Iran has issued one of its strongest warnings yet to the United States after President Donald Trump said American forces would be hitting Iran's alleged Pickaxe Mountain nuclear site "pretty soon." In a strongly worded statement, Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that any U.S. attack on the country's nuclear facilities or other sensitive sites would be considered an expansion of the regional war. The Iranian military command declared that all U.S. interests, as well as those of Washington's allies and supporters, would become targets of "powerful retaliatory attacks" if such strikes were carried out.
Iran has issued a severe warning to the U.S., threatening to target American interests and allies across the region if its nuclear sites are attacked. This follows President Trump's threats to strike the fortified Pickax Mountain facility. Meanwhile, President Pazeshkian has attempted to project stability amid rumors regarding the whereabouts of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.

Iran has issued one of its strongest nuclear warnings yet to the United States amid tit-for-tat
strikes. This after U.S. President Donald Trump said American forces would be hitting the Pickax
Mountain area pretty soon, Iran's top joint military command issued a stern warning.
The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Iran's top operational command and coordination center
for the country's armed forces, threatened to target the interests of the United States
and its allies in the region if Tehran's nuclear sites come under attack.
In a statement, Iran's military headquarters said the criminal United States has threatened
to attack the nuclear facilities and other sensitive sites of the Islamic Republic.
The statement portrayed the alleged threats as a serious escalation
and warned that any such military action would carry significant consequences.
The statement further declared that if the United States proceeds with strikes on Iran's
nuclear facilities or other sensitive sites, Tehran would interpret the move as an expansion
of the ongoing conflict across the region. Iranian authorities said such an action would
no longer be viewed as an isolated military operation, but as a broader regional war
involving multiple actors. Iran also issued a direct warning regarding potential retaliation.
The statement said that all interests of the United States, as well as those of its allies
and countries supporting Washington, would become legitimate targets for retaliatory military action.
It warned that the Iranian armed forces would launch what it described as
powerful retaliatory attacks if the alleged threats were carried out.
While the statement did not specify particular targets or outline the nature of any potential
response, it signaled that Iran believes the consequences would extend well beyond its borders.
The warning underscores Iran's position that any attack on its territory
could dramatically alter the security landscape across the Middle East.
Notably, Iranian forces have been attacking U.S. allies in the region in response to
CENTCOM strikes on Iranian territory, marking a renewed round of escalation.
On July 21, Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain reported intercepting Iranian drones and missiles.
Bahrain activated warning sirens several times as security forces responded to incoming threats.
Iran's Revolutionary Guards said they had targeted what they described as U.S.
military assets in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Iran's chilling warning came after Trump said,
during a meeting with his Lebanese counterpart, Michel Aoun,
that the United States would target Iran's Pickax Mountain nuclear site pretty soon.
Well, I think that they may have — we don't have it on record.
All we do is read the fake news. You know, we — you know, maybe this one they have right.
But it's okay. It doesn't mean anything unless they have the material. You're talking about
the centrifuges? Yeah, it doesn't mean anything unless they have the material. They don't have
— we follow the material. That's where the action is. And we'll be hitting that area very
probably pretty soon. And there's not a thing they can do about it. You know, normally,
I wouldn't say that. If I thought they could do something about it, I would never say that. But
we'll be hitting that area pretty soon and very heavily.
Pickax Mountain is believed to be a heavily fortified nuclear site
and one of Iran's most important uranium enrichment locations. It is located about
220 kilometers south of Tehran and around two kilometers from the Natanz nuclear complex.
The Natanz site, where two of Iran's uranium enrichment plants are located,
was bombed during the conflict that began with U.S. and Israeli strikes on February 28,
as well as last year's 12-day war.
The tunnel facility under construction beneath Pickax Mountain was not targeted in either
conflict, according to the Institute for Science and International Security, ISIS,
a U.S.-based think tank focused on nuclear nonproliferation. According to Western intelligence
agencies, the mountain is believed to conceal an undeclared uranium enrichment facility built
deep underground. Analysts say the site is heavily fortified and designed to withstand
conventional airstrikes. Although Iran has not acknowledged the existence of such a facility,
the location has remained under close scrutiny because
of concerns that it could support Tehran's nuclear ambitions.
Notably, this was not the first time Trump has issued such a threat. He has repeatedly
threatened to strike Pickax Mountain since the conflict with Iran intensified two weeks ago.
So far, U.S. forces have primarily targeted coastal surveillance assets,
missile and drone launch sites, command centers and air defense systems along the Iranian coastline
and in other parts of the country. Responding to one such threat earlier this month,
Iranian President Massoud Pazeshkian described the remarks as disrespectful
and said they were only worthy of those making them, not the Iranian nation.
Fresh questions are once again swirling over Iran's supreme leader.
Iranian President Massoud Pazeshkian has revealed that he is now in increasing communication with
Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, a statement that comes amid intense speculation over the
leader's whereabouts. Speaking at Iran's National Industry and Mining Day ceremony,
Pazeshkian said the level of communication with the Supreme Leader has been growing every day.
He added that government decisions are now being organized according to the
We need the support of the Supreme Leader, Pazeshkian declared.
We will continue the path with strength, he said,
portraying the leadership as united despite mounting regional tensions.
The remarks are significant because they come just days after dramatic reports claimed that
Mojtaba Khamenei was not even inside Iran. The reports triggered widespread speculation over
whether the country's top leadership had quietly relocated amid growing security concerns.
Saudi broadcaster Al-Hadath, citing an Israeli security source,
claimed that Mojtaba Khamenei was outside Iran. The report offered no evidence,
and Iranian authorities have not publicly addressed the claim.
The speculation intensified because Mojtaba Khamenei has remained largely out of public
view since assuming Iran's highest office following the assassination of his father,
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on February 28. Since then, he has communicated only through
written statements and has not made a public appearance. Last week, Mojtaba Khamenei warned
the United States of what he called unforgettable lessons if it continued attacks on Iran.
At the same time, the repeated violations of promises by the great Satan regarding
the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the presidents of Iran and the United States
once again demonstrated to everyone how worthless and untrustworthy the signature
of the American president is, and that aggression, dominance, and brutality are
inseparable components of the American character. Today, the great Satan once again revealed its
true and unmasked face, and this dark experience of crime and unfaithfulness serves as yet another
irrefutable piece of evidence of America's deceitfulness, irrationality, unreliability,
and wickedness. Now that the American enemy is seeking to escalate conflict and bear even
heavier costs and greater disgrace, it should know that the dear Iranian nation
and the resistance front have unforgettable lessons for it.
