Kayla Day vs. Coco Gauff | 2026 Toronto Round 2 | WTA Match Highlights

That's brilliant from Gough and it all started with the quality of the drop shot. It's outstanding, it's the best point of the set and it's actually Kayla Day's best point that she's played. In truth, it's brilliant tennis from both women, nothing wrong with the way almost had too much time that's good there was good composure there from Gough it can be difficult those passes if you panic almost identical to the point the previous game coming back that last one well she's won um a lot of points at the net okay no more ice cream uh please mr director amazing what an extraordinary athlete she is well that game was the right result a Kayla Day break finds a way Gough gets through in two very unconvincing sets of tennis there'll be no celebration Kayla Day there almost gave the impression she didn't know the match was over for Gough she'll be mightily relieved the match is over well below her best but I guess for Gough all that matters is she is the winner
