Toronto is getting $2.7B in new affordable housing: Carney

The Canadian government and the City of Toronto have announced a multi-billion dollar investment to create 4,500 new rental homes. Through a collaboration between federal and municipal levels, $2.7 billion will fund 18 projects across the city, focusing on affordable and market-rate housing located near transit hubs to support working families, students, and seniors.
