In this hike, I start at an alpine lake appropriately named Fairy Lake and hike up a mountain to the tallest peak in the Bridger Mountain Range of Montana, Sacajawea Peak. I meet a mountain goat at the top and have a beer and lunch at the lake after the hike. #montana#hiking#solohiker#outdoors

AI GeneratedThe speaker takes a solo hike on a steep 4.5-mile round-trip trail that begins at an alpine lake and ascends to a mountain peak. Despite the challenging incline and thin air, the hiker enjoys the lush greenery, wildlife sightings, and a refreshing dip in the lake to conclude the journey.
In today's hike I decided to go solo as the climb to the peak here is very steep for kids.
It's a four and a half in and out trail that starts in an alpine lake and ends at the top
of a mountain. At the end of the hike I was able to cool off in the alpine lake.
Gravel is sometimes so shifty.
Made it to the trailhead and it's actually not as busy as I thought it would be which is great.
Beautiful Indian paintbrush I think. I'm winded. I'm trying to go quickly. It's so pretty up here.
Also slightly hazy I think in the distance. I'm thankful there's some cloud coverage today.
It's only 70. I'm hot already. We should be seeing some mountain goats too.
Every time I've camped here and hiked I've seen mountain goats so I feel like that'll happen.
Now I should probably have my bear spray out on my waistband but these shorts do not fit very well
and they just keep pulling my pants down when I hook the bear spray to them. So I have it closed though.
And honestly this trail is busy enough to where you know I don't think any
surprise encounters are going to happen. Beautiful up here. I'm gonna grab some water, take a break
for a sec. Everything is still so green up here. All of this smells like a bunch of Christmas trees
up here. Truthfully though, pretty much switchbacks the whole time. Just going uphill
the whole time. Pretty crazy though. And up there are the switchbacks I'm gonna get to.
Look at those people. They're not talking that loud. They're discussing politics so loudly.
I'm pretty far back and I can still hear them kind of arguing about it. Why? It's just a pretty
place to discuss politics. Hopefully this gives you an idea of how steep it is. Look at the trail though.
Where did the trail go? There it is. The air is definitely feeling thinner up here.
See some snow patches up there. There is a mountain goat on the trail. Pretty cool.
Well buddy, hope you move because I gotta go that way.
So beautiful and actually see this is why I like the lower area better than the ridge line because
there's less wind and lots of people. And now I'm just following this mountain goat out of the trail.
Pretty cool. I have made it back to the parking lot and now I'm going to go down to the lake.
This is a hike that I've done before kids, pregnant, and wearing a baby.
It's a beautiful one that I'll keep coming back to.
