Aman is expanding its ultra-luxury hospitality to the ocean with the launch of Aman Gadi in May 2027. This intimate yacht, designed for only 94 guests, blends the serenity of an Aman resort with small-ship cruising. Starting in the Mediterranean and moving to the Caribbean, it offers an unparalleled level of wellness, dining, and personalized service at sea.
Hey everyone, Jerzy Posner here with Up Close Travel,
getting you up close
with the world's most incredible destinations.
Today, we're gonna get up close with Amman at sea.
Before we start, if you have any questions,
I'm always there on contact at any time,
and I am a preferred partner with Amman,
so we can get you some extra added preferred partner benefits.
So most of you know that Amman
is one of the most luxurious hotels around the world.
Well, now they're taking it to the seas,
and they start sailing next May, 2027,
and they are sure to be the pinnacle of ultra luxury,
small ship cruising, small ship yachting
all over the world.
Today, we're gonna take a look at who they are,
who they are for,
and as always, if you have any questions,
you can contact me any time.
But for now, let's take a look at Amman at sea.
This is Amman Gadi,
Amman's very first yacht setting sail in spring 2027.
The name means peaceful motion in Sanskrit,
and that's exactly the idea.
All the calm and space of an Amman resort
now floating on the water.
It's intimate by design,
just 94 guests across 47 suites,
and every single suite opens
onto its very own private terrace.
Nine decks with that clean, serene Amman look throughout.
At its heart is the largest spot in luxury yachting.
It's a two-story wellness retreat
with a Japanese serenity garden
and ocean-facing treatment rooms.
Amman Gadi debuts in the Mediterranean next May, 2027.
Then it heads to the Caribbean later that year.
Basically, an Amman resort that moves.
We're gonna explore the yacht first.
We'll look at the pools, the marina, the restaurants,
bars and lounges, the spa, and more,
and we'll save the suites for the end.
Then we'll cover what's included in your rate,
so stick around for that.
We'll start outside.
Aft on deck six is the main pool,
a 16-meter infinity pool
that seems to spill right into the ocean,
framed by shaded loungers, daybeds, and private cabanas.
But it's more than just a pool.
It's the social heart of the ship by day.
Right alongside it, you've got the pool bar
for a chilled glass of wine or a light bite,
gelato for ice-cold treats in the sun,
and you've got Alira,
the open-air Mediterranean restaurant just steps away.
Down on deck three is the marina,
where Amman Gadi meets the sea.
Floating platforms fold out right into the water,
turning the back of the yacht
into your own private beach club.
This is gonna be where the adventure happens.
You've got jet ski seabobs, electric surfboards,
kayaks, and paddleboards,
all ready to go the moment you step off.
Picture kayaking the Blue Lagoon of the Adriatic,
paddleboarding the quiet coves of the Amalfi Coast,
or just floating in the calm of the Greek Isles.
And for the easygoing days,
there's a floating trampoline, snorkeling gear,
and even a battery-powered dive system
to explore what's below.
And getting offshore is part of the experience also.
Amman Gadi carries a fleet of six elegant tenders,
including air-conditioned limousine boats
with their own bar and bathroom.
Now let's take a look at the dining options on board.
Amman Gadi has four restaurants.
Each one tells a different story.
The heart of it is Alira.
This is the all-day Mediterranean spot, open air.
The menus will change daily based on the ports
that you're gonna sail through.
Then there's Akari,
which is Amman's signature Japanese restaurant
with its own sake bar alongside.
For something more theatrical,
Hiyori is the tapenaki room,
where each course unfolds right in front of you,
from sushi and miso through wagyu,
right to the closing ceremony.
And finally, the Amman Grill,
built around aged meats, whole fish, and cocktails.
Four venues, one philosophy,
fresh, seasonal, and rooted in both land and sea.
And when dinner winds down,
the night is just getting started,
Amman Gadi comes alive.
At the center of it is the Jazz Club,
inspired by Amman, New York,
with live music and a terrace
that opens right into the night.
For something quieter, there's the Cigar Lounge,
a member's club feel with a humidor and rare spirits.
And the bars are everywhere you'd want them to be.
Artisanal Sake at the Sake Bar,
barrel-aged whiskeys at the Amman Grill,
and down by the water, the Solora Lounge,
where the marina meets the sea,
a relaxed spot for a drink and a bite between adventures.
There's also a private cinema and screening room
with 12 reclining seats for intimate film nights.
If Amman is famous for one thing, it's wellness,
and Amman Gadi, the spot, is not an afterthought.
It is the heart of the ship,
and it's the largest spot in Luxury Yachting,
a two-story Japanese serenity garden
with eight ocean-facing treatment suites,
each with its own private terrace and whirlpool bath.
Treatments are built around four pillars,
nutrition, movement, psychological health,
and body work, with a medispa on board
for more advanced science-backed therapies.
Then comes the Thermal Rituals,
a traditional banya and hammam
designed for slow, restorative heat.
And for everyday rituals,
the Beauty Lounge handles everything
from facials to hairstyling.
This is wellness on a scale
you simply won't find anywhere else at sea.
And finally, where you'll actually stay.
So Amman Gadi has just 47 suites.
Each one of them is inspired by warm timber tones,
floor-to-ceiling windows, ceilings of up to eight feet,
and a private terrace in every single room.
There are five categories to choose from.
The Deluxe Suite, open-plan living
around 650 to 700 square feet,
and the Premier Suite, a little more room
at 670 to 780 square feet.
The Signature Suite, roughly 870 to 920 square feet.
The Grand Suite, two spacious rooms,
about 1,100 square feet,
with a sweeping, bow-facing terrace.
And at the very top, the Amman Suite,
this is the Signature Residence,
a staggering 3,800 square feet,
with its own en-suite massage room
and a private whirlpool on the terrace.
Every suite comes with a personal suite host,
Starlink Wi-Fi, a stocked beverage center,
and daily en-suite breakfasts on request.
But that's a whole video on its own.
I'm taking you inside every single suite next.
It's gonna drop in the next couple of days or so.
So if you're watching this when it's out,
I'll have it linked right here in the video for you.
There's also a boutique on board
offering timeless pieces, thoughtful essentials,
and objects chosen to complement life on board and beyond.
So now let's talk a little bit
about what is included in your rate,
and it's quite a lot.
So your suite comes with a personal suite host,
twice-daily housekeeping, laundry and turndown,
all-day dining in Alira, and gelato as much as you want,
along with en-suite breakfast, light bites,
and non-alcoholic drinks and beer.
You also get the fitness studio, the marina,
and all its water toys, the pool, the cinema,
onboard entertainment, the Wi-Fi,
and even gratuities are covered.
What's extra?
Cocktails and wine, the three specialty restaurants,
Amman Grill, Akari, and Biore, spa and beauty treatments,
the boutiques, and your shore excursions.
So that's your first look inside Amman Gadi.
The ship has so much going on
that I'm gonna break it into pieces.
The suites are coming up next, the itineraries after that,
and I'll keep you updated as more details get released
ahead of our 2027 launch.
