Hello again everybody. Today I'm going to show you an ingenious interactive card trick created
by Calibus71. The link to his channel will be right over here the entire time. At the end of
the video I'm going to announce the winners of the signed deck giveaway from my last video,
and once again there's going to be another signed deck giveaway. So go ahead, pause the video, grab
your deck of cards and come on back. Now that you have your deck what I'd like you to do is remove
eight cards. Four odd cards and four even cards. As long as the even cards all have a different suit
and the same with the odd cards. So we have a club, spade, heart, and diamond of the even cards
and a spade, heart, diamond, and club of the odd cards. Pause the video and then we'll move on.
Okay, so now what I'd like you to do is mix up your cards that are odd and we're going to set
it down hearts, spades, clubs, diamonds. You can set it any way you'd like as long as you take the even
cards and do the same way. Hearts, spades, clubs, diamonds. So now you have even cards and odd cards
that are set up with the suits in the same order. Square up the cards and now set the even cards on
top of the odd cards or the odd cards on top of the even cards. Turn the pack over. Get rid of
the rest of the deck. Now what I'd like you to do is deal four cards down. One, two, three, four, and set the other
four cards off to the side. Now what we're going to do is we're going to make seven swaps. A swap means
we're going to take a card from the top and move it to the bottom. You can do it all seven times
from one pack or you can alternate. So I'm going to go one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. So seven swaps
any way you like. Move the card to the bottom and when you're done we're ready to move on. Now what
I want you to do is we're going to alternate and make one pile. So you can start from right to left
or left to right and we're going to just alternate and create one pile right in the middle. I want
you to deal three cards. One, two, three. Three cards. One, two, three, and take the other two and set them off to the
side. Now the two piles of three cards flip them over and I want you to memorize one of those cards.
So I have the seven of diamonds and the four of clubs. You memorize one of your cards. I'm going
memorize the seven of diamonds. Whatever card you memorize, turn the other pile face down. Now I'm
remembering the seven of diamonds. You're remembering your card. We're going to set those cards right on
top of this pile and we're going to set all the cards on top of these two cards. One more move.
We're going to take the top card, move it to the bottom. Now we're going to spell our card. One card
for each letter. So my card was the seven of diamonds. Your card was different. So you're
going to spell your card. I'm going to spell S-E-V-E-N. Place the rest of the cards on top. So first spell the
value of your card. Place the rest of the cards on top. Pick up the cards. Now spell the word of O-F.
Place the rest of the cards on top and now spell the suit of your card. My card was the diamonds
D-I-A-M-O-N-D-S. There are no more cards to put on top, but whatever remaining cards you have, put on
top. Okay, are you still with me? Now what I'd like you to do is turn the cards over. Now we're going to
set the cards up. We're going to out jog the first card and halfway down will be the second card.
Then we're going to put the third card, the fourth card, the fifth card, the sixth card, the seventh
card, and the eighth card. And these cards are lined up. So you've got these cards on the top,
these cards on the bottom. Now I want you to put a bend in the card. Put your index finger
pushing through and you're going to take your thumb of your other hand and you're going to
slowly push up, holding on firmly to the sides. The card that's going to pop up is going to tell
you whether your card was odd or even. So as you push up, this shows me that my card was odd. It
was the seven of diamonds. This should show you whether your card was odd or even. Now you're
going to grab the packet by the middle, hold on to it with a bend, flip it around, press your index
finger through, and now once again you're going to push up with your thumb. This is going to tell
you the suit of your card. Holding it firmly, push the cards up, and this shows that my card was a
diamond. It was the seven of diamonds. So this is correct. That should be the suit of your card.
Once again you're going to grab the packet, squeezing it, flipping it over, pressing in the
middle with your index finger, and now the last time you're going to push up with your thumb,
and this should be your card. And as I push up to reveal my card, the seven of diamonds.
