Safety Rules at Home | Kids Learn Safety Tips || Bedtime Stories for Kids by Pit & Penny
Aug 9, 2026
Once upon a time, in a cozy home on the edge of a big, sunny city,
lived three extraordinary children.
Pit, Penny, and little baby Polly.
One day, their parents told them that they had to leave for some errands,
but left them in the caring hands of robot Nanny Ricky,
who was programmed to look after the home and the children's safety.
That day, the sun shone brightly through the windows,
and the children decided to embark on a treasure hunt.
The treasure was an unusual book of safety rules, hidden somewhere in the house.
First, the friends headed to the kitchen.
Baby Polly, seeing the shiny stove, reached out her hand to touch it,
but Penny quickly stopped her.
Polly, you can't touch the stove.
It might be very hot, she reminded her.
Pit nodded in agreement, and added that one should always stay away
from kitchen appliances when adults are not around.
Then, the friends noticed a shiny object at the top of the staircase.
Remembering the rule of one hand on the handrail,
they helped each other to safely ascend and descend, forming a safety train.
Baby Polly laughed with joy when they reached the top,
and Pit was proud of how well they worked together.
In the bathroom, Penny noticed how Polly was curiously looking
at the bright bottles of cleaning agents.
These substances are dangerous, Polly.
They could be poisonous, she said seriously.
Ricky helped move the substances to the higher shelves,
so the little one couldn't reach them.
After a series of adventures and trials, the friends finally
found the book, Family Safety Rules, hidden in the home's library.
Ricky explained that the real treasure was their safety and care for each other.
The children promised always to follow the safety rules
and help their parents maintain order in the house.
When the parents returned, they were delighted to see that the children not
only learned important safety lessons, but also spent their time
usefully helping each other.
The tale of Pit, Penny, and Baby Polly reminds us that following safety rules
helps protect ourselves and our loved ones.
Together, by taking care of each other, we can make our world a little safer.
And of course, true adventures begin not with the search for treasures,
but with care and attention to those we love.
