridge has been super powerful.
So we are one of the only Arbitrum
and BSC bridges to Manta network.
Obviously, like you said, James,
we use some of the liquidity
that people are providing in the farms
that helps facilitate the bridging.
And what is really cool about our bridge
is that it's also a cross chain swap as well.
So what that means is
if you're new to Manta,
obviously you need some Ethereum.
Again, because it's a layer two,
all the gas fees are conducted in ETH,
but at a fraction of the cost.
Again, most transactions are pennies.
So what you would do is if you're brand new,
you would choose whether you're coming from Arbitrum or BSC,
you'd pick your asset,
and then you would choose to receive ETH on Manta.
So if you just go up to the top there,
James, hit Manta network, yeah.
You would be coming into Manta.
So it's a BSC or either of those Ravium assets.
If you're on Rabi, it will automatically update for you.
Yeah, you may have to,
I don't know if you want to connect your wallet,
but yeah, just for example purposes.
And then, yeah, you, again, it'll switch it for you.
And then you can choose, yep, BSC.
Yeah, there you go.
USDC or any asset, and then Manta to receive ETH.
Yep, and that's how you get gas on the network.
Now you are going to pay one additional swap fee,
because again, it's like a bridge and a swap.
But again, all those fees, they're not going in our pocket.
They're going to reward the users
that hold the GCO NFTs.
So yeah, anything you want to add about the bridge, Jade?
We're in the process.
The same bridge technology we use on SparkSwap as well.
So we are going to be integrating Pulse as well.
So you'll be able to bridge from BSC, Arbitrum, and Pulse.
And we have a brand new partner
on the new OKEx layer one called X network or X chain.
And that will also be another option.
So we're going after all these lower market cap chains
and we'll have a multi-bridge solution for all those.
And then obviously, as well as L1DEX,
which is our highly anticipated DEX
on the layer one X chain,
that really we'll be able to integrate all chains
if that works out.
So again, we're always building, brother.
But yeah, go ahead, Jake, anything you want to add?
No, I think that was well said.
I would just, if anything,
I would just kind of tie it back
into kind of my comments at the beginning
about having a foundation to start with.
Most people would just be scrambling
to get one bridge to get from somewhere to somewhere,
you know, having to use a third party.
In fact, we started with the SparkSwap bridge
from, again, from Arbitrum, BSC, to Pulse.
The CetoSwap bridge actually got a complete overhaul,
which we're now actually bringing back to SparkSwap
and integrating some new technology, right?
So, you know, again, this kind of just goes back
to being able to build upon what we already have.
Everything's just getting better and better
as opposed to having to start from scratch, right?
So, you know, you'll notice the transactions,
you know, go through like in less than a minute,
you know, and again, we just keep adding
and building the better foundation.
Yeah, 100%.
Yeah, and again, we're super competitive too
in terms of pricing.
Just, if you are using a bridge,
you know, be mindful of price impact.
You know, if you're trying to move 50 grand,
you're probably better off doing it
in smaller chunks as well.
But one last comment on the bridge,
the average bridge time is under two minutes.
So that is-
Ooh, that's amazing.
Yeah, it's extremely fast.
And again, I mean, you know,
there may be some other options out there,
but I can guarantee that they're not as fast
and they're not as, you know, affordable.
So that's a great product market fit for us.
It's just people need to know about the bridge.
And obviously we take security very seriously.
We've done millions of dollars in volume
with the SparkSwap bridge.
No exploits, no issues.
We have a full-time dev team monitoring the transactions
for anything fishy.
So again, we're checking all the boxes for sure, James.
Amazing, amazing.
You can tell how the bear market's been to me,
8.62 USDC in my wallet.
So that's how-
There you go.
That's fine.
You're livin' it up, livin' it up, James.
Yep, livin' it up.
That's right.
That'll buy me a cup of coffee maybe.
So if people want to get in,
so they need to get some assets onto MantaChain,
and then they will just add liquidity.
They'll exchange what they need.
And do you have zappers
or do they need to add the liquidity manually
to get into these different farms?
Yeah, Jake, go ahead.
I don't know if you're gonna answer that
and maybe report them to the alts for zappers as well.
But yeah.
Yeah, so I mean, there's several ways to get into it.
If you're more comfortable with a traditional method,
like you said, you can just go there to trade.
Once you bridge in, obviously you'll need some gas
and some assets there.
You can exchange whatever individually you want,
create the LPs that you'd like.
Probably most of your viewers
are familiar with that process.
However, again, if you would like an easier method,
the vaults do have zappers on every farm.
Every vault has actually both zappers
and asset deposits, right?
So if you wanted to click into one of those,
on the right, there you go.
You can deposit with ETH or USDC, any of the assets, right?
You can just zap right in.
Or there is flexibility as well.
If you started in the farms
and then you wanted to just bring the LPs over
without breaking them, suffering impermanent loss,
you can actually just deposit the LPs right in there.
So again, super flexible,
really just trying to cater to each individual's
investor's needs.
Okay.
Yeah, and we have an amazing tutorial on our EMP YouTube.
Jake and I have both gone over the vaults several times.
They're a little long, they're about an hour each,
but if you watch one of those videos,
you will be a vault expert for sure.
Okay, gotcha.
Yeah, just quickly so people understand.
So yeah, liquidity, you're adding both tokens together
into a liquidity pool token,
and then that is what provides the liquidity for people.
So if you want to, you can get the right assets
and do all the swapping yourself
to create your own liquidity pool.
But for people who don't know what they're doing,
this zap in is just way easier.
It does everything under the covers basically,
and then just gets you right in.
But if you want to feel cool,
it's pretty cool when you start understanding
what you're doing and you build
your own liquidity pool tokens,
you feel pretty accomplished.
Like you did some work for the money.
So I always like that.
We always encourage better DeFi users, right?
Yeah, absolutely.
Feel free to take this in any direction
that you want to go,
because this is for you guys.
But I know my audience is going to want to know
how does this affect EMP and DEX and Spark?
And AJ, you're going to have to figure out a way.
You can only add so many things to your name there.
I know brother, it's so funny.
How does this affect the ecosystems?
Yeah, so again, I'll start,
the whole idea and what we've been building
the last two years,
again, probably more like a year,
once we really started feeling the effect
of the bear market with our own individual protocols.
And that's all the crazy part is,
now that we're officially teamed up,
our journeys are very similar.
Again, we both started as two forks on Binance Smart Chain.
We saw how the potential missteps
that we took in terms of economics,
and now we're doing everything we can to fix that.
So yeah, I mean, Jake is a little bit ahead of us.
They've already moved to a non-inflationary model
with their GDEX token.
And yeah, a portion of all the fees
from these platforms go to feed our own,
again, we call it the mothership.
So that is really bullish
because that is constant buy pressure on our native assets.
And yeah, for me and our protocol individually,
EMP, again, we're transitioning
into what we're calling EMP Fusion.
If you already have EMP and eShare,
our two tokens, you're ready to roll.
If you don't, you may want to get something at exposure.
But again, some of the revenue from all of these protocols
will be rewarded to all the Fusion participants.
It'll be a glorified staking protocol.
Again, very similar to how Sparkler
or the GCEO NFTs operate.
By getting involved in the protocol,
you get part of that real yield.
So it's really bullish for everything we're doing.
Jake and I both get criticized
that we're building other projects,
but you have to understand,
that's how we feed the home base, so to speak.
So the reason we're doing this, again,
is to not only expand our network,
but to expand our revenue as well.
Yep, absolutely.
And I know you have your original investors in mind
for a lot of this stuff that you're building,
is that, hey, I want to help those people.
I want to help those people in EMP index.
So I love that you guys just keep rolling.
So, and again, the other option
is just to sit back and do nothing.
And I don't like that.
I don't like when projects do that
or projects just shut down and just say,
oh, sorry, it didn't work out.
Sorry you're out all that money,
but I appreciate that you guys are still building.
Yep, no doubt, bro.
I'll tell you what else is nice.
Obviously, all the revenue,
a lot of it goes back to our individual project.
What we've done over the last six months to a year,
I know I've seen this with DEX
and just as a whole, both of our projects,
our communities are growing much more rapidly
than they would be with just one project,
continuing to push the sled uphill.
Every time we launch,
we get a whole another round of AMAs,
new people are coming in, they're hearing about us.
And having this whole network of different products
that are actually providing subsidence,
we covered 10 things today, right?
So maybe one thing's not for you,
maybe one thing's not,
it's real easy for us now to say,
okay, look, let's do an AMA with James Pelton
because hey, if they don't buy pseudo,
maybe they'll get in the vault
or maybe they'll use the SparkSwap bridge.
You know what I mean?
It really bolsters the whole thing, you know?
Yeah, absolutely.
Well said, Jake, for sure.
So James, I know we're coming up on an hour.
I wanna get one more little update in though,
if you don't mind.
Yeah, absolutely.
The next rollout on PseudoSwap
will be a fully-fledged Perpetuals platform.
And we already have it up and running on Spark.
So if you wanted to jump over to SparkSwap real quick,
I'd love to show the audience what to expect.
SparkSwap.xyz should pull it up.
And then if you go to the Perpetuals tab,
this is another revolutionary product market fit
that we originally built, again,
with the help of DexFinance.
The reason that we really pushed it forward
is we saw a lot of people leaving PulseChain
when the bull run initiated,
and people wanted to get exposure to Bitcoin and ETH
and all the blue chips.
So rather than just sitting back and saying,
oh, well, hopefully they come back,
we built this so that even if you're on Pulse or now Manta,
you still are able to speculate
and get exposure to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
So it is a leverage trading protocol.
Again, high risk, high reward,
do your, not financial advice, do your own research,
but it does allow you to go up to 50X leverage
on Bitcoin or ETH,
and everything is settled in our native asset called SDAI.
So SDAI is a stable coin
that is backed one-to-one with actual DAI.
And we, again, it's bullish
because we are not a collateralized exchange,
meaning that the standard is what's called a GMX fork.
Again, we don't fork anything, we build our own code,
but typically you have to have assets
within that protocol to be able to trade them.
And it's very limiting
because sometimes if there's not enough liquidity,
they either don't allow you to open a trade
or they even close your trade early
because, again, they can't pay out rewards
on the leverage that they don't have.
So we do through a centralized,
again, not in terms of custody, but a pool rather, of SDAI.
It's almost 400 or over $400,000 of liquidity at the moment.
And so all the trades are settled in SDAI.
So this is a lot more flexible.
You're able to go a lot more with leverage
and you never have to worry
about being automatically stopped out of your position.
So, yeah, and this exact thing will be coming to Manta.
And as far as I know, Jake,
we will be the first Perpetuals platform on Manta, right?
At least the GNS model for sure.
So, yeah, go ahead, Jake.
Yeah, we'll definitely have an advantage there for sure.
I'd also just really quickly wanna highlight
one other point, one other kind of really cool feature
that really makes this unique.
Part of the benefits of having partners
and us teaming up like this
is that we get exposure to a wider audience.
Perpetuals specifically, as AJ just kind of alluded to,
liquidity is a big thing, right?
So if there's not enough liquidity, you can't trade
and trades get hung, they don't execute,
they're not paying out, right?
So getting a cumulative volume is really important.
So what we've done here is, this is the SparkSwap UI,
but the contracts are kind of,
I wanna say, it's all decentralized,
but essentially they're shared liquidity, right?
So if actually, if you go back to DexFinance one more time.
Yeah, this is super bullish.
Yeah, go ahead, Jake, yeah.
Up in the menu, just scroll up a little bit there,
then you click on the futures there.
So this is actually the same set of contracts
that we use on PulseChain, right?
Like you can literally open up a trade on SparkSwap
and close it on DexFi, the exact same contracts,
the same liquidity we're using, right?
So again, it just gives more people,
people are on DexFi, people are on SparkSwap,
it's just getting more volume into one centralized hub,
which is really great.
And we'll continue to do that with Manta as well.
Again, we'll hopefully be launching
the Manta perps next week.
And then again, we can, of course,
it'll be on the CDO swap exchange.
We'll be able to tie that back into DexFi and SparkSwap
so that each individual franchise is then also more robust.
Okay. Perfect, I love it.
And yeah, that's an industry first.
I don't know any, again, shared front end
for the same perps platform.
It's really, really cool.
So yeah, we're innovating, no doubt.
Yeah, that's amazing.
Always new stuff.
And yeah, we're gonna have AJ back several times
to talk about that.
This is only the tip of the iceberg.
There's a lot more stuff going on in the ecosystem.
So again, bullish, and people have been asking me,
hey, what DeFi projects are you looking at?
Are you interested in?
And the answer is very few.
There's just, I'm getting tons of requests for AMAs,
but when I look at them,
it's the same garbage we had last bull market,
these 1.5% a day, where's the revenue coming from?
Nowhere, and not interested in that.
So only looking for stuff that actually is making some money
and love what you guys are doing.
So very excited.
Glad that you could come on the channel
and share it with us.
Thank you, brother, no doubt.
So yeah, I don't know if you have any last minute questions.
Obviously, like you said, just the tip of the iceberg,
and we're gonna be back to give even more updates
on everything we're building.
And yeah, I mean, now that we have a robust dev team,
we all have our own lanes.
Again, Jake is an amazing project manager.
I handle a lot of the AMAs and business development.
We have LA who handles all the community management,
and the core team has been firing on all cylinders now.
And now with a dev team of over 30 under Dex Finance,
we're able to bring all of our ideas to life
very, very quickly.
So yeah, man, it's super exciting.
Yeah, that's awesome.
My last question was about the roadmap, what's coming up?
But you, again, you guys are on top of it.
It's like you're psychic.
You know what I'm gonna ask next.
So we already talked about that.
So I think we can wrap up for there.
And audience, appreciate you guys.
Again, the reason I'm so thankful for you guys,
pretty much all the connections that I have
and like my friendship with AJ, being able to meet Jake,
it's all because you as an audience watch my stuff.
So I appreciate that very much,
that you've stuck with me all through the last bull market,
all through the bear market, and hopefully, Lord willing,
we're gonna have a profitable bull market here as well.
So thank you guys.
And then AJ and Jake, I've already thanked you,
but thanks for building something real
and just trying to help your communities and my community.
And look forward to having you guys back on
to see what else you guys have in store for us.
Sounds great, brother.
Cheers, thanks for having us.
Thanks, everybody.
Have a great rest of your day and we'll talk to you later.
Bye-bye.
