I had to make a difficult decision. To give tiny Daisy a better chance of getting enough milk, I moved three of Basi's kittens into Ginny's room.
Since then, Ginny's own kittens have had much less space at mealtime.
Watching this big blended family is both heartwarming and funny. Ginny patiently nurses not only her own babies but also Keks, Luna, and Bella. There are so many hungry little mouths that everyone tries to find a place around their amazing foster mom.
Meanwhile, Ginny's own kittens, Theo and Oliver, quietly wait nearby, hoping there will still be enough milk left for them. It's impossible not to smile at the sight of this giant pile of kittens all trying to squeeze in at once.
Then Kira arrives. The kittens immediately think they'll be able to split into two groups and make feeding easier. But Kira has other plans and isn't quite ready to feed them yet, leaving the tiny milk lovers to figure things out on their own.
