Good morning pookies. I am getting ready to go into the office. So it's a gloomy day So I have my umbrella just in case but I'm going to Hopefully I don't get rained on during my walk. I'm like looking outside. I'm like is it about to rain? But I have on this top from meshki Honestly, I don't know. I've been sleeping on meshki for these last few years I didn't know like they have really amazing pieces especially for an office But I mean like this is just like an old tank top, but they have really good basics I got a few things recently where I was like, oh, okay meshki like go off moving down I have on this belt from abritzia my Abercrombie jeans that are just literally the best jeans I literally can't stop raving about them. I'll never shut up about these jeans. Let me down so you can see them better They're so good. Like just so flattering. My Manolo's are from the railroad I got them forever ago, but they're actually quite comfortable even though they're a little hill to walk in So i'm going to try to do that today and see how it goes tonight I have dinner with my friend's fiancee Um, my friends jevin jackson. They're getting married and I don't know where jeff's at this weekend, but jackson his fiancee Um asked me to go to dinner tonight. So I was like, oh my god, of course So we're gonna go in long island city tonight, which i'm excited looking forward to that This is the outfit of the day and then also my maybel tote always has my laptop everything like that in it And then I also have on my earrings or have a mayhem Like always so but yeah, very casual today Like I said, it's going to rain so I don't want to wear anything too cute and I feel like since it's raining I can finally wear jeans But I will see you guys throughout the day I have like 10 minutes to get ready before I need to go to dinner I heard so frizzy because it was raining today and then oh my gosh, it's just like a mess outside it's like raining and then it's Cold and then it's windy and hot so I just like don't know what to do anymore But I had a good day in the office and I have to go back in office tomorrow. I usually only do thursdays and tuesdays But i'm going in tomorrow because they're doing like some head shots this week I just changed it up a little bit, but as I work from home for a few hours but right now i'm getting ready because I am going to um, A japanese barbecue with my friend's fiancee jackson. That's also my friend. Yeah, we're going to a japanese barbecue I think he wants to like talk to me about some business things. So exciting. We're going out in long island city I just sprayed stuff in my hair. So I need to like fix up my hair a little bit And as soon as I came back, I was working on youtube stuff. I just submit something in third brand So as soon as I got home, I had like 40 minutes to do that So that's what i've been doing and now I have like 10 minutes to get ready We were actually about to cancel because it is disgusting outside and there's a flood warning but um, it kind of like stopped So that's great. Okay, i'll talk to you guys whenever we go to japanese barbecue Yeah, we devoured it so i'm about to get in the shower because it is obviously a hair wash day My hair is so disgusting. Also, new york is just having a heat wave so I feel like every day is hair wash day at this point because my hair is just so Gross and I need to wash it. So i'm about to get in the shower Um and do a good scrub and ever since highlighting my hair you guys know I have highlights now So right now I am even more careful about what kind of products i'm using on my hair because my highlights aren't bleached, but it's still you know, it's coloring in my hair and I just need to keep it as healthy as possible because i've noticed my hair becoming drier ever since getting the blonde highlights in it I just been putting so much heat on it whenever it's hot outside because my hair isn't naturally straight So I really need to take care of my hair right now and i'm doing so with olaplex you guys know This is the best like I feel like we all know olaplex is the best i've been using them for years I specifically love the bond collection that they have So this is the olaplex number four bond maintenance shampoo And it just strengthens repairs all hair types. I woke up early. I'm going for a little walk right now. I figured why not stop by Thank you Bakery goodies are secured Let me see my boxes my other hand, but I hope I got the right things because there were so many options I felt really overwhelmed and everything looked delicious So I only limited myself to two things I'm at radio bakery. I'm on my roof right now because I wanted to have breakfast on my roof It's a little loud though, so sorry they both look delicious got the sesame scallion focaccia Wow the lighting is better this way, um, but I got the scallion focaccia This looks so good and it's sesame bread first bite They also had this Bacon and cheese focaccia. I almost got it. I was so close, but everyone kept getting this one in front of me I was like, maybe I should get this one Also bacon and cheese. I don't know. It kind of looks like pizza almost I was like, I don't know. This is great And then of course I had to get something like savory and sweet So I got this it's a cherry chocolate croissant. Is it walnuts on top? I think so many sweets and I was like i'm only gonna take one get a pistachio croissant, which I love pistachio Um, I almost got that but I was like, okay, let me try something different that i've never had before cherry chocolate croissant Oh my god, see how flaky and buttery that is that's a great croissant I'm, very happy with my decision. I just love chocolate in any kind of fruit combination. So good Okay, i'm gonna eat these have my coffee and then get ready. I'm getting ready right now. I'm doing my makeup actually Um, so we're gonna like chit chat while I get ready before i'm going to work. Honestly, I hate this And I love chocolate tilbury so much. So it makes me sad that I hate this Stupid one thing but and I feel like a lot of people use it, but I just feel like it's so messy and there's way better products on the market and it just like I don't know You can lock it and I lock it and it still just leaks everywhere. So I will not be repurchasing this. I mean when the product's on though, the product formulation is really nice I just hate the applicator so much And it makes me sad so I will not be Rebuying this but I think i'm like on The end of it. Anyways, I didn't even twist it on because there's so much leakage that I can use um, and if I do twist it on I just feel like it's gonna get gross, I have to use like a paper towel every time I Use it, which is really annoying. I'm still going to use it up, obviously Um because I do like the product like I said, i'm just getting ready right now for work I like already basically did my hair. I just used the typology Skin tint. I've been really into that. Um, I really really like it I'm in the shade number two and I use that like basically every single day before I go anywhere because it just is really nice and i'm pretty sure there's like skincare ingredients in it as well wears really nice throughout the day I will say like Sometimes if I wear certain types of concealers It will look the concealer will spread and look weird on my skin So maybe the formulas just aren't agreeing but Overall really do like that product. I've been super into podcasts recently I actually found one if you work in marketing or interested in marketing It's called marketing girly by sky society I need to figure out what sky society is. I guess it's like an agency I assume But i'm very new to this. It's by natalie peters. She has really amazing guests on so um right now she the one i'm listening to is with the Away, I believe you guys know. I love away. I've been working with them for so long I just love their branding so much and their strategy for marketing is always so phenomenal Um, but yeah, this is the ways I I don't think she's like the marketer But she had like a different role I believe like she's the oh here She's a senior director of social and also community. So she has like a different kind of role But yeah, she's at away and she was being interviewed Um, and it was really really good So I recommend my marketing girlies Also, the other guests have been pretty good that i've been listening to that She's had on i'm just trying to get more into like educational podcasts instead of just like mindless podcasts, which definitely do have their time and place but I don't know. I think if i'm going to be consuming content. I just want to be more selective about what kind of content i'm consuming and Have it bring knowledge into my life typically Um, especially since I am Figuring out my like career right now with like interning and like finishing up my grad program. So Yeah, I wanted to shout out that podcast. I've also been obsessed with kiki palmer's podcast But she's like such a good mixture of like light-hearted funny And also serious topics with great guests. I just love kiki and also her podcast with oprah I think it just like went live maybe two days ago It I listened to it I literally almost cried because I just feel like it was one of the best Podcasts i've ever listened to i've never listened to oprah's podcast So then I like started listening to hers recently. I absolutely love that episode Definitely give it a listen if you haven't already just so much really great like I don't know it's just very inspiring motivational and just like Made me feel good. If you guys have any podcasts rex In that field, let me know i'm always looking for new Podcasts, there's such a balance right? Like I don't want too educational, but I also don't want it like too mindless There has to be like a good balance, you know something else i've been thinking about I want to try more restaurants in greenpoint because I live here now and i'm in this like phase of my life, too where All my best friends have partners and it's hard for us all to get together I don't really see my friends as much one-on-one because they're typically with their partners and like I understand in our schedules and yeah, I don't know I just feel like I Whenever I was traveling for so long alone. I was Always taking myself out to dinner or like doing so many things alone and I do a lot alone too here But for some reason when i'm in new york, i'm not like let me just go take myself out to dinner I think for me it's something I think of like, oh I do that with my friends But I was thinking about that the other day I was like I did that so much when I was like traveling alone Like why would I not do that in new york? And just enjoying my time with myself like not in my apartment like trapped up in my apartment and on top of that I want to explore more greenpoint So if you guys ever have any recommendations, let me know we can you guys can come with me to dinner I just love greenpoint so much because you guys don't know my dad is half polish and Growing up like we just ate a lot of like polish foods and stuff and greenpoint has such a big polish community So when my dad was visiting we went out to some polish restaurants and he like almost cried because he was like Oh my gosh, this tastes just like my mom, you know growing up used to make and so I definitely want to You know check out more of the restaurants over here and like especially polish foods I think they have like some delis and there's like a pierogi place. I really want to try I know i'm just talking and blabbering so much but on top of everything I just said guys I think this is my new signature sign. This is the And I just read this for the first time today I hope it lasts because that's like the issue. I have sometimes with perfumes But this is the most delicious sophisticated elevated Scent i've ever smelled in my whole entire life I don't know how to describe it other than just super sexy and warm And I don't know if I could like not really a daytime scent, but like I don't really care It almost smells a little masculine and you just stop rambling and get ready And i'll show you guys my outfit whenever i'm all ready going into office today. So I have this brown top on Um, that was like shoulder pads. It's pretty cute. I would say it has like a nice slit Um, let me put you down so you can see everything better. I have on my aritzia effortless pants I never shut up about these the prepared material specifically will not wrinkle it will wash Best cats ever seriously love them and then I just have on some loafers from peachy I believe the brand is and also my heaven mayhem earrings that I just love all their earrings made well tote as well And yeah, that is my little outfit of the day. It's going to be hot again. So I don't know the office is cold though. So I just never know what i'm getting but outfit let's head into the office I'll see you guys out and about I'm gonna make dinner now and I ordered these noodles off of amazon. I couldn't find them at my grocery store But they're these rice ramen noodles and they're supposed to be like healthier for you They're just like made literally out of rice, I believe Yeah, we're getting brown rice Um, so I heard these are supposed to be like better for you guys on tiktok instead of just normal, you know Noodles ramen noodles. Um, I found this girl's recipe though on tiktok that I wanted to recreate I believe they're like korean inspired cold noodles and they look so good pretty easy to make too So i'm going to chop up some cucumbers With them, which I know that sounds kind of weird, but like they're a little spicy Um, but i'm gonna cut up some cucumbers make it with the noodles. It's a cold noodle dish So you need to like rinse off the noodles, um, get them cold and then do the sauce which I think this is gonna be great like meal prep for my lunches whenever I want to bring them to work, so Let's see Let me see how easy it is to make this I think it's fairly easy because she like had them for like in her fridge in a jar So and she had them throughout the week So let's see if I like this and if I do I can bring it to lunch next week for work and like no profit Okay guys, I made it it looks pretty it looks pretty good I didn't have exactly everything the girl had I was missing one paste and also I don't have sesame Seeds to top it on top, but I also just put an egg on top And i'm excited to try the noodles and then I put scallions on top because I had leftover scallions. I needed to get rid of but first bite Mmm, I will say that's pretty good. I like my sauce was a little watery, so I just put a scoop of um Greek yogurt in it just to make it because it's cold because they're cold noodles Um, it's also where it's gonna be too spicy, but it's not but I just wanted to thicken up the sauce a bit for rice noodles It tastes just like normal noodles next time I would definitely slice up I feel like big cucumber Thinner probably half it but I will say a really great dinner. I feel like this will be a really good lunch. So Maybe this will be my lunch next week This is really random for me because i'm not a big sweet treat person For some reason i'm really craving a sweet treat So i'm gonna go to banloom because it's down the street from me I don't know why ice cream just sounds so good to me right now I think it's because this week in the office they gave us ice cream and now i'm like, oh that sounds really good Ice cream is secured. It is popping Outside, I just got vanilla and a waffle cone with sprinkles. I didn't want anything too crazy Also, they have this chocolate chip cookie that looks really good, but I contained myself
