Welcome to my 2025 Christmas house tour. I want to take you around my house and show you exactly
how I decorated, how I styled, and how I set everything up this year. First we are going to
get started right here in the entryway. I'm going to start off by showing you first the tree that I
got from Walmart. It is the My Texas House brand and I'm going to show you a little bit how I
styled and decorated it. Since this is a simple and dainty tree, I wanted to add some elegance
to it by incorporating some gold tinsel and also some glass icicle lights. One thing I also added
from this year was some glass garland and I got all of this from Amazon. Treecaller is from Hobby
Lobby and I think that it just makes a big statement immediately right when you walk in.
So next the entryway console table. I always have it set up for my nativity scene. I decided to keep
my big pot here and just tie some burgundy velvet ribbon around the pot just to tie into all of the
other burgundy decor that I have around the house which I'm about to show you. I also just added
some of these flopped stems. I got all of these stems at Amazon and all of the sticks in the back
just give it some extra hype and literally all of the sticks I got from my backyard. Next my entire
nativity set is from Sam's and I set it up in a way to where it will tell the story of Jesus's
birth which is obviously the reason why we celebrate Christmas in the first place. But I added some
garland around this nativity scene and then over here I added my picture frame that I got a ton of
these different picture frames from Etsy and I was able to customize the frame of it and also the
size of it and the picture that I chose. So I decided to incorporate that over here on the
corner and as well as add in one of my velvet Christmas trees from Hobby Lobby. I also included
my lantern and I added some twinkle lights in my lantern to light it up. And lastly I have my gold
wreath which ties in to all of the gold that I put on the tree. So at night this entryway looks
amazing and it the tree just ties into the whole scene. So now that we're done with the entryway
let's go ahead and move to the living room. So immediately when you walk in you will notice
the massive 12-foot Christmas tree that I put up. Whenever we moved into this house I was a little
bit worried if a 12-foot tree would fit but luckily it does with like just a couple inches
to spare on the roof. But this year the theme around the house was velvet burgundy bows and
every area that I decorated I made sure that I tied in a hint of that throughout the house. So
let's get started on the best part to the tree. So typically every single year I like to add and
layer tons and tons of ribbon throughout the tree. This year was the first year I decided
not to weave ribbon in and out. I wanted it to look fancy and elegant and a little bit more
simplified. So what I did was I ordered all of these crystal pieces, well they're not really
crystal they're glass, all of these glass garland pieces from Amazon and started with that as the
base. So each one of these are different pieces but I wove them together so it makes it look like
it is one long strand. Some of the pieces they have three in them and then some of them are just
single strands. Whenever the sunlight hits the tree it glows and sparkles and honestly it looks
more magical in person than I can capture in camera. Next thing that I did was I ordered 200
glass ornaments from Amazon and I hung all of those throughout the tree. I had a bunch of them
last year as well so on this 12 foot full tree there is about 250 glass icicle ornaments. They
are both icicle and they are also teardrop shaped and they are all different sizes. So I made sure
that I filled out as much of the tree as possible. I had some hanging on the end and then I made sure
that I put some deep in the tree so that you can really get that depth whenever you're looking at
it. Once I did that I decided that it looked a little bit too plain because at night this tree
glows. This is one of those viral Home Depot trees. I think it's called My Decorators or
The Decorators Warehouse something like that but this is the Grand Duchess and at night it literally
glows like it glows so much I can hardly see any of the decor on it. So I decided that I really
needed to add some more color. So I came back and next added all of my burgundy bow ornaments
and instead of putting them on the tips of the tree I added them deep in the tree. That way
hopefully the lights don't overpower it so much and again it gives it that depth. And lastly I
decided as a final touch to tie tons of burgundy velvet bows on the ends of the stems. So overall
I think that it is elegant yet super simple and I am really impressed with the way it turned out.
Next I had the mantle kind of play off of the tree. I tend to love to add tons and tons and tons
of stuff to my mantle. All different picks and all different things and this year I had to pull
back and tell myself I'm just adding a couple of bows. But what I did here was I found an inspo
pic on Pinterest. I don't know where the pic came from but it is not mine it is on Pinterest and I
put that on my screen so that as I'm decorating I could start playing around and figuring out what
I could come up with. So I do have some cedar garland that drapes down. So I started with a
few pieces of cedar garland as the base and then I had some Norfolk. I can never pronounce that
I'm sorry. So I added some Norfolk garland to help it stay fuller and then I went around with
different picks I had and I filled in all the gaps so that it really helped it give it different
leaves, different dimensions, different textures, different sizes and the greenery in itself says
enough like it's enough. So that way I didn't have to add a bunch of different ornaments and ribbon
and all different things. I just simply had the glass garland I pretty much put everywhere because
I was obsessed with it. So I added that to it but it's very simple and subtle and then I went
back and added three one-inch velvet burgundy bows to the center and then to the ends. I lastly
finished it with just adding a few simple battery-powered lights because our TV sits right
above the garland in our mantel. I don't want it to overpower with too much light whenever the TV's
on. So I decided to go with just some simple lights that way I don't have to turn them
off whenever we're watching a movie or watching TV. So I think that the garland is a little bit
non-traditional but that's what I was going for and I love the way that it turned out. So over here
on the couch I just had some burgundy pillowcases and literally they're just pillow covers. I just
filled in my original pillows with these pillow covers. Since green is typically my theme year
round I just so happen to already have the green pillows and it matched perfectly with the couch.
I also have these beautiful silver reindeer pillows. These my mom actually got for me from
Michael's probably like five years ago and they just add that extra elegance and add texture
to the couch area. So it's simple but I think that it turned out the way that it turned out
mixes and matches with the whole space around me which I love. Okay this area is probably my
absolute favorite. First off I started off by hanging all of the garland around the mirror.
That was a challenge because I only had one command cord and I was predetermined to get it
So I added all of the it's called the Norfolk garland around here and then any extra
picks that I had I stuck them in there just to make it look a little bit cooler. Then I went
and wrapped ribbon around the ornaments and then hung the burgundy ornament on the garland. Since
a lot of my garland is already full of bows and I'm doing bows down here I decided that the
ornaments looked really really good on the garland area. I also saw an inspo pic somewhere
and they did something similar and I knew that that's what I wanted to do over here.
So next can we just have a moment for my beautiful reindeer. She's probably my favorite
piece of Christmas decor that I own and she is from Arha and what I did was I created a little
candlelight collage over here and I also added some greenery around her neck. Over here it kind
of looks like the garland droops down and then it continues down the table even though those are two
different separate pieces. Then next I added a little bit of bells and I wrapped the bells with
the burgundy ribbon so that the theme will tie in to this console table as well. And also I added
some of these pine cones. Obviously you can get pine cones anywhere. Several years ago I got a bunch
of pine cones from Michael's because they were scented. I was trying to make a centerpiece and I
wanted it to smell really good. So what I did was I actually spray painted these. Kind of see that they
glisten a little bit. So I spray painted all of these ornaments just a little bit frosted just a
bit glittery and I use them in different places every year and they still smell good. This is a
picture frame that I got from Hobby Lobby and basically I also ordered some bells. I believe
these bells are from Amazon and I just wrapped the bells with burgundy ribbon and they're literally
hung behind here. So instead of having just a traditional picture I wanted to add some depth
and something different and some sort of showstopper or conversation piece around it. This
is also one of my favorite DIY pieces and I just layered it with a picture behind here. On the top
of the frame I just used two different picks just brought them together and then again I'm just
adding a velvet burgundy bow on the top to have it to kind of drape down here. So overall this is
one of my favorite areas so let me know what you think. But let's move over to the kitchen area now.
All right I don't know about y'all but cabinets and shelves are always a little bit difficult for
me to decorate. I feel like I'm putting stuff in taking things out and I keep stepping back and
being like why doesn't it all mix and you know mash together. But one of the things that I do
trying to tell a story with the pieces that you have. So basically on the very top shelf I have
the pictures of my kids which I wanted to keep there. So I just added a couple of Christmas
trees there and kept that one that shelf very simple. Next was my reindeer scene. So I added
some of my reindeers and I wanted to envision them in a forest. So I added some greenery
underneath them and then added all some Christmas trees around them so that it really does create
a scene or almost like a story. Next underneath is all of my Santa. So anything red Santa's picture
with Santa's boots with Santa over here and then throughout I just tied some candles some battery
operated candles with some burgundy bows around and then on the bottom is my train station. So I
basically have Santa. I have some books underneath to give my items some height and then I have my
train station over here my train Christmas globe as well as train pictures and anything kind of
extra on the bottom. So if you struggle a little bit with styling shelves just think of how you can
create different scenes and tell stories with the items that you have. I also have my Santa picture
over here. I have Christmas picture on the other side. Again these were items that I purchased from
Etsy and what I liked about these purchases was that you can customize the frame that you want
as well as the size and the picture that you want. So I have those on either side of this hutch.
All right moving on to my table centerpiece. So I have three young kids so I have to be very
practical around what I create over here. So I have this big tray that I typically decorate on
and then if I need to move this down then I typically do while we eat and then I can easily
move it back and that way it keeps the centerpiece safe all year round. So what I wanted to do here
was tie into my deers that I have around the house and create a deer scenery over here.
So what I did was I just added some pigs as the base and then I added my two gold reindeers that
are from Hobby Lobby and then I tied in some more of those glittery pine cones and then to top it
off I just added some bows to their necks so that the theme of the burgundy bows also ties in over
here. One of my favorite things is this beautiful snow globe that was a gift so I kind of put this
snow globe just as a centerpiece as well. On either side of the kitchen I popped up these pencil
flocked Christmas trees. They're seven foot Christmas trees and I actually put them in
planter pots so they're not in their traditional tree skirt or tree collar and it makes it look
like they're real plants and when the holidays are over I just take them out and then I do put
a real plant in there. So I feel like they fit nicely on the sides and they kind of cover anything
I have on the corners in the kitchen but I decided to decorate these trees with some velvet burgundy
ribbon and some gold ribbon. So moving on to the kitchen I was able to style all of the cabinets
at the top. Though I do like symmetry like having similar things on each shelf on each side but I
also like to mix and match the themes. So in the first two cabinets closest to the vent here I have
a collage of three trees and those are identical. In the next cabinet I decided I was going to go
with reindeers but instead of having them too matchy-matchy I have an actual reindeer and then
in this side I have just a picture of a reindeer and then next to that I have Santa because Santa
needs to ride his reindeer obviously. So I was thinking what can I pair with a reindeer
that makes sense and also tells a story or it creates a scene. And then on the other side I
again went with more Christmas trees and then on the very end I have the three wise men then I have
an extra Santa with a Christmas tree. So in the kids playroom this is our final tree they like
colored lights they like playful they like candy. So we have a candy themed tree and we just do
simple decor over here. I put put some stuff up and then they also get a chance to put some stuff
up. They keep the colored lights on 99% of the time and it's just something for them to have fun
with. This tree is also Home Depot's Home Decorators tree in the Grand Duchess. It is just in a seven
foot and the cool thing about those is that you can change the light features. So you can either
do colored or you can do white and you can have them do a bunch of different things. But thank you
guys so much for coming to my home tour. I know that I typically do tons of different videos of
