Video Summary
AI GeneratedWhile filming projects for outdoor brands in Chamonix, the narrator encountered a group of goats during a via ferrata climb in Passy. Initially intimidated by the possibility of being rammed off the mountain, the narrator discovered the goat was actually friendly and interested in licking the salt from their sweaty legs, resulting in a wholesome moment captured on video for his wife.
I was a little bit intimidated that the goat was going to come over and
kind of ram me off the mountain.
I was out shooting in Chamonix, several projects for
some running brands and some general outdoor brands out in the mountains.
After a day's shooting we went out to climb a ferrata
in Passy, an area just outside of Chamonix Valley.
It was our second climb of the day, halfway through it.
Arms were getting a little bit pumped and tired and we saw these goats coming
around the corner. At the time that I saw them they were
kind of level with me, level with my head height
and my climbing partner was just above me so I couldn't move up.
So at first I was a little bit intimidated that the goat was going to
come over and kind of ram me off the mountain.
Excuse me, have you got a reservation at this restaurant?
Not what you need mid-climb.
Once I climbed up a little bit and she came over, she was very friendly
and started licking the salt from my sweaty legs.
Okay I gotta go climbing now, bye.
I didn't think too much about taking the video at the time, I just wanted
something to send my wife back home because I thought she'd think it was
funny, give us a sweet moment out in the
mountains. It's just a nice little wholesome interaction.
