Hi, this is Laurel. Welcome back to Ask Laurel. I'm answering questions that are being asked on
my asklaurel.com site. Here's one from another student. Should I invest in gold and silver in
case the economy collapsed? Well, first of all, you have a weird combination of questions all
collapsed together. So gold and silver is a money roll. Like, do you like gold? Do you like silver?
Do you like the commodity? And there are some people who absolutely do. And there's some people
who don't. Whether the economy collapses or not isn't whether you should buy gold or silver,
because you still can't exchange it. I don't know a restaurant outside of Utah.
Utah actually gold is a current valid currency exchange. It's the only state in the United
States. But yeah, I love gold backed things. There's some payment structures that I'll be
introducing and teaching you to. Some payment transactional portals that are backed by gold.
As far as just gold and silver, outside of Utah, you can't transact. You can't walk into
a restaurant. You can't walk into a clothing store and buy anything with it. Not today.
Coming soon in some different crypto and digital currency processes that will be backed by gold,
you can. So it's really up to you. It's a money roll for you. I like it. I don't have a ton of it.
There's some people who I know that is all they invest in. So again, back to money rules. So
my WealthCycle book, chapter four, if you like it for free, go over to my asklaurel.com, make a
request, say I'd like your WealthCycle investing book, and then we will send you out an ebook copy
and go read chapter four to start defining your money rules. Talk to you soon.
