Formula E drivers preview Tokyo E-Prix

Well, the win in Shanghai felt really good. Probably one of the best wins of my career because it's so unexpected, right? With the Lola team after a tough two years, I didn't think it was possible but we kept on pushing, we kept on trying and in Shanghai everything felt in the right place and we managed to win a race. Especially the year I said goodbye to as a driver. So, very emotional and the win itself was very good, right? We had to go from last to first. Nothing was given to us. There was no safety car, there was no pit stop that we were lucky or anything. We had actually to overtake everybody on track. So, it felt very good. But I mean, obviously, you always want more as a driver, I guess, and you're always self-critical. I mean, there is always things you can improve, which is good. But yeah, I think, all in all, it has been positive. I mean, looking at point scoring quite consistently was the aim, obviously. So, yeah, I think, all in all, we should be quite positive and happy about it. Well, obviously, it's been a really good track for me here. I think I've never started off the front row and I've never finished outside the top two. So, it's a track that I really like. I think it's technical, walls, proper street circuit. So, yeah, looking forward to getting out there and see what we can do. Look, at this stage, I'd rather be being chased. That's not the case anymore. But it's still very tight. Nine points, four races left is not a big deficit. If it was the last race of the season, it's different. But yeah, I think it's still very much on the cards. There's still quite a few guys in the fight. So, whoever can have a really strong weekend here and then go into London in good shape is going to put himself in a great position. So, I hope to be that guy or one of them. So, let's see what we got. Well, difficult, I think, four races to go, 27 points. We need to try and make some up this weekend. But you should always have the mentality that anything is possible. So, we'll keep pushing as much as we can. Obviously, it's been very fast recently and us not so much. So, we'll be pushing to see if we can improve a little bit. Look, we have to be realistic. Our hope here is to score points. If we do that, it's a job done. If we have the chance to risk for a better result, if it's rainy or if it's dry or the weather plays a part, we're going to do the best we can to get this result. But realistically, scoring points is already great for a team like Lola.
