Summer Book Haul📚✨ | I Went Crazy😅

If you are coming back, then thank you so much. I appreciate you guys. I have a lot of content coming your way, but today I wanted to do a book haul. I absolutely love to read. I'm getting right into it because for the past several years, y'all, I've only been reading self-help books, which I love. I love self-help books and improving your better life, but I'm getting now into reading for entertainment purposes and kind of replacing it with TV. It's just been so soothing to me, so I went to the bookstore today. I picked up a few books and then last week I went to Goodwill, so I just kind of wanted to show you all of the books that I have. I brought out self-help books, so I'm going to show you the first one that I'm actually reading now. It is called When Things Fall Apart by Pema and it says, Heart Advice for Difficult Times off of Instagram. I heard it's a great book, went ahead, purchased it, and I loved it. This is great for those who suffer from depression or anxiety or you just have a lot of fear, you're scared to try new things or get out of your comfort zone. This is a great book for you. I love it. I absolutely love it and it helped me learn a lot about myself, so I forget how much I paid for it. I got it off Amazon. I'm currently reading it. I'm on chapter 10. I had this highlighter as a bookmark for a while, but I recently purchased two bookmarks, one for me and one for my husband. This is the one that I have for me. It says, Shoot through the moon, even if you miss it, you will land among the stars. I love that and then this one I got from my husband. It's the Min and Wayne theme book, so I highly recommend that book and then sticking with the self-help books, I got this one called Sarah and it's about a girl who learns about the law of attraction and how she came to know about that side of things, the universe specifically and this is by the author Esther and Jerry Gates. They write a lot, a lot of books about manifestation and I've read previous books, so I had to try this one out. It's an actual story about just again a young girl learning about herself, learning about acting and recently and all that stuff and it looks like a really nice to read and it even has some images, so I'm excited to actually dive into this one. That may be the next one that I actually dive into. This one I've heard a lot of good things about, so I decided to go ahead and finally purchase The Power of Now, a guide to spiritual enlightenment. Every time I've heard of the top best self-help books, this was always in the list, so I finally decided to go ahead and give it a read. Oprah actually recommended this as well, so I'm excited about this one and it was on sale on Amazon. Don't believe everything you see. I am someone who used to overthink, but a lot of awareness and reading has helped me kind of like do those, you know, intrusive thoughts, but I wanted to say that this one is not too big, it's thin and quick to read and I've heard a lot of good things about it, so definitely if you are an overthinker, someone who's just about things, I highly recommend Don't Believe Everything You See. It has lots of great reviews and I'm excited to tap into this one in the summer. And then I got Free Will by Sam Harris. This one I purchased from Book of the Million and it pretty much is about how we're born into the world and you kind of already have those thoughts embedded in you, what religion you are, what school you're going to attend, just everything kind of like taught to us, but just free will, how to get that free mindset, how to pick and choose what you want to believe is best. I love the imagery. I think that's all of the books that I have and then now it's time for all of my entertainment type of books. So I love Halloween, so I got two speed signs so that for upcoming October I can have something to like feel my Halloween vibe. This one is called They Wish They Were Us and it's about a girl who lost her best friend. She was murdered and she thinks it's the girl's so we're going to uncover if it is in all those juicy I got this for $4.97 at the million. This one I actually got as a gift and I'm finally going to tap into it again in October by Stephanie King. I'm excited. Look how big that is. I'm going to be This one I got from Goodwill for $1, Waking Hours. It says all towns my favorite and it's an East Salem novel. I'm excited about this one. This is all about supernatural and I love movies like this so I'm excited to actually read about it A Stranger in Mayfair. This is about the 1860s and it's just $4 at Goodwill. So I'm probably going to read this like later on in the year but I think it's like kind of going to be also it's about a case that happened in London so I'm excited to tap into like that time. Okay I also love Christmas with y'all. I love Christmas so for November down until Christmas I'm like all about it and I love Hallmark movies. They're cheesy but I love them. I love the cheesy Hallmark movies. A Lifetime, Christmas Eve Review, Predictable. I could watch them all day long. So I got this one as Thanksgiving for Second Chances. It's about a woman who experienced her life the same like the same husband, the same routine, the kids left the house. So she goes to a new town and you know her life is awakened when she decides to evade her and go back to college and she's in a Christmas town and she finds out this man left her you know and it's all just cozy to it. This one I already know I'm going to fall in love with. This is called Falling Stars. It's about a lady who works at a cabin in Toronto and a celebrity comes to town. Everybody's obsessed with him. She can't sleep down often but she hides it and ends up falling in love with him. And so I love this one. This one is The Seven Moons. This is actually a journal and it's a unique journal because the questions that are asked of you are like they aren't typical journal type of questions. This one said how would today's story look different if you could rewrite it? Just very deep questions that I that I am excited to just write down. I love journaling and I always write in my journal things that I appreciate about the day, things that I want to have happen, like you know manifestation requests, bucket lists. So I'm excited to have actual questions that I can't and not so busy and usually when I do these journal books they're the same. This one's another cutesy book. It's called The Forever Girl by Joel Chavez. I actually saw this one at Books in the Land today for three dollars but I picked it up for a dollar at Goodwill. And just another cutesy book. She goes to a wedding and I think her family was mad at her and like just all these things unraveled but in the end you know she finds love and all this stuff. So yeah I'm excited for that one. This one I got from Goodwill. It's two dollars. It's called Simple. And if you love those lifetime movies, those like movies where women are cheating or the cousin's cheating, like those sort of movies, those 2d movies, this is that in a book. It's about cousins and one of the cousins tries to steal the cousin's husband. It's just a lot of trauma. So two dollars for that one. The XY. This is a unique concept. This is about a boy who's never seen a girl before. He's only heard about them and a girl who's never seen a boy before. She's only heard of boys. So I don't know if this is like an alternate universe where like the genders don't mix up but it's really interesting to see um how like the boys So very unique concept. And then this one is Understanding Tarot. They have a few more books in the collection. Understanding Aura, Chakra, Crystals. But I was really interested in um just learning about the background of tarot. Not about like how to read it but just like where it came from, the concept. People find it to be really good. People find it to be very bad. I just like just the knowledge about it. Um also there's a scary movie coming out about it so I feel like this would be the perfect time to read all about tarot and like you know why people are drawn to it and all the good things. So that was like three dollars. And then while I was there, this is not a book but I still wanted to share. I picked this up for five bucks at the laptop so when I edit, my laptop doesn't get hot. I'm afraid. But that was all of the books. Okay let me know if there is any book that you read before that you want to read. Something that was interesting to you. I am done shopping for books for a good minute. I am excited to finish the one I'm currently reading. And then um like I said, I'm already like halfway done with this one. And then after this one, I'm going to tap into Scarab. But it's somewhere about her and how she crossed manifestation and um you know. But yeah and like I said, the images are really nice.
