Here's a quick money tip to help you live a debt-free life.
What's up, guys? It's Justine with Debt-Free Millennials.
I am introducing a quick millennial money tip segment for you guys
so you can quickly just make a decision and get to that debt-free status.
My tip for you today is to raise your car insurance deductible. A lot of times
people will tend to have a lower car insurance deductible
so that they don't have to pay so much out of pocket for a repair
if they were to get into an accident.
My tip for you is to take a look at your car insurance rate in your policy.
If it's anything less than a thousand dollars that you're paying
towards your deductible, then increase it to one thousand dollars
and see how that changes your car insurance premium.
Most of the time that will help you lower your insurance premium
so that you are not paying as much towards that.
And if you have an OSHA fund of a thousand dollars, the emergency fund,
why not do this? Very simple. Check it out.
Remember, when you change your deductible, that means that you agree
to pay that portion out of pocket before your insurance covers the rest.
You can do this for both comprehensive and collusion coverage.
I use a tool called Gabby. It's free to use.
I will drop my affiliate link below.
Budget Girl told me about this tool.
I used it and saw that I was actually getting a good deal on my insurance rate.
So I think it was an awesome tool for me to reevaluate.
