‘Searching for a clear identity’: Kamala Harris overtakes Newsom for 2028

Now former women's number one tennis player Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario has lifted the lid on how her former 60 million dollar fortune vanished before her eyes. In an interview with Spanish TV Sanchez-Vicario explained her ex-husband Joseph Santacana is the reason for her demise. She said I trusted him because he was the father of my children. I fell blindly in love and he really isn't the person I thought he was. Sanchez-Vicario and Santacana went to trial in 2023 accused of hiding assets in order to avoid paying back a debt owed to the Bank of Luxembourg. She was handed a suspended two-year prison sentence and ordered to pay back over a million dollars worth of debt Kinsey. I mean this is a reminder that making millions and managing millions are two completely different skill sets and love can make people ignore some pretty aggressive red flags. But blind trust and financial oversight rarely mix well. This is a cautionary tale on several levels. Will she make that money back in a Lifetime or Netflix streaming movie about the betrayal? Perhaps she will Rita. God love her. Well I tell you she was a much loved player on the circuit. She obviously played in Australia plenty of times in the Australian Open and the fans loved her. She was very generous with the fans and this is a sad story. I mean imagine massing a fortune like that and if she's right here having the man you love squander it all. Now page six has revealed why Ellen DeGeneres was snubbed from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding in New York early this month. One former producer on the show told page six she was a regular and favorite guest but it was always just a talk show relationship. They did lots of fun stuff together but there was never a friendship beyond a professional one. Kinsey Taylor appeared on Ellen's show 19 times between 2008 and 2021. Well I don't agree with this producer. Ellen is notoriously close to the Kardashians who are hardly Taylor's favorite people. So if Taylor is working overtime to keep this wedding under wraps she's not going to invite anyone who sits one degree away from Kris Jenner and the TMZ tip line. That is not a guest list that is a potential security breach. Plus Taylor loves putting a bully in their place so I think that's ultimately what's going on here. But she was very happy to be on the bully show 19 times when it suited her because she would have heard some of the talk about what Ellen's really like when she wasn't on camera. Well Ellen bullied her. She like sat there and surprised her and made her go through a like a powerpoint presentation of all of her ex-boyfriends including some people she hadn't dated in the past too. So I mean she yeah I mean to your point she did know that Ellen was a jerk. Now you're joining us from Los Angeles and I want to get your reaction to the news that California Governor Gavin Newsom is trailing former Vice President Kamala Harris another Californian in the Democratic primary for 2028. Kinsey a lot of Democrats don't like the fact that the word salad queen who lost in a landslide remains the Democratic front runner for 2028. Yeah please send help. I don't think this says as much about Kamala Harris as it does about the Democratic Party still searching for a clear identity after 2024. Name recognition still matters enormously in early polling but 2028 is a long way off. Hopefully another candidate falls out of a coconut tree and exists in the context of all in which they live and what they came before them ish. Yes yes very good some of her favorite phrases there but I can't see that happening unless it's one of these Democratic socialists who seem to really be having such enormous influence within the party. Who else is it going to be? Is it going to be Bernie? Is it going to be Gavin? Is it going to be AOC? There are no good options there you'd be very confident if you're in the GOP that 2028 whether they go with Rubio whether they go with JD Vance are they going to win easily. Well I mean I agree with you there AOC was the first name that popped up into my mind. We know Cory Booker suspiciously found a wife recently that I'm sure would look great on his arm during a campaign a presidential campaign. So yeah I think AOC is probably gunning for it but to your point what hideous options those are. Terrible terrible now before you go let's have a quick look at comedian Will Ferrell's son Magnus. Fans are saying he's got a big future in the music industry. Kinsey what do you think? Do we need another Nepo baby on the scene? No offense to Chet Hanks but I think Magnus might be the exception that looks like Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake's baby not Will Ferrell's. I'm excited to see what he does next.
