China 🇨🇳 vs. Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 - Highlights | Week 3 | Women's VNL 2026

and it's Dominican Republic on the right in a white shirt serving on the home team China in blue on the left first swing comes in from Chuang Wu Shan straight across the net Flatter set this time for Isabelle she does find the court serve to the center good read coming in from Ginari Martinez Gonzalez for quick reaction from Leverka Marta the setter well this one's tight chance here for Dominican Republic too easy on the free ball but good reactions on the block great hustle from China the crowd love this they go again tip inside now the movement Chuang Wu Shan drops his short oh what a rally amazing defensive efforts from both sides in this one and they build on that now they had a two-point lead early on it's 18-18 now from the back line Dela Rosa is back to serve Dominican Republic leading by two it's a four-point swing in this first set this must be tight in the hands and the block is there one quick game now 22-23 inside Brelin Martinez bump set now chance to level it there's a big hole in the middle Rodriguez gets there so fast almost a little buddy kick coming in now a big swing Rodriguez again Martinez shapes it a chance for the third swing high off the hands Tang Xin can't put it away Cambrelli Martinez she most certainly can for the set well they earned that one playing some great defense look at that sacrificing player's safety to a finish on that point right there in this game it's a good pressure serve it's still up though free ball no it's outside the antenna here's how it finished oh yeah two three four cut the middle blocker we're about to find out sex out of the way on the serve good reach from Ginari Martinez now Brelin a little tip inside a little bit too easy there for Zhang Jishun to serve to pick up has it got a touch off there lovely reactions on these slow motion cameras and the coaches and players Gonzalez comes inside power swing and well Wong Bontier just watches that one on the pipe attack we've seen a lot of it's being used today from China and Tang Xin gets the snap yeah they have utilized it quite a bit doesn't have to be when it works as well drops out to offer the option of the attack for the go to Gala Gonzalez great reactions from Gala Gonzalez the big power tip coming in from Brelin and it doesn't allow the defense to get set before the offense hits the ball it's a range coming in there set up Zhang Jishun this was tight is thrown back down on the block by the captain and they do level up 25-21 this game is tied at one set apiece alongside her Gonzalez as we get underway with the serve from the Virgin Marta another big swing coming in from China says most of the time good pressure deep close serve one-handed set from Marta drops it short three ball runs the backcourt runs the reverse to Gonzalez outstretched arm from the setter and again through the middle that slightly higher set I've got the full stats but I've only seen one of those defended both in week one and here in week three the rest have found the floor that makes it a one-point game here at seven eight oh that's a reference the corner from Zhang Jishun well your left back defender has to be a little more disciplined she can't shuffle the fans are still supporting China here as you'd expect in Hong Kong if they're just going to find it a little no we won't not this time they didn't have quite the height on it from the distance to get around the post I think that was a bit more of a challenge good up tight too tight chance here from the back line snap of the wrist they're looking for the touch they're getting the touch those are the rallies that really hurt Dominican Republic they get a great opportunity to counter-attack but they can't Del Rosa in the sub goes on the pipe to Brayley Martinez and well she sucked up enough oxygen for that swing that's for sure what a dig down the line right there and then he's off for the point it's the first time I've seen like that the team has made that effort on that deep run wins the point oh is that got in it has caught the line we'll get to see we will get to see now it's in mid-rally but I'm not sure which one they were talking about good pressure serve big hands Arana that was going to be a block to close out the set 25 23 González and Isabel for the Dominican Republic and for China Tang Shing in the opposite position the outside hitters coming in they are Chuang Wushan way number two Li Chunxian yes oh lovely fake but good read in from the setup oh that's a big big hammer and arm coming in great up can they capitalize this one's tight what has gone against the Dominican Republic still on the finger of González who got the shutout to level it at 2020 Isabel another block Rodríguez is underneath it this time González is shut out there's a possibility here good reaction chance the lead scorer on the angle Rodríguez has kept that ball alive as she's done all night this one's tight quick reactions shapes the ball down the line it's that one there just double checking trying to happy was that the one they were talking about yes yes that was the one Isabel on the serve is a good aggressive serve oh what a touch that is but what a read on the overpass match point for the Dominican Republic you'll see them go with three wins head of Ukraine France and Bulgaria below them match point a swing from González for the game
