This video features an interview with Boris, an \"airdrop guru,\" who explains how to generate high returns in cryptocurrency by interacting with new protocols before they launch tokens. He describes airdrops as low-risk, capital-efficient marketing tools and provides a comprehensive guide on strategies, security, and ecosystem opportunities to maximize financial gains.
Hello everyone.
Happy Wednesday to you all.
We have a video for you today.
Um, we have Boris who's a member of my community and I call him the
airdrop guru.
Okay.
So he is, uh, he's one of those guys that is really, he keeps his eyes on all
the different crypto stuff that's going on, especially airdrops.
And he's always bringing to me stuff.
We were just talking before we hopped on how he's always bringing me stuff
saying, Hey, make sure you do this.
It's going to be a big airdrop.
You're going to make a bunch of money.
And my to-do list gets away from me.
And then I don't end up doing the thing that Boris told me to do.
And then he later, he says, Hey, we just made $15,000.
If you had done what I told you to do.
And I have to tell him I did not make that happen.
So what I wanted to do, this is not something that I'm good at.
So I wanted to bring Boris on.
You're going to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.
Not that the horse is a horse, but you're going to hear it straight from him.
You're going to hear all about
from the source.
Yeah, that's a better way to word it.
Um, but we're going to just let him talk a little bit.
I'm going to have him introduce himself.
I'm going to have him talk a little bit about, um, some of the past
airdrops that he's been a part of.
And then, um, you know, want some calls to action for you guys who are watching
of how you can take advantage of these.
And most of these don't take a lot of capital upfront.
Um, there's not a lot of risk in them.
And so that's what I really like about these.
Um, so we're going to talk through some of that.
So let's start with introductions, Boris.
Can you tell us just a little bit about yourself and then we'll,
uh, we'll jump into some airdrops.
So real short, I started my crypto ventures in like late 21.
So that was crazy.
Like big bull run.
I remember buying Bitcoin at 50 K thinking I was so smart for buying
the dip and then it keeps dipping.
Anyway, I was doing like all kinds of stuff.
I was very interested in passive income side of things.
This is where we first connected in early 22.
I remember that you were doing some really cool stuff with hoard.
So that was, that's what I did first, you know, like trying to figure out how
to make money from crypto passively.
But then after a while you realized, wait a second, like all of these
projects are kind of like not doing so well, maybe I should learn these things
myself and this is, this was a huge shift for me when I realized, okay, fine.
Let's try to figure things out on my own.
So the whole summer was really crazy.
But then in October, no, November, no, wait, September in September, English
is not my first language, sorry.
In September, I remember watching a video.
It said, do this, this and that, maybe you make some money.
And I did the steps.
And a month later in Aptos, I made over a thousand dollars for about 15 minutes.
And I did not pay any money to get that.
Like it was just test net.
And that was the huge realization for me because finally after 10 months, something
for me in crypto worked finally, after 10 months of doing everything wrong, I did one
thing, right.
And then I really focused on this area because I realized that I don't have much
capital to work with because I was a broke student like a couple of years ago and
most of the capital was gone in the bear market.
But this was a great source of revenue for me.
So for five months I was working a lot and you know, something worked, something
didn't work. You made enough money to get by.
But then Arbitrum in March came and it was absurd, like 10 hours of work in total
for more money than I feel comfortable sharing here.
Honestly, everyone who knows me knows numbers, so I'm not going to disclose that.
But it was amazing.
Like this is when I realized, OK, airdrops.
Yes. The people who want to change their time and knowledge for money, the best way
to do this is with airdrops, because simply if you don't have a lot of money, you
make only one million dollars, six percent a year.
Great. You make 60k or whatever.
Right. You cannot do that if you have ten thousand or thousand dollars.
All right. So you have to allocate your time and your resources, the ones that you
have. And when you're broke, you only have time.
You have to really learn some things and apply them and then you get results and
then you improvise on these results.
I mean, improve on these results and then you get better results and then it just
keeps coming. Like every once in a while, every couple of months, you get random
airdrops for no reason.
Like I got Pyth airdrop, like a couple of thousand dollars just for free because I
wasn't even farming Pyth.
I just saw in our community, people were talking, guys, Pyth is here, claiming Pyth.
I'm like, what the hell is Pyth?
And then I googled, oh, oh, look, four thousand dollars for no reason.
What? So this is the thing.
You won't make much money in the beginning, but with time you make so much.
It's absurd.
OK, I really recommend people to start.
So, yeah, that's kind of my story.
Like I did everything wrong.
I did one thing right. And for the last year, I've been trying to do more of this,
more of this thing that works.
OK, love this.
No, this is awesome.
And I forgot to welcome people, by the way.
We got Dane in the house and Dgriff and we got my son Hayden.
Hayden, get back to school.
He homeschools and he's hopping on my live videos now.
You need to get back to school, son.
Well, yeah, we got what you have to learn on your own as well.
Yeah, yeah. Very true.
All right. Yeah, we got a lot of Mr. C.
Good to see you, Keith.
Keith Boris, the source horse.
Yeah, that's sorry, Boris, for that new nickname that we've given to you.
But no, everybody being here, I'd like everybody here comment.
Have you ever had a successful airdrop?
Have you ever had an airdrop of like one that made you a bunch of money?
Let me know in the comments what has done well for you.
So, Boris, few questions for you.
First off, can you kind of explain?
I think some people watching are like, well, what is an airdrop?
I think we understand that like tokens come to you.
But like, why do companies do this?
Why are companies giving away free money?
Can you kind of explain that?
It's basically all marketing.
So the best way that people realize that they get loyal communities
and people who actually stick with their protocol is when they airdrop.
So they give the tokens on token launch.
So, for example, everybody knows Uniswap.
But how many people knew that Uniswap was one of the first airdrops ever?
Like in 2020, the people who made one transaction on Uniswap platform
before they had a token, they were airdropped like almost 20,000 tokens,
dollars worth of tokens. Right.
And that's when the whole thing started to make sense to people
because they realized, wait a second.
So airdrops exist as a source of marketing, because even today
I speak about Arbitrum because Arbitrum will always be in my heart
because obviously it gave me so much money for free, basically.
Obviously, I'm going to talk about it.
Like who wouldn't? Right.
It's the best marketing ever.
And this is why airdrops work.
So a company wants to get public attention
because everybody knows in crypto there's 5,000 projects, maybe even more
like in cryptocurrencies.
You have to make somehow an impact on people that they talk about you,
that they simply promote you on their own.
And airdrops has been the best way to do it.
Also, guys, airdrops work because
venture capitalists invest in projects.
And of course, projects need to pay them money back.
And the best way for them to do that is to give the venture capitalists tokens,
which they then dump on us.
And I'm joking.
They give them some investing schedule
and then venture capitalists are happy because they get a return on investment.
But we who have actually helped the project
in the early stages when nobody was talking about them,
we also get rewarded.
There's a beautiful part of it because you don't have to invest money,
but you can make a lot because simply projects want to give you money.
It's so stupid.
Like companies need people to give money to.
We are just filling the gap that they need.
It's absurd.
But that's how it works, guys.
Like you just have to identify the projects that don't have a token.
So the ones that are not public yet.
And once you do, you do transactions there.
And they give you tokens when they launch.
Not all of them. Not always.
But you do 10.
You get three or four airdrops.
That's amazing because it didn't cost you anything.
Yeah, that was that was going to be my next question was
how many airdrops have you gone for and then not gotten anything out of it?
Like what's kind of the time ratio of put in to to making money?
So basically, in first five months, I was just trying to figure this whole scene out.
So from from Aptos to Arbitrum,
I, James, I spent probably a thousand hours just because I was full time in this
because after I got Aptos, it was 15 minutes of work for a thousand dollars
or a thousand dollars.
I was like, man, this every airdrop is going to be like this.
And I thought to myself, this is gold.
So but no, obviously, it's not that it works.
So first five months, I was chasing a lot of them.
And I spent probably a thousand hours.
But only these 10 hours for Arbitrum made all the returns.
Well, most of the returns, like 90 percent. Right.
So in the beginning, when you don't really know what you're doing,
you either need to be around people who can tell you literally
what you need to do step by step, which is why you need to be around
people who understand this.
We have in our telegram, I have created a community
where you share information.
We need to be friends.
Anyway, in my telegram, we have made a free community
where people can exchange information.
But the best way is when you're actually in a discord of professionals,
when we airdrop hunt for a living, you know, like this is my full time job
for like last half a year.
So you need to be around people who know what they're doing.
Or if you want to learn everything on your own, good luck.
But it's just so much capital efficient, so much more efficient
to just learn from people who know already, because I wish I had someone
to learn from when I started.
I didn't. But now you do.
So just use their time and their mistakes, my mistakes
to become better, faster, because you have to be fast.
We only have maybe one more year to make huge gains in this,
because in twenty twenty four, everybody's going to be farming
because it's the easiest way to get money in crypto without risk.
Not financial advice, obviously, because you can if you're stupid.
But yeah, that's why you have to be careful as well.
You know, there's a lot of scams going on.
Don't just fall for stuff, you know.
Oh, hi, Odin's. Nice to see you.
And yeah, basically, you just have to be careful,
but fast, fast and careful.
It's a dangerous combination, but this is where others can help you.
Like I'm here to help.
You know, like I just want people to make money.
I don't want to be the only one with this information and knowledge.
I want to share this. This is why we're here.
So, yeah, we love that.
And yeah. Yeah.
So can you basically I don't know if I answered your question. Sorry.
But yeah, like it took me a lot.
It took me a lot of time and energy in the first five months.
But after Arbitrum, I started focusing just on big projects
with a lot of funding.
And then obviously results only come when you're consistent.
You cannot do it just for one month and disappear.
You have to do it every month.
Maybe some people do it even every week. I do it every month.
But for me, doing monthly transactions, just getting those volumes
in, it's just it pays so much.
So it's stupid. OK. Very good.
Can you tell us a little bit?
So I think people are going to want to know.
OK, so we missed this one.
It's true. You can't go back in time and get airdrops
that happened in the past, unfortunately.
Hindsight's 2020.
But what's the best way for people to get to the next one?
Do you want to tell us about this cryptocurrency state subscription a little bit?
Yeah, well, we can get to that later.
But to answer your question,
people have made about $17,000 from staking one Solana.
So imagine like $60 worth of money.
You put it in a staking protocol and you get $17,000 to $18,000
because this is what JITO was.
I don't know if anyone in the audience knows what JITO is,
but everybody knows what LIDO is.
So on Ethereum, you have LIDO for liquid staked Ether.
So for Solana, you have JITO protocol and many others,
which we can talk about today and we will because it's important.
So we have JITO Sol and JITO Solana.
It was a protocol.
You put one freaking Solana in, you get $17,000, $18,000 worth of tokens.
Like, that's ridiculous.
$5,000 was the minimum.
And I have friends who made well over six figures.
So it's ******* absurd.
Sorry for the language, but it's really like it's ridiculous.
Basically, you need to understand this.
Solana is where most of the liquidity is going now.
But some people say it's already too late for Solana because
like it's literally draining 60, 70 million of liquidity every day from Ethereum.
People are migrating to Solana.
So I'm farming heavily on Solana right now.
But there's also Injective.
And people say that maybe Sui is a good ecosystem.
And a lot of people have stopped farming StartNet
because StartNet has taken their snapshot.
So there's some opportunities on StartNet as well.
But yes, guys, if you're doing this now, you need to start on Solana this week
because I will I've already posted on the our thread.
James, do you see the message I sent you on the chat?
You can put it in the public chat.
The one with Miles Deutscher is an amazing Solana video.
And guys, if you want to follow someone for airdrops,
I'll give you three people to follow.
Miles Deutscher, you have Patrick Dynamo DeFi and Santiago.
He is one of the best guys in this space.
He has helped me with Arbitrum.
His community is really amazing.
And we've been really doing amazing work in our Discord.
But again, this this is where you need to decide for yourself
if you want to make if you want to be a tourist in airdrops
or do you want to make serious money in airdrops?
Because I found that communities like his other communities
that are also out there, they can really help you a lot.
Because whenever you have a question you ask,
you don't just do everything on your own.
So but yeah, if you want to follow three people,
three people, you have to follow Miles, Patrick Dynamo DeFi.
Drakon Digital is amazing as well, but he doesn't cover that much airdrops.
And Cryptocurrency State, our Discord, Santiago.
He's he's just he's just the man.
Like he really knows what he's doing.
So those are the four I would really recommend.
Does he have a community to join or is it best just to hop on his YouTube channel?
Miles, no, not that I know of.
But we are talking in our Discord every day.
Like we are so active there.
We have over 400 people.
Of course, it pays $100 a year, but you make that in three hours
if you're doing airdrops properly.
So it's a stupid small price and the price is going up from January 1st.
So you have this month of December to sign up and you get the old price as well.
And you're talking about, you're talking about this, correct?
This is the one.
This is where we're doing some really good work.
But again, I don't want to shill this too much.
It's just I don't want people to think that I'm here to promote this.
No, I'm here because this this helped me so much.
And we have other people who did as well.
But we don't know.
I think I think this is what people are looking for.
Is there one to know?
How do I not miss the next airdrop?
So shill away.
I'm asking you, please shill to us.
What is this and how do we get involved?
Yeah, see, this this community is the reason why I've made.
I'm not going to say how much, but a lot of money because
because people there are even I give them information, of course,
but I'm only one person, you know, like I give a lot of information,
a lot of quality information, but I also receive a lot of quality information.
That's the beautiful part about the community.
Like it's such so stupid and so basic.
But it's it's real.
So I'm just really happy to be a part of it, you know,
and to share this with everyone who wants to listen, obviously.
No, but like nine out of 10 people won't do this.
OK, one that does.
You will be so grateful.
OK, gotcha.
So there's a discord and in there's info
which goes over well here, who it's for, what's included.
And then this one says that there's an app.
Do you want to tell us about the app?
Yes, it's a great way to track your airdrops
because there's no any airdrop tracking tool in the world that I know.
So most of us, we just had to use Google sheets before this.
But this helps you keep everything very organized and very, very clean.
It's just it's very smooth.
Like Santiago is the kind of guy he's a developer.
So he he looked for something like this and it didn't exist.
So he's like, well, then I'll make it.
And now we all benefit.
So it's really nice.
Yeah, I love to talk to you about what to talk to to Santiago,
see if we can get him on the channel sometime or yeah, this is amazing.
OK, so there's two two plans here.
One is just the discord and that's ten dollars a month or fifty dollars.
No, don't take the yearly one.
It's ridiculous.
It's such a stupid, small price.
I don't get it.
Like I told him a million times, dude, Drake pays 150 months, 150 dollars a month.
We need to put this two thousand a year or at least five hundred.
And he's like, no, no, no, it's too much.
It's not.
Anyway, let's go details.
You know, then we even have a promo code for 10 percent off.
So it's even even cheaper.
So be forty five for the year.
Yeah, like if you can you if you want, you can use B to forty five to get in cheaper.
But yeah, it's just for yearly plus app.
So you pay 90 instead of 100 as an extra incentive.
People want, you know.
OK, great.
If you want to start on airdrops,
maybe I can tell people step by step exactly what they should do if they start.
Right. Yeah, that would be great.
Yeah. So because we've we've covered a lot of topics today, but people are probably
because this is a lot of information and I sometimes speak a little too quickly
because I want to just share this with the world
because it's stupid that people don't do this.
But basically, if you want to start, depending how much you know about crypto,
if you don't know anything about crypto, first, you need to understand metamask.
First, you need to understand DeFi like decentralized finance and go from there
like whiteboard crypto.
It's a really good channel on YouTube.
You have really good basics about crypto, DeFi and that kind of stuff.
If you're intermediate user.
So if you already know Web3, if you understand DeFi,
then you can skip whiteboard crypto channel
and you can actually Google it so people know which one it is.
But you can directly go to Santiago's channel.
So cryptocurrency state, you can learn a lot about it there.
And you can also ask in Discord.
But first, before you go to Discord, you have to learn about airdrops on your own.
Then you have Miles, you have Raycon Digital, you have really great people.
Patrick, Dynamo DeFi, Patrick, he has been killing it lately.
Man, he figured out Solana in October.
If I listen to him in October, I would be sitting on more five figures than now.
Like it's it's crazy.
Like he's really good at it.
So just learn from people on Twitter and Discord
and YouTube who understand this and just do the steps yourself.
So when you watch the video, do the steps yourself.
I will give you one example.
We can go to the Solana thing where Miles is talking about the
the steps. So if you understand that a lot of people are not going to do this
because Solana is not Ethereum.
So if you're on Miles' Twitter and you can literally go step by step what he does
or I will even send you the CryptoTelugu.
He has made a really great route that you can do.
You have to follow a couple of key influencers who are actually not here to
buy a meme coin and then dump on you.
They're actually here to help you on your airdrop journey.
Let me just find this one really quickly for you.
Solana. Ah, here it is.
Look. OK, yeah.
So, yeah, this is the one.
Look at this. This is incredible.
G2Sol. Yeah, yeah, this is on.
Anyway, CryptoTelugu, find his airdrop stuff.
He has made a great route.
Basically, if you're an intermediate user, go to Twitter, see what they're talking
about and just do the steps, you know, like they literally tell you, OK, guys, this is
the bridge. If you have funds on Arbitrum or you have funds on Optimism, go to this
link, bridge funds to Solana, go to this protocol, lend there, borrow there.
It's so easy, like we literally just click on the screen, guys, like we get paid for
clicking on the screen.
As stupid as it sounds, that's reality.
You basically have to lend somewhere, borrow somewhere else.
Yeah. So these are some of the protocols that you can use.
You need to find your Solana wallet.
I recommend Fantom, download Fantom, start get going.
Like it's that simple, like basically follow the steps.
And if you don't know what you're doing, just ask people.
We will all help you.
Like I want people to make money as simple as that, because as simple as that, because
I've learned everything like here, you know, I just familiarize yourself with protocols.
That's it. Just like that's that's all there is to it.
Just you just find the exact route he used.
Give me like maybe three seconds.
Oh yeah.
No, no.
Where is it?
Yeah, further Solana.
There we go.
Yeah.
Here it is.
This is the thread.
Look at this.
This is this is amazing.
He has put 17 steps that you can follow.
This is amazing.
I've followed this thread today.
This is amazing.
So you need to be a bit of a researcher and you to have some initiative because
basically that's the only way you can make money in airdrops.
Like you need to be consistent.
You need to follow the right people and do the right things.
Like it sounds so basic, but everything is laid out in front of you.
We only have probably one more year to make serious money.
And then of course use multiple wallets.
You don't want to get airdrops in just one wallet.
If you have finances to fund three, four, five, 10 wallets with volume has become
more and more important recently.
So you cannot do, you cannot do transactions with $3.
You have to use like 50 to $150, 500, ideally that kind of stuff.
But yeah, like guys, there's just so much good going on right now.
I wish everybody just listened and made a lot of money on this.
And you also have Cosmos guys.
Cosmos is going to be very, very good as well.
Drake has made a great video for, for Cosmos ecosystem.
If you're lazy, but you have a lot of money, just go to Cosmos because you
literally just take tokens in Cosmos.
You just take like three, $4,000 worth of tokens and you
just get airdrops for free.
This is crazy.
I hope people know about Cosmos ecosystem because this is
something you just cannot fade.
Like you can, but you'll be very sad.
So visit, I hope this was not alien language to your James or your audience
because I've tried to be very, very specific, very, very like concise
because this is what I do every day.
But just if anybody has questions, just ask them here.
Um, I can also check a question.
We can go through some questions.
If people have questions that would probably be best because this is the
clearest path to six figures for me that I see in crypto.
I've made some gains on ---- coins, meme coins.
I've done some gains in DeFi, but I've lost more than anywhere.
Anything else in airdrops is the first time that I've really seen a clear
picture, how you can make a lot of money from not a lot of capital.
So people just need to apply themselves and understand it.
It's not so hard really.
Yeah, no, this is, this is amazing.
Um, do, does anyone have questions for Boris while I have him here?
Um, and also, uh, Boris is in our, is in my telegram group and he's
always helping people in there.
Um, also I just started a passive income engines group, Boris, and I'd
love to get you in there as well.
Just talking about these things and when there's big airdrops coming up,
cause this is, um, you know, this is not for everyone.
If, if you're, if you hate technicality and you hate that technical side of
crypto, then this might be a painful for you a little bit, but if you're
looking for ways to make extra money, and like you said, you might not have
a ton of capital sitting around and you're like, well, how do I start
making some progress towards my goals?
This is a great way.
If you're willing to put in some work.
Um, that's the reason someone might ask, well, why isn't everyone
making six figures off of this?
It's because it is.
It's amazing.
Yeah, exactly.
It's so stupid.
Like, but you see, I'm only this motivated because I've already made
decent amount of money and how, like, cause I've seen the results of my labor.
You know, if only people could see the results before they had the results,
then everybody would do this, but they don't, they are, they're trusting some
Boris from creation country, but they're trusting someone on the internet.
How, how can they trust me?
Well, you can't, but you can try and see for yourself, you know?
Okay.
They trust you obviously, but you know,
yep, absolutely.
All right.
So we do have some few questions.
Let's bring some of these up.
Um, sometimes there are scam airdrops.
What should someone do to be careful?
How do you check if it's a scam airdrop or how do you be careful about that?
Yeah.
So basically the most important thing you can do is always
go from the official Twitter.
So when, first ask people in the community, like what's real, what's not,
like what's actually an airdrop, what isn't, because every day there's going
to be like 50 messages and stuff saying, Oh, look, Starknet is airdropping.
Oh, look, there's a token claim, but then they take you to a scam site.
You always go to the official Twitter website of the project.
You read through the news.
And if there's an actually an airdrop happening, it's going to
be in a pinned tweet on Twitter.
So you don't need to go so deep, but also the best way to learn to actually
know for sure is also ask people.
Because I remember when Arbitrum came in 10 minutes, I had six DMs, like
dude, Arbitrum is here, dude, Arbitrum is here, dude, Arbitrum finally came.
So when you're connected, then you will know, trust me, when
an airdrop happens, you will know.
But the problem is with these smaller ones, like I mean, Pythea, Celestia,
like I, I will find out about them eventually, but just differentiate
from scam airdrops and real airdrops with talking with people and seeing
the official Twitter and being a part of the official discord, because they
will always announce it when it's real.
So if you, if some, if you think that the airdrop is real, go to the official
sites and actually verify.
That's the easiest and most basic, straightforward way to notice.
That's smart.
Yeah.
There's a big, you know, if there's a big airdrop announced from a project and
then you go to their Twitter page and there's nothing about it on there,
then just be careful about it.
Okay.
It's like, if they were doing a big airdrop like that, they would announce it.
Um, and you know, be careful.
Telegram DMs are not the right place to look for airdrops.
Be careful of discord DM, any DMs that you're getting.
Just be, be cautious of those.
Okay.
Go look at the official Twitter page.
Um, you know, hop in telegram and ask Boris say, Hey Boris, I just heard about
this one, is this legit?
And we can help look for you too.
Um, so yeah, you want to be cautious there.
Um, and obviously if they're asking, send us your, your private seed and
then we'll give you an airdrop.
You know, some of those things you, you got to learn how to spot those scams.
So, um, let's see, another good point is that even going for airdrops and not
getting them could qualify you for others in the process.
Python were retro airdrops.
Exactly.
Like, uh, just for activity, just for doing stuff on chain, like most of the
crypto James, most of the crypto users today, they just use like centralized
exchanges, like Binance Coinbase and that kind of stuff.
Like if you just send funds to metamask, just play around and change.
It's like explore DeFi protocols.
I call it having fun because every day you get to learn something new.
It's so fun.
Like you, I was doing wormhole the other day, because it's
like a layer zero competitor.
And they asked me when I was sending funds from Coinbase, like from base layer
two to, uh, to Solana, there's no route.
You had to make a new, new deposit address there.
And I was like, what, what did I just bridge?
So I sent like a couple of dollars to Solana through one bridge.
It's crazy.
Like, it's so fun because then you made a new account and then this, these funds
came and then you go to Explorer, like to Solana scan, Sol scan.
And it's so fun.
I enjoy exploring things, you know, like if you're an Explorer at heart, then
this will be so much fun for you.
If you just want to make a lot of money, that's fine, but you're going to be
doing this for a long time, maybe before the first five figures, you know?
So you kind of need to find ways to enjoy the process as well.
Try to have fun along the way as well.
You know, I just do, do different stuff.
Be careful.
Don't, don't fall for scams.
Like even I get rug pulled a couple of times, a couple of projects
that I put money in, they rug pulled.
I don't care.
It was less than a hundred dollars, but you know, you have to be managerious.
Like don't put everything on one wallet and then you get wrecked.
You know, you have to be careful.
So just be mindful.
Okay.
And have you ever made any big mistakes attempting an airdrop?
Well, when Arbitrum came, I almost went to a phishing site because I did not know
that their discord is not really active because I think discord is like a Holy
Grail, you know, like you don't mess with person's discord, you know, but
there was a scammer in the discord.
So I went to a phishing site and it was like, I checked the URL, URL was fine,
but the website was so bad.
And before I connected my wallet, I was like, this doesn't seem right.
I disconnected my wallet quickly and it was this close, you know, like, Oh my God.
Um, but yeah, like, you know, on ZK sync, for example, this summer, I put some
money in on-chain trade and other projects and then the website doesn't load.
So just be prepared to lose a couple of dollars here and there.
If you're doing like a lot of wallets and a lot of projects and a lot of blockchains,
just be prepared and spread your risk accordingly, just like you
would manage your portfolio.
This is the same way you manage your portfolio of projects that you're
farming.
Um, so yeah, that's kind of important.
And when you're doing many wallets, you cannot allow yourself to do everything
the same because obviously it will be a symbol and you can never send funds
between your wallets because if you send funds between your wallets, then they
will become connected and then you will not get an airdrop.
Like I had a buddy who was doing over 50 wallets and he spent like maybe a
thousand dollars on all of that, which is a lot.
Normally you spend a hundred, 150.
He spent a lot of money, a lot of time and he sent funds between wallets and he
was disqualified.
So that's horrible.
That's so bad.
Like don't, don't send funds between wallets.
There are ways to do that.
We will teach you just.
Yeah, that's what, uh, Odin Odin said.
Next.
He said, uh, avoid Sybil, avoid linking wallets and use a VPN.
Do you want to talk about, you just talked about linking wallets.
Be careful with that.
But you want to talk about VPNs.
Yeah.
So what I said, never link wallets, never send funds between each other.
And VPN is if you're in crypto and you don't have a VPN get out, you need a VPN
crypto, like always, like $3 a month or something for Nord James, you have a
Nord partners link or something, right?
I do somewhere.
Let me, let me find that.
I'm sure I do.
People can use yours or whoever's or they don't, I don't care.
But like you get 70% off with partners link apparently.
So, and you get some free months guys, you need VPN because it's your privacy.
And if you don't use it, it's easier to eat for you to get
detected using multiple walls.
If you're just going to use five wallets, who cares?
But when you use double digit wallets, then you kind of need to be careful.
Yeah.
And to your point, just kind of the nature of crypto, it's usually best to have a
VPN, especially if you're doing anything on public wifi or anything like that.
Um, so yeah, I'll get a link to Nord here.
That's the one I use.
Um, and if you guys aren't familiar with, uh, yeah, if you're not familiar with
VPN, um, it's pretty easy.
It basically is just routing your internet through another, um, server
in another country, usually.
Uh, it just makes it, it makes it so that it's not all traced back to your, uh,
your IP address at your home.
Um, whenever you're doing anything on the internet.
So some people use VPNs for everything they do, but especially in crypto and
especially when you're doing airdrops, um, it's good to connect.
You can see, I usually just go through Argentina or Austria
because that's the A's.
Um, but yeah, Australia for you.
Yeah.
It's just alphabetical order for me.
Let me see if I can find this here.
Um, let's go to the next question while I'm looking around here.
Yeah.
Um, Boris, are you aware of croc and what they're doing with ZK sync airdrop?
If so, what are your thoughts?
Um, this is all I know nothing about what any of that means.
I don't know what croc is.
I imagine that they're like some kind of telegram farming bot because I would not
recommend those because what they do, they systematically farm and they
don't have any randomness guys.
The difference between a human being in a bot obviously is that we can, we
have to do airdrops randomly.
These bots, they usually just buy small amounts to cover for transaction fees.
They don't really build a lot of volume.
So I don't know if this is croc, but this is a very important topic to
mention because, uh, Drake had a huge airdrop expert on his channel recently.
And him and I, we have almost identical thought processes.
He said the same thing about bots.
Like it's just not, it's not, I would not recommend it.
Like maybe it will be amazing, but I would not use telegram bots for airdrop
hunting because they just, they're not humans.
I don't have anything about machinery or robots, but it's like they cannot do
stuff randomly like we can.
And we have to do things randomly because otherwise you risk being flagged
Sybil, which is the ultimate disaster.
If you're spending so much time on something for all of it to be worth
worthless, it's just, it would suck.
So you, you have to do things yourself manually, as tedious
and boring and stupid as it is.
There's not been a good bot yet.
Someone can build it.
Yeah.
And maybe, maybe AI, maybe we can build some good bot with AI
or something, but yeah.
To, um, and basically what Boris is saying is that when you have a bot do
something, it becomes very recognizable that, Hey, this isn't random stuff.
This is something that's programmed in.
And most of the airdrops and smart contracts and things have stuff built
in to, to, and they know how to detect bots.
They say, Oh, if it's on, if it's every 60 seconds, exactly.
Then we know that's a bot.
That's not how humans work.
We don't do things every 60 seconds, but computers do.
And so, uh, yeah, most of these bots end up, even if at first the air, the smart
contracts and airdrops don't recognize them, they work in some bot recognition
that eventually detects it, and then they shut you all down and all your
work was kind of for nothing.
So I will echo that.
Yeah.
So do as many wallets as you can.
If you just want to do one fine, but one great idea is just focus on the
horizontal, not vertical, because if you just do one wallet, you will get more.
Like you will get four times more, maybe a location, but you
will not get as much total.
Because for example, my main wallet got like over 2000 arbitrum, but the others,
but it took me like 50 hours to get these 2000, but all the others, they spent
maybe like one hour on them and they only got like three times less than the main one.
So the proportion of time invested is just not worth it.
It's just much better to go wide than to go deep, you know, so that's just a small
trick that you can learn as an advanced airdrop user later, you know, if you're
still just beginning, focus on figuring DeFi out and following the steps that
people have literally put you step-by-step things to do.
Like it doesn't get simpler than that.
And then when you get stuck or you have questions, just ask.
So, okay.
Very good.
Um, quarter mile, I'd like to know, is this reliable long-term
income or just limited time?
No, no.
I highly doubt it because once people in 2024 figure out how much money is being
thrown around everywhere, like it's just not going to work.
Like everybody knows that people are using 20, 20, 30 wallets for one person.
So they're going to either implement some kind of KYC, God forbid, or some
kind of proof of humanity so that you cannot farm with 50 wallets like people
are doing now.
So no, I think in 2024 is the most that we can expect of to make
serious money in airdrops.
After that, you just, you have to do something else.
But the great thing is that while you're doing this, you
learn so much about crypto.
Like this, I've learned so much about everything just from doing this.
Like it's beautiful because like you get offers from firms and
companies just, just like that.
Like you get, you become so employable in web three sector from doing this, that
this is something people don't talk about.
People always talk about, Oh, I made five, six figures in airdrops.
Oh, great.
But how much you learn, that's the real, no, that's the real beauty of it.
That's the real, real price kind of long-term price.
You know, I'm sure you make some money now along the way, but
stuff you learn about crypto, Oh my God.
About liquidity provision, about all different blockchains, the
consensus mechanisms of all of them and how they are interchanging.
Oh, it's beautiful.
But again, go step by step, you know, everything happens in phases.
Yep.
But the by-product is a lot of knowledge.
And Odin says also use a smart contract checker browser add-on and don't keep
tons of money on your airdrop wallets.
That's probably, that's probably good advice as well.
Absolutely.
You never know which can scam you.
So like as safe as we are, you always have to be careful with these things.
Like you never know.
Yeah.
I've kind of learned don't leave any on any hot wallets.
Don't leave a significant amount of funds because you just like there was an
exploit in third web NFTs, every NFT that was built on third web had an
exploit in it.
And so I just, I've learned in, in the space, don't leave a lot of money on hot
wallets.
So my Bitcoin's all sitting on a cold wallet, not connected to the internet in
any way.
Um, I'm not, and uh, yeah, that's the way I'm doing it.
That's what it should be.
Yeah.
All right.
What do you think the average airdrop gains could be in 2024 starting with five
to 10 K of capital?
Dude, if you do things right, obviously never financial advice, but six, six
figures is easy for five to 10 K capital.
That's so much money.
Most people who start with airdrops, like I didn't even start on zero.
I started seven, eight K in debt.
So if you have five to 10 K already now, if you do the right things and you
allocate it properly, like Solana injected sui, maybe a little bit of
start net, dude, like do things the right way.
Low six figures are yours.
Very, very likely.
Nothing is guaranteed, but you really can make a lot of money in this.
Just, you know, you need to be focused and consistent.
You probably won't see results for real results in first couple months, but once
the ball starts rolling, it just, it just doesn't stop, man.
Like you, it's, it's, it's nice.
Let me just tell you.
It's nice.
Gotcha.
Um, he says, how much time per day do you recommend spending playing around?
Also, how much per day are you spending playing around?
So normally people like what miles always recommends.
If you have a really busy schedule, the best thing to do is you have, you'd set
out one hour in a week, one or two hours in a week, you do all the stuff on your
accounts and you're done for the week.
He also says, Oh, put on some music.
No music distracts, but yeah, you need one to two hours a week, minimum or per
month, but I recommend per week.
And he does as well.
Just do all the steps that are so simple to do and randomize them a little.
If you have more time, I would recommend doing more wallets, do multiple projects,
but focus on Solana and Injective right now because, and Cosmos, those are the
three that are really, really exploding right now.
But me personally, I do this full time.
So I spend eight to 12 hour a day on average, just doing this all the time
because there's just nothing else better in crypto right now.
Like I'm one day, um, I, a lot of people ask me how to do this.
And at one point I was just like answering messages all day.
And at one point I was just like, dude, my hour is 40 euro.
Do you want to pay this?
And he was like, yes.
Okay.
Then let's talk, but you know, like you really need to say no to a lot of
things that are not making you enough money, you know, like if you're making
less than 40 euro an hour, then just don't do that, do this, you know?
So, yeah.
Love it.
Okay.
Very good.
Um, in general, uh, is a lot of money required to work in airdrops
is $500 enough to get started with?
So depends how much money you have.
If you have a couple of thousand, then you can fund your wallets or with
seven to $800, and then you can go from there.
If you have only a couple of hundred, then just do one or two wallets, but do
it with volume so you don't actually get flagged as a symbol because you
need to have volume these days.
Uh, for a lot of people will tell you a lot of different things.
The bare minimum for per account is a hundred to a hundred dollars, because
you need to have at least 50 to 60 to $200 in volume.
So to make any significant numbers, you know, like who's going to give you
an airdrop if you've got 10, 20, $30 transactions that's before
you could get away with it.
Like I did like that with Arbitrum, but I think projects are getting more
advanced and you're going to need to have more volume.
Maverick was like that.
Many projects just ask for a lot of volume these days.
So fund your wallets with $300, $400.
That would be my recommendation.
And then you're set for a couple of months.
That should be okay.
If you only have a hundred or $200, just make more money.
And then
join passive income engines and find a way to make a little more money
and then we can get it in airdrops.
Um, and then both says he blessed everyone in your airdrop journey.
Thank you, Bo.
Appreciate you being here.
Um, and maybe we'll, we'll end with this question unless anybody has any more.
Um, but do I need to have a different country VPN or each wallet
that is recommended?
Yeah, that is very recommended because obviously you want to
diversify your everything.
Basically you want to be, you want to have as many random operations as
possible, different countries and everything.
Some people even have dedicated proxies, but those are very pricey.
I don't think that they're necessary.
If you want to take extra careful, cautious steps, sure you can, but you
can just use a different country.
I highly believe that's more than enough.
Yeah.
And it's honestly, it's just a click.
Like it's very easy.
You just, okay, now I'm going to go to Luxembourg and connect.
Well, I can't do it right now or else it'll disconnect me from the call,
but, um, it's pretty easy.
You just click and then it'll just connect you.
So it's very easy.
So just to, yeah, if you're doing multiple wallets, um, just click, okay,
I'm going to do this one from, and you know, and pick, pick countries too.
I recommend that.
Like I personally, I wouldn't use the United States or the United Kingdom,
but you know, some of these other countries might not matter that much,
but you know, I always go for,
Oh, it matters.
Okay.
Crypto friendly countries.
You want to go to crypto friendly countries, US, UK.
No.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
So if you want to wrap up, um, I would, I would use this as a closing thoughts.
Okay.
The sooner you start, the better.
I missed Jita airdrop.
I missed like 17 K cause I started a couple of days too late.
They took snapshot on November 25th.
It's crazy.
And I started like November 28, 29.
So yeah, start as soon as possible.
Go to the Twitter channels and YouTube channels.
And ideally our discord to talk with people who know what they're doing.
It will just save you so much time.
You have no idea how much time it will save you.
And basically follow the steps, do the steps, watch the videos.
But as you're watching the video, do the steps along the way.
Don't watch the video and say, I'll do it later.
No, when you're watching the video, do the steps and then you will learn the
fastest, that's how I learned.
That's how most of this line.
And then when you get stuck, you ask questions.
So yeah.
Uh, make sure to start as soon as possible.
Fund your wallets.
Don't send funds between wallets.
Please be careful about this and, uh, just stay active and follow the channels.
Talk to people.
And, uh, once you get your first airdrop, like when you make your first four or
five figures, then you will understand why you spend so much time in front of the
screen.
Then you will get rocket fuel to go and just keep adding zeros to your account.
Well, like, you know, you know what I mean?
Yeah.
Well, and I will, I will say when you get that first one, that's what really
motivates you.
Okay.
Now I can really put in some work for it.
Cause you kind of, some of you listening or right now are probably even thinking,
oh yeah, right.
This isn't gonna, this works for Boris.
It's not going to work for me.
And it's really, when you get that first one, um, that's when you're like, wait a
second.
Okay.
I just went through the steps.
I got my airdrop.
I can do this.
Um, and, uh, so yeah, that'll, that'll rocket charge it.
Like you said.
Um, so calls to action.
Here's the cryptocurrency state.net subscriptions.
Um, you can also, if you, uh, Boris is in our telegram group and Boris, I
appreciate you being in there just talking.
I'm also going to try to get you, we'll talk about this off air.
I'm going to try to get you into passive income engines, which is a new group I
created just to help people make passive income.
And I'd love to get you in there in some way as a coach or something, telling my
group about these airdrops and stuff, because I think it's a great way for
people to make money.
And it's, it's honestly a lot lower risk than a lot of things.
So I'd love to get you in there as well.
Awesome.
Well, Hey, I appreciate you audience.
Thank you guys for showing up.
It's very interesting topic and you guys had great questions.
Appreciate you being here.
Um, and Boris appreciate everything that you do.
And I appreciate you just keep poking at me for certain things too.
Like, Hey, make sure you do this one of these days, one of these days you might
listen and then we'll both celebrate together.
But for now, I know sometimes you ask, you did this right.
And I'm like afraid to answer.
Like, no, I didn't do that, Boris.
I'm so sorry.
But no, we all learn one of these days, one of these days.
So appreciate you very much, man.
And I hope you, uh, hope you all have a great rest of the day.
Let's take care.
