Charlotte Climbs 'China Climb' 8b+ At White Mountain || Cold House Media Vlog 81

Nobody talks about it but it's pretty tricky to access the routes on the left of White Mountain and it's also very fun so follow me. Axeman is this route that when you arrive in White Mountain and you look in the steepest part you're like all right what goes through that crazy feature just hanging in the middle of the wall and this is Axeman. Come on! So for our last day in Yangshuo and back to White Mountain to film some routes we climbed and the funny thing is for two weeks we've been freezing but on that last day it was sunny and warm. It provided some great light for the shooting even though that was horrible to climb in because it was just warm and slick but it was still White Mountain and it was still amazing to climb. Yangshuo had a lot of very very good food, a lot of different stuff. Last night in Yangshuo. Cheers! Before we left Yangshuo we had to go to Demo for one last night of pizza and good IPAs and we flew to Shanghai where we spent the evening with our friends at Pongo climbing gym. So I was there two years ago when they first opened. Really awesome time, good experience, good atmosphere there. So we were basically going to Shanghai to climb and hang out at Pongo for a day and that's what we did. What's the plan? The plan is to set some fun boulders for everyone tonight. We're gonna set a challenge round where the floor is lava and they have to link three boulders together but if you fall let's say on the third boulder you have to start back at boulder number one. After you're dead because you're burning the lava. No hands, no hands here. Let's see what she's got. Whoa nice Charlie. Nice. Creates a kind of fun community atmosphere and then we went out for hot pot with the owner Ko who was very welcoming to his gym. That pretty much concludes our China trip. Then we're going to Japan which brings up two big news. One bad, one good. One bad, one good. Oh no. Kind of, kind of. The bad one is that Japan is our last destination. Our last stop of a world less traveled. Yeah that's um that's a big thing. We don't know how to feel about it yet but um yeah a couple more vlogs on that world less traveled series and then we move to Salt Lake City where we're gonna continue the vlogs. But if in the meantime you have any question about our big trips or what are we gonna do in Salt Lake or what you'd like to see from our vlogs in Salt Lake there'll be two a month. So our vlogs are just gonna be what we're getting into in Salt Lake as far as the outside climbing which seems endless there. We keep learning about new areas every day from new people. And if you have any beta on climbing or restaurants. We'll take all the beta you got.
