President Trump shared a series of AI-generated images on his Truth Social account on Sunday,
July 26, including a mock movie poster depicting himself rescuing former President George Washington
at Mount Rushmore. The image, styled to resemble a film poster, shows Trump wearing a cape and
pulling Washington to safety with Mount Rushmore visible in the background, a military helicopter
in the distance, and a glowing time portal above them. The Mount Rushmore image was one of dozens
of AI-generated posts Trump shared that evening over a period of several hours, several of which
cast him in cinematic or heroic roles across different genres. Others included a science
fiction-themed poster titled Cosmic Commander, featuring imagery resembling well-known space
franchises, an image depicting an air filtration barrier along the U.S.-Canada border, and
additional content referencing the 2028 election, including an oversized coffee mug design bearing
that message. The posts followed remarks Trump made at the annual White House Correspondents'
Dinner on July 24, where he referred to his current term as his third in office. Reflecting
and said he intended to seek a fourth term, a comment that would extend beyond the two-term
limit set by the 22nd Amendment. He also wore a cap reading TRUMP 2028 during the appearance,
telling attendees he had won three elections and planned to do so again.
Trump appeared in various entertainment projects prior to entering politics,
including a hosting role on the reality series The Apprentice, which aired for multiple seasons,
and appearances in films such as Home Alone 2, Lost in New York, Zoolander,
and Two Weeks Notice, along with single-episode appearances on television shows including
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Nanny, and Days of Our Lives during that period.
The AI-generated posts drew a range of reactions online, with some users commenting directly on
the content itself and had others questioning the president's motivations for sharing it,
as the images circulated amid ongoing developments involving the conflict in Iran
and continued discussion of the president's public schedule and health.
