Welcome to Snowfall Summit. Today we have something very interesting and exciting to share with you.
Before we begin, we want to give a huge thank you to the amazing Florida Convaleria for helping make this video possible.
Before mobile apps, phones were pretty simple. You could make calls, send a few texts, and maybe play Snake if you were lucky.
Then in 1993, IBM released the Simon Personal Communicator. It is often called one of the first smartphones.
It had a calendar, calculator, address book, and even email. People didn't call on apps yet, but the idea was already there.
In the early 2000s, phones started getting downloadable games, ringtones, and small tools.
Before we jump back into the video, thank you to Sword of Convaleria for sponsoring this part of the video.
Sword of Convaleria is a fantasy tactical RPG with classic pixel art, turn-based battles, and strategic squad building.
Basically, running into battle without a plan is a great way to get your entire team politely destroyed.
The second anniversary update is now live, making this a great time for new players to start or returning players to come back.
There are anniversary packs, login rewards, a free 10 pull, the dual up select, the hero catch-up select, and a special 30-day banner for new and returning players.
The new Lucia version takes the story to the frozen plains of Rodinia, while Hunt on the Frozen Plains adds consecutive battles, bosses, enemy weaknesses, and battlefield mechanics that test your strategy.

The only problem was that every phone company had its own store, and most of them were confusing to use.
Then Apple released the iPhone in 2007. One year later, the App Store launched with around 500 apps, and that changed everything.
Now developers could make games, social media apps, photo editors, and even silly apps that turned your phone into a lightsaber.
Google soon launched the Android Market, which later became Google Play. Apps like Instagram, WhatsApp, Angry Birds, Uber, and TikTok helped turn phones into cameras, maps, TVs, wallets, and gaming devices.
Today there are millions of apps, and we use them for almost everything.
It is kind of crazy to think that mobile apps went from simple calendars and calculators to entire digital worlds that fit inside your pocket.
Thank you so much for watching today's video. We hope you enjoyed it and learned something new along the way.
