Hello, game.
Game start.
Ah, pata, pata.
Can't feel, oh, oh.
Sleep tomorrow, but tonight go crazy.
All you gotta do is just meet me at the ah, pata, pata.
But it's whatever, it's whatever you like.
Turn this appetite into a club.
I'm talking drink, dance, smoke, freak, party all night.
Make them, make them, what's up?
Oh, oh, oh.
Don't you know me, baby?
Don't you need me like I need you now?
Sleep tomorrow, but tonight go crazy.
All you gotta do is just meet me at the ah, pata, pata.
Ah, pata, pata.
You know the game.
Are you ready?
Because I'm coming to you, baby.
Don't you need me like I need you now?
Sleep tomorrow, but tonight go crazy.
All you just need me.
This device was built to bring us closer together.
And yet now, it feels like we are
scrolling further and further apart.
So let's change that.
I combine magic and technology to create
moments of true connection.
These days, you communicate more in emojis
than anything else.
Simon, these are all completely different.
Yeah, they are.
Simon, please touch the back of one emoji.
Hang on, hang on.
Can we go back one?
That one.
This one?
Yeah.
Look at it.
Focus on it.
We will leave it here for now.
These days, it's easier to connect to Wi-Fi
than each other.
So let's start there.
Simon, focus on your emoji.
But this isn't just happening on my phone.
Howie, may I borrow your phone?
My phone?
Please.
No.
Thank you.
Howie, watch closely.
I'm holding on to this.
Why?
Simon, please show your card to the camera.
Show it to the camera.
To the camera.
There's a camera.
Did you see what that is?
The love heart.
Now I want everyone in this audience
to think of someone you have not spoken to
in a very long time.
A family, a friend,
someone you wish to reconnect with.
Now, there are thousands of seats in this theater.
We must narrow it down to just one.
Ask AI to choose a random seat.
Okay.
AI, choose a random seat.
Thank you.
H5.
The person sitting in row H, seat 5,
please stand and shout your name.
Amy.
Amy, do you have someone in mind
you wish to reconnect with?
Yes.
And you just thought of this person now,
is that correct?
Yes.
Hold your phone to your head like this.
Like this?
Close your eyes.
Focus on the name of this person.
Amy, is this the person you were just thinking of?
Yes.
Do I pick it up?
Answer.
Hello?
Ask them where they are.
Hello?
Where are you?
She's getting in an elevator.
An elevator.
Amy, sit down.
Everyone else in row H,
hold your phone high in the air now
and show us elevator.
We started tonight as strangers,
but this moment has connected us all together forever.
Simon, you chose the love heart.
Mel, you chose row H on Howie's phone.
A random friend was thinking about getting in to the elevator.
AGT, thank you for proving that when we connect,
the impossible becomes reality.
My name is Magical Bones and I'm a street magician.
And tonight I want to show you guys something
you've probably never ever seen before.
Ooh, let's hope so.
Simon?
Yep?
Can you take one out for me?
Yeah.
Okay.
I'm going to go for that one.
Perfect.
Shall I just take it?
Yeah, take it out.
Don't show it to me.
I won't.
What I'd like you to do is write your name.
Can I see it?
Yeah, you can see it.
And then write your name nice and big
on this side of the card, yeah?
And then when you're done,
you're going to just show the camera
and show everyone else, okay?
I'm going to look this way so I can't see.
I'll take that back.
And you'll look close as you can see.
That's lost forever.
Yep.
I want you to focus on that card.
Get it in your mind.
Let's try this.
Oh my goodness.
Wouldn't it be cool if this is Simon's?
That's so good.
That was so good.
Now, being a magician,
I always get asked one question.
How did I get into magic?
I want to take you guys back to the 1800s
and I want to tell you about
the man that inspired me the most.
His name is Henry Brown.
Henry was born a slave in Virginia.
But in 1849, he decided to escape.
He hid in a small wooden box
and literally mailed himself
to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
where slavery had been abolished.
I believe that single feat
is one of the greatest escape acts in history.
Henry eventually traveled to England
where he became a magician.
Known as Henry Box Brown.
In 1865, slavery was abolished in the U.S.
and 10 years later,
Henry returned home a free man.
Throughout his life,
he never stopped spreading his message of hope.
Henry described himself as an African prince.
This is the signature neckerchief
he would wear in every performance.
We're going to come back to this in a moment.
Thank you, Sarah.
Henry Box Brown liberated so many people of color,
including myself.
In fact, he inspired me to create this.
Trapped inside this box,
surrounded by 15 swords
with no possible way to escape
is Lamarcy.
No matter how impossible your circumstances may seem to be,
there's always hope
for a better day.
Folks, if you would like to see
the appearing glass of Beatrix,
say yes!
One empty paper bag.
One dramatic magic gesture.
One beer coaster.
But that's not it.
This is the appearing glass
of Beatrix!
Now, they say a good magician
would never repeat the same trick twice.
Well, lucky for you,
I'm not a very good magician.
Alright, here's one for the non-beer drinkers.
Bottle of wine.
In the bag.
Phwoar.
A tiny bottle.
Please. Bang! Wine!
Come on! Here we go!
They say, don't worry,
in case of an emergency,
always bring
a spare
coaster.
But where there's a coaster,
there's a beer.
Not there.
Nothing in the sleeves except for the coaster.
But other than that,
absolutely nothing to hide.
No hidden glasses,
no hidden beers,
except for that one.
Here we go, America!
Bag.
Coaster.
Beer! Yes!
Alright, here we go.
No jackets, no sleeves,
no shoe.
Whoops.
That's my shoe.
No.
...performing magic and hypnosis
for many years now.
Yes.
However, films have been a huge part
of my life for many years.
Films can influence us
in so many different ways.
They can make you feel happy, sad,
create anxiety,
fear, but most of all,
surprise.
And hopefully, we can inspire
some of those today.
Now, I've got here a deck of cards.
Each card has been printed with the name
of a different film, as you can see.
Taxi Driver, Wall-E,
Love Actually, Frozen,
et cetera, et cetera.
Each of the judges is going to have a free choice.
David, would you just point
to the back of one of the cards for me?
This one here. David, do not
show Alicia. Very important.
Alicia. Hey.
Would you do me a favour? Just point to the back
of one of your cards.
This one, the top one. Okay, do not show
Amanda and do not show David.
Amanda, just point to the back
of one of your cards. This one here, do not
show Simon and do not show Alicia.
And Simon, would you just
point to the back of one of the cards?
Just point to the back. That one there?
I would like you to take it. Do not let Amanda
see. Okay, judges,
do you all know the card that you've chosen?
Yes. You all know the name of that film? Yes.
Most importantly, have you seen those films?
I had to turn down the lead part
in this particular movie, but it's a true story.
Was it Shrek?
You did it so well.
Oh, dear.
I'm going to get buzzed on this one, aren't I?
Okay, Amanda, this is what I'd like
to do. In a few seconds' time, I'm going to
ask you to close your eyes. This is very important.
Do not open your eyes
until I say.
Do you understand? Yes. Amanda,
I'd like you to put your hand out for me like this, your left
hand. Good. Close your eyes
now. Amanda, keep
your eyes closed. Don't say
anything. Just really think about
the film title.
Oh, my God.
Keep your eyes closed and focus
100% on the name
and the title of the film.
Amanda,
I would like you
to open your eyes. What was the name
of the film? Man on Fire.
Wow.
That's the stage on fire. Simon,
you just chose
a film. I know what it's going to be. It's going to be
Psycho. It's going to be Psycho.
Do you know the name? No, wait, wait, wait.
This is
brilliant. Like a blockbuster movie.
Simon, what was the name of your film?
Skyfall. Skyfall.
Oh, my God.
Alicia, don't say the film
out loud.
You thought of The Matrix.
Yes. Yes.
Finally, David,
there was something in here
for you, David. This is something
that links to your film.
Little Mermaid. Don't say it,
David, but I think this has got something to do with it.
Focus on your film right now.
Stop!
Magic Mike!
So, from
watching this show, as I love America's Got Talent,
I've realized that you, Simon,
and Howie are BFFs.
We love each other. We do. I know,
from watching the show, right? No, we actually do.
But they say a friendship will only last if they
have a subconscious connection.
So I want to test out your subconscious connection
up on stage right now, Simon and Howie,
in front of America. So come on. Come up.
You up for it?
Lovely to meet you, Simon. Welcome.
Good?
We've never done this before. No.
It's like being on a date.
I'm really nervous. Scream if you guys
need help. We'll run and get you.
Thank you. You ready?
Perfect. So now, as you can see,
I have two decks of cards here and a
blindfold. So, Simon, you're the boss.
So choose the red deck or the blue deck.
The blue deck. Perfect.
So, as you can see,
we'll get rid of the box. These are all
different, yes? Yeah.
Perfect.
Face down like this for you, Simon. Yeah.
And now, Howie, you get the red deck. Okay.
We don't need the box. As you can see, these are all
different, yes? Yes. Incredible.
Now I'm going to place these face down.
Now, the reason for this is because it's going to be
your subconscious choice of choosing a card.
So how about you finger over the deck for me like this? Both of you.
And go left to right for me. Left to right.
Over the deck. Do the same. Left to right.
And I want you to look each other in the eyes for me.
Whenever you want, place your finger down
on one card in your own time.
Perfect.
And, Howie, what one do you want? This one.
Perfect. Okay.
Now this is the thing. If you had a connection,
then these two cards
must match.
So take the cards. Don't look at them just yet.
Take them. Pick them up. Don't look at them. Hold them against
your chest. On the count of three, you're going to
show the audience. One,
two, three. Show the audience.
See, this is where it gets interesting because I want to take this a step
further. So, Howie, here I have a
blindfold. Please could you put this on for me?
Okay.
Perfect. Now, Howie,
I'm just going to touch the back of your hand. You don't mind, do you?
Not the back. Can you feel this
pressure here? I do feel that. Good. Howie, take a deep breath
in and out. We're going to see whether you two are connected.
Do you feel this pressure, Howie?
Yes. Good. Take a deep
breath in.
Now, Howie,
you're doing great. When you feel this pressure come off, raise
your hand slowly to a height of a wine
bottle. Only when you feel this pressure come off.
Okay. Interesting.
Howie, when you feel this pressure come back down,
when you feel this pressure come
back down, place your hand back down to
the table. Okay.
Amazing. But wait, but
wait. That was me controlling your mind.
We're going to see whether you're in sync. Simon,
it's in your hands. Think like this.
Simon, whenever you want, you're going to control Howie's hand.
Just raise your hand slowly in your own time.
So I'm controlling Howie? Whenever you want.
This is incredible.
Perfect. Thank you so much, Howie. You're doing great.
Now I've got you two in sync. I want to try the last
experiment to see whether you are actually
subconsciously connected. Simon,
as you can see, I have loads of things here, right?
Now I want you to choose one of them. Any one you want.
Just choose one. Perfect.
We're going to get rid of that now. Yeah.
Hold it in your right hand like this for me.
Now, Howie, turn your right hand palm
towards the sky for me. Now, just in
your imagination, you imagine holding
something inside your hand. You focus on the texture,
the colour, the shape of this thing. Do you imagine
something inside your hand now? Yes.
What do you imagine holding?
A cookie.
Take off your blindfold and have a look.
I've just handed Simon a cookie.
There we go. You guys have a subconscious
connection. Look at that.
You're going to be BFFs forever.
You guys have been
absolutely incredible.
Thank you so much.
Today,
I'm going to be creating a magical moment
in time.
I cannot do that alone.
I'm going to need the help
of the four lovely judges.
Bruno, can I borrow your watch, please?
Okay, here we go.
Show everyone. Hold it up.
Can you all see the watch?
Oh, that's a nice piece, isn't it?
He's doing well for himself.
What I'm going to do,
I'm going to put your watch in my handkerchief.
Can you feel it?
Just make sure it's still there.
Rule number one,
never trust a magician.
Poof.
In this bag, I've got
50 photos of
Simon Cowell's memories.
To show you they're all different,
I need you to select a random photo.
Bruno, can you close your eyes
and take a random photo?
Take one, just one.
Reveal it and show Simon.
I remember that.
That is the premiere
of the One Direction
movie.
Great.
Okay.
Oh, look at that.
It's you and King Charles.
Looks like I'm being told off.
Now, Simon,
we're going to do this slightly different.
With your right hand,
I need you to pick a random photo.
Close your eyes.
Pick a random one.
Do not open it.
Same thing with your left hand.
You can open your eyes.
Hang on to that and follow me.
I'm kind of scared.
What's going to happen?
What about my watch?
Now, Simon, about a month ago,
I had a dream about two memories.
In fact, it wasn't my memories.
These were, in fact,
your memories.
The first dream that I had
was a memory about unconditional love.
There was a lot of barking by dogs
and it woke me up.
Do me a favour, Simon.
The first photo with your right hand,
can you please reveal that photo, please?
Show the camera, please.
It's Pebbles.
It's the new one.
After my dream,
I had this made.
It's a custom dog tag
with the name Pebbles.
Have a look.
Are you serious?
That's unbelievable.
So now,
the second dream I had,
you made a purchase for £10,500
on the
21st of March
1994.
I want to show you something, Simon.
Do you recognise this?
Yeah.
That's a TR6.
Have a look at your photo.
What?
My car.
Remember that car?
That was one of my favourite ever cars.
Now, Simon,
I am about to reunite you
with someone special.
Simon Cowell,
let me reunite you
with a blast from apart.
Simon,
this is your exact car
from 30 years ago, exactly the same one.
It's not a duplicate. Come round here, Simon.
Come round. Simon, do me a favour.
Go inside the glove box.
There's a gift inside there, Simon.
Do not open it but take it out.
Alright.
Let's go back and stay. Give it up for Simon one more time.
This is like
a real smash thing.
Simon,
give that box to Bruno but do not open it.
One more time for Simon Cowell and the judges.
Bruno, open that box.
Oh my God.
How did you do?
Watch, guys.
Magician tricks, you guys.
So I decided since I didn't use all the judges,
I want to come down one more time up close to you
and do something amazing. Mel,
a really important question with the Rubik's Cube.
I'm going to start to mix it up.
Here's my question. Is that Rubik's Cube still mixed up
on all six sides, yes or no?
It looks like it, yes.
I want you to watch close. If I turn the Rubik's Cube one time,
that's still going to be mixed up. The cheating happens
in a moment.
You throw it straight up in the air.
This time, twice as hard.
We're going to take the Rubik's Cube.
It's going to happen right in front of your face.
If you actually blink, you're going to miss it.
It's completely mixed up from there.
Less than a millisecond.
This is making me nervous.
Reba, can you help me out? Sure.
Awesome. I'm going to step right up here.
Reba, hold out your left hand flat for me there.
Everyone watch the bottom of the Rubik's Cube closely.
Watch that close.
Like that. Now your job is to guard that Rubik's Cube
to the very end of the trick. Can you do that?
Yep. Fantastic.
We're going to do a card trick
real quick during this moment.
Heidi, can you actually help me select the card?
Fantastic. Before you select the card,
really, really important, I'm going to make sure
to give that deck a really good shuffle.
As I go through the cards,
any card that you want, it's a completely
free choice out of 52. Heidi, when you see
a card you want, name it out loud.
The Six of Diamonds.
Very important question.
Have I touched that Rubik's Cube, Reba,
since I gave it to you? No, sir.
Everyone watch the Six of Diamonds closely. Watch that close.
Is he tearing it up?
Watch that tiny little corner piece.
I'm not moving my eyes off it. You can look at it.
I'm going to get that tiny little
corner piece to completely disappear from my hand,
fly in the air,
and land underneath the Rubik's Cube
in Reba's hand.
If that corner piece is under it,
that would be amazing, right? Yes.
Reba, lift it up slowly in a loud,
clear voice. Is the corner underneath there?
No.
That would have been awesome.
It would have been.
I'm going to do one better. That tiny
corner piece is going to go inside
the Rubik's Cube in your hand. Heidi,
can you hold onto the Six of Diamonds?
Just like this. That's impossible.
It is now inside. My hands are empty. I'll take the cube
back. I want you to watch really, really closely.
I'm going to take off a tiny little piece
right there. If I actually
break off that tiny little corner piece, everyone
is going to notice. We're going to have a tiny
little...
Reba, do you mind unfolding that corner piece?
