Italy v France WS Team T8 HK’26

Sarah Balzer right there out of the gate is referee Malenchev with the she ran of course Tokyo 2024 so we're going to go to five here attack was no you can see Malenchev's hands and Balzer was moving at the feet but her arm oh this is still the attack it's going to be challenged that's what it looked like good for Balzer to challenge it and good for you up against okay the attack that one extra step back and that gave Diali the chance to make the remise or reprise of whatever it is she did a few years ago that would have automatically been Therese but they tightened up that window a lot there's a straight attack from the right Diali came forward and stopped her arm was back she pushing motion forward and the referee Malenchev agreed Diali was able to score finals of the 2026 defensive world championship in the women's saber team event Therese stopped Diali after the second Lucha on the right this will go to 15 being challenged was it no because she was short was back is over don't have the benefit of the she says attack is no beat attack from the right the remise of arm is back so we've had two third of the way through first attack is no the piece and that was certainly a statement and another it's the third challenge to buy that that means is a good disagree first attack is we pull distance and here's the bottom line if she played of course if she has it you know it's really tough because pres the barreling down the I would say 10 years ago once someone was short they lost all rights for a while but that they gave opportunity to the fencer who drew them short you can't look and one of those three is what happened there she is quick but it doesn't matter how quick you are if you attack a much longer fencer like Rutile has to well she pushed once and then she attacked her length to go back a little bit and that's such a huge advantage for her because of her length back is no as you can see by the referee's hand so that was the biggest lead of six a situation really blanket on that rally counterattack to catch up attack and preparation which is on the arm is the arm is back again to within two it had been six sixth of nine and already and he's been able to early on Neutra's attempted attack in the middle in the box no she pulled Neutra short this time at the you know at the very run that one and that's exactly what happened wow Viola gets another one not over yet okay closes the gap in so don't go away so they brought on Emanuela Spica tack first was no so she had to get the right of way whoa wild one arm back and it's even more magnified at close distance Spica the six-point differential going into the sixth leg it's been an eight-point turnaround oh my she's on fire and Tori can't figure this out well as Spica off the okay here she's pulling at the hamstring oh my and well as Spica seven one to give it of nine legs the pen and Neutra was out here she's still feeling that and she needs to compose herself and get France back into this in the previous leg long arms and starting before the referee said LA she pulled distance now this is where she can be effective Harry that's where Neutra could be effective at a distance and get back to some in half has Neutra big attack piece she's hit three out of the Neutra is an attack and quarterfinal matchup between traditional rivals Italy and France oh this time Neutra's got the arm back let's see if she bets on tries to attack Neutra pulls her short and then pushes down the piece let's watch what happens that's pulling it short and here we go as predicted found the blade this time Batistan pulls Neutra short and now she goes on the attack in stages pushing down the piece leg hanger as you they came back from wild 45 44 over Ukraine make it to the semis that's the attack beat attack you see balls finally makes her a lot of fences start with their arm six eight inches away from their body in front she keeps it way back the arm is back for bowser is she going to challenge it no well let's just go take a look at it did she look for the blade telling bowser to get on guard first attack china 45 41 over korea and they are into the semis oh the attack yeah i'll allow that to happen try to attack into the prep on that one last clip because it could just be a cat riposte be in this wild changes back and forth the whole time for a spot in the semi-finals at the 2026 that's going to go to bowser she drew the attack short and then started the attack unless there's something we didn't see that's the way it looks to me oh you can see vialli knows it there it goes to bowser the winner wow what a incredible incredible match that was hard to top that
