Good morning, good afternoon, good evening from wherever you are watching this video.
Welcome to the Backyard Bounty Garden channel.
Today is the 7th of July, 2026.
Yesterday, I just want to give you a little update and also just show you some sweet surprises that started happening in this garden.
Oh God, God is good.
So yesterday I was so busy, I didn't get time to water.
I've been watering my plants every single day, mainly in the evenings, once in a while in the morning hours.
Because the sun just rises up so fast and gets hot so quickly.
But in the evening, once it goes down, it cools down.
So it gives me more time to, you know, do the watering.
So I came this morning because I didn't water last night and I thought, no, I have to, you know, water.
Then I come here and then look, guys, look, guys, you know, I told you that tomatoes.
OK, when it comes to growing, it is kind of, it doesn't really like the heat too much.
The leaves just start wiltering.
But when it comes to ripening, I think because the sun, the heat has been too much, these tomatoes have started just ripening.
And yet I feel like they haven't really produced much fruits, as you can see.
The ones that came first, they are not waiting.
So this one, one lovely surprise is looking healthy.
Yeah, the rest are still, you know, they're still going on.
These big, big ones, deep tomatoes, they're also still here.
They haven't started ripening.
You know, maturity needs to take place.
You can't just ripen anyhow, you know.
And then, but these ones, look, and this is another one here.
You know, this thing can just happen within 24, 48 hours.
You see things happening, guys.
And this is one of the most exciting part of this journey.
You know, it's just exciting.
And then let me go to the other side.
You know, look, I don't know whether you can see.
There, there, you know, it's starting ripening.
So I believe in the next one week, hey, the garden is going to be so colorful.
Very, very, very, very colorful, you know.
And the potatoes, the potatoes, when you see them now yellowing, the leaves are yellowing.
Because these are the first ones that I, they were the very first ones that I planted.
And they are actually beginning to show that they are also almost ready for harvest.
You see, because the color of the leaves have started changing as well.
So it's all, all good, guys.
All, all good.
And the carrot that was struggling at the beginning have taken up.
Hey, look.
I don't know the size of carrot I'm going to get from down there, but it's looking good.
Looking good.
Aubergine also.
Let me see, guys.
That's a big one now.
The other day I showed you it was small.
And now, look, you know.
So I'm grateful.
There's another small one there.
Aubergine.
If you can see.
Yeah, right there.
This one here hasn't started, but the flowers are all there.
Yeah.
And then these tomatoes that I planted later on.
Today I'm actually going to top up the soil.
Because the soil is little down there.
And you can see they are growing very big.
So if the wind starts blowing hard, they may suffer.
So, yes.
And these ones here in their small, small containers.
You know, they're happy.
They're happy.
I know the sun is hot, but they are actually drying.
Now look at this one that's already started flowering in its small stage.
It has started flowering already.
But you know what? Let it do what it wants to do.
That's okay with me.
Yeah.
And then the bell peppers.
I also need to top up the soil a little bit because they are not enough.
Because as they grow, they get taller and taller.
And then the problem is when the wind blows hard, you can beat them down.
So I need to add some more soil there.
See, bell peppers are doing great.
They're doing well.
They're so green.
As you can see.
Yeah.
This is really good.
