Hello, welcome to my home.
I'm Lily Aldridge, and please come in,
make yourselves at home.
This is my living room.
I think everybody's kind of favorite room in their house.
I want you to come, I want you to have a cup of tea with me,
get cozy, feel like you're at home.
Maybe a glass of wine in here.
When I was describing what I want for the house,
it was like cozy English countryside meets Morocco.
I love the beams.
I think they're really beautiful and make it really cozy.
My books are color coordinated up here.
My daughter loves coming over here
and she'll like usually pick a book
and then she'll come sit in her seat.
And she's only in kindergarten
so she can't read these big books yet,
but she'll just kind of sit here and look at the books.
And I think it's so special.
It's kind of like just a little magical touch
in this room that I love.
I have this original kind of from Catalina Island,
this picture of my auntie Stella and my grandma.
And it looks like we found them somewhere,
but that's just my gorgeous grandma and auntie
and I love those pictures.
My video music award, very proud of it.
Never thought I'd get a moon man in my life.
Love him.
This is my daughter's playroom.
We always have a tea party whenever she has a play date.
And I think it's like about tea time right now.
So let me just pour myself a little cup of roux.
Lovely cup of tea on me.
This is our TV room.
This is where we hang.
We watch the Predators.
We have a Nintendo Wii in here.
So I play Mario in here, Mario Kart.
I just love a good video game session,
but we like to hide it back here
so people don't know that I'm a gamer.
We build cabinets here.
It was something I never would have thought to do.
These are my dad's books that he did the covers of.
He was the creative director for Penguin Books in the 60s.
These are like my treasures,
the little things that my daughter makes.
I remember when she did this, she like was so little,
she didn't know how to paint the whole thing,
but it's still so gorgeous to me
and I'll treasure it forever.
And then here's kind of a nice little cozy nook.
I really don't actually sit in this chair that often,
to be honest.
I'm usually on that side of the room,
but it looks gorgeous just for, you know, this moment.
So this is just a boring hallway,
but there's this portrait of Audrey Hepburn,
which is me because I love Audrey Hepburn.
And then there's this picture on the far side
of Blaise Foley, who is this bad-ass country singer,
rebel kind of guy, and that's my husband.
And it's like really like our personalities.
This is my kitchen.
I would say the kitchen and the dining area
are the most used rooms in the house.
This is where we have dinners and breakfasts.
To be honest, this is like usually like covered
in schoolwork and like laundry,
and you know, it's not looking this glamorous,
but today it looks very nice for you.
When I walked into the first time
and saw the kitchen tiling, it took my breath away.
I absolutely love that the hood is the same tile
as the walls, and then these open cabinets of marble,
and it makes you keep your kitchen really tidy
because everything's exposed.
Then this is usually where I hang the mistletoe
at Christmas.
So lots of smooches happen right here.
This is my daughter's room,
which I think is super magical.
I love it in here.
It has such a nice feeling,
and she has a birdcage chandelier, which I love.
Tons of books that she can read,
tons of stuffed animals just like overflowing in this.
I don't even know what's in here.
Oh, this is a cute story.
My husband has a weird fear of anteaters,
so like two Christmases ago,
we bought him this gorgeous anteater that Dixie now loves,
and she like loves to like randomly,
like occasionally like scare him with this
and thinks it's hilarious.
This painting over here,
my dad found in Norfolk years and years ago,
and they were in one of his houses before I was even born,
and then I grew up with this painting
in my house in the kids' room,
and now they're finally here
and they have a home in her room,
so I just love that.
Her room was really just about like being a kid
and play and fun and magic.
Ta-da!
This is, what do people say?
No, I won't say it.
It's too, I'm not gonna say it.
One thing I love about this room
is this gorgeous chandelier.
If you only turn this on at night
and leave all the other lights off,
it casts like a beautiful pattern all over the walls.
I love kind of all the different fabrics.
The curtains are this like amazing peacock pattern,
and they kind of like brought it into the pillowcases too
and the bedspread.
And this gorgeous bed custom frame.
Here's a little, like again,
like the Moroccan touches
and just like that Moroccan English vibe
that I was telling you about.
I never knew how much a refrigerator
in your master bedroom was handy,
but it really is.
And also, I almost let you leave
without showing you my picture with Barack Obama.
I gave this to everybody in my family for Christmas.
I'm like, I know what you want,
a picture of me with Barack Obama.
So off the master is a little sitting room.
This light fixture is my favorite light in the house.
I love it so much.
It feels to me like it's like a blooming flower
or something.
I just think it's so beautiful.
And I love the fabric walls.
I think it's something super nice
that people don't do often enough.
And it also feels really good to rub it.
It's really nice.
This is my bathroom.
I love this room.
I love the carpet leading up to this kind of
bear claw bathtub.
This has always been my dream bathtub.
I just love this style of bathtub.
I take baths like as many times a day as possible.
I just love the process of it.
I love bath salts.
I love candles going.
It's just a really nice way to unwind from the day.
And then this is my little vanity.
I have all my gorgeous perfumes over here.
I love like that kind of old style
where you have like your beauty products on display
and all of like kind of my favorite products
that I use every day out.
And then everything else is just a mess in the drawers.
Thank you guys so much for touring my house.
I hope you enjoyed yourselves and felt cozy and welcome.
And now I'm going to say farewell.
