AI GeneratedThis video provides a guide on achieving heat-proof and sweat-proof makeup. The creator emphasizes \"intentionality\" and minimalism, arguing that using fewer products prevents makeup from melting or sliding off the skin during hot weather. The focus is on using tints, cream-based products, and strategic layering to ensure longevity.
Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.
Today's video is all about heat-proof, sweat-proof,
everything-proof makeup, something you can rely on
and still have longevity with throughout the day
and not worry about it melting off.
Obviously, it's not a crazy makeup tutorial.
It's really just about the products
and how you really can get their best usage.
So, if you wanna see how to get
long-lasting heat-proof makeup,
then just keep on watching.
Okay, so my first tip slash hack
with heat-proof makeup is actually an eyebrow tint.
This is the Maybelline Tattoo Brow.
I think I have it in the shade light brown.
So, I'm gonna use it on my brows.
I'm gonna use it as an eyeliner.
It's not gonna be opaque like an eyeliner would,
but it's gonna create a shadow,
almost like an extra eyelash flick
at the sides of your eyes and also lip liner.
I'm gonna concentrate my brow tint
mostly at the outer corner of my brows
just because I don't feel like I need
a lot of color or depth in the front.
So, genuinely, just like that, same on this side.
You're gonna sweat, whether you're oily or not,
you're gonna sweat, and that pulses through your skin
and can really disrupt the layers of makeup.
So, keeping it super minimal is very, very key.
So, having a tint in areas
where you don't need added product
can really save you from having your makeup sweat off
or even wiping your makeup off.
It will just stay.
Okay, a little bit at the outer corner of my eyes.
You can see how minimal that is,
and even right now, it looks a lot more in depth
than it's going to be whenever I peel it off.
It's gonna be like the most faint little shadow,
but it really does make all the difference.
Okay, this one is not gonna be for everyone,
but if you love to lip your, lip your line,
line your lips, which I do
because my lip color is not very intense,
so you can't really see the shape of my lips
unless you line them.
Take this, and you're gonna put it
just where you would line your lips,
and then also fade it in at the sides
so then it doesn't look too stark.
Obviously, this looks intense.
We're gonna let it sit for a bit.
Trust the process.
Let's move on to our base.
I'm gonna mention this multiple times.
More makeup just leads to more melting
and mess of makeup, so if you wanna be really specific
and intentional with the products you do put on your face,
starting with a good, long-lasting primer,
you guys know I'm not the biggest primer fan,
but when it comes to heat, you do need something
that's gonna just create a little bit more
of a tacky base for your makeup to stick to.
This is the Urban Decay one.
I think it's a little bit more hydrating and glowy.
I do have the Milk Hydra Grip,
and I don't know if it's because I've not used it
in a long time, but any time I put something
on top of it, it peels really bad.
I've already put down my skincare, and I wear SPF 50.
That's a non-negotiable for me,
but if you haven't put SPF on, put it on before this step.
I honestly would be okay just going straight
to some concealer, a little bit of bronzer, and blush,
but I do wanna show you what bases
are kind of appropriate for heat,
if that's something you're into.
So I like to mix anything really glowy into my base
just because it's gonna reduce using a highlighter after.
Absolutely obsessed with the e.l.f. Halo Glow
in the shade four, and lately I've been loving
these little Summer Friday Sheer Skin Tint
in the shade four as well whenever I have a tan.
Mixing it together, it's super lightweight on the skin,
gives a little bit more coverage than obviously bare skin,
and it's just the most beautiful finish together.
Now I'm blending this out with a damp beauty sponge
because it's going to pick up any excess product.
Obviously if you want a little bit more fuller coverage,
you can use a brush and stipple it on,
but because I'm really trying to reduce the product amount,
it's like a drinking game every time I say
reduce product on your face, take a drink.
This will help that process obviously
because it's picking up a little bit of the product,
but I'm still glowy and I feel a lot more even
in my skin tone.
Okay, we are ready to take off this tint
and to stop looking ridiculous.
I'm gonna start with my lips just because
I want them the least amount tinted.
So obviously the longer you leave the tint on,
the more intense the after is.
So I think it was a little bit longer on my bottom lip
because I was a little more precious with application,
but this is perfect.
I do like a brown tone liner.
You can take the auburn shade.
I think there's like a more ready tone tint.
If you want a little bit more of that warmth,
I'm gonna go onto my eyebrows next.
That's my eyebrows done.
So now having that little bit of tint
at the outer corner here makes all the difference.
I don't have to fill in my brows.
And if I'm going swimming or anything,
I know I can rely on bomb looking brows.
Now a little bit at the outer corner of my eye here.
This one is super faint, like I mentioned at the beginning,
but once you put your mascara on,
it almost creates a shadow
and an extra little flick of lashes
that really elongate the outer corner of your eyes.
Not for everyone, and it's not even a necessary step,
but if you just want a little bit more of an almond shape
and you have round eyes like myself, then you'll like this.
I am going out after this
and it's only 18 degrees out today,
so it's not the hottest day,
but if it was a lot hotter, I'd probably skip this step.
I'm gonna take some concealer
and when I say a very small amount,
a very small amount of concealer, you don't need a lot,
especially if you're gonna bring any base product
right up under your eyes.
That's just adding excess and unnecessary layers of makeup,
especially in such a thin skin area.
So a dot on both sides and you're fine.
You can use your ring finger,
pat that out around your nose, your chin,
and that's all you need.
The next step is traditionally not the next step of makeup,
but because I want to use it more as a tint,
I'm gonna apply it now.
It is the Huda Beauty Lip Blush.
You can obviously wear it as a lipstick,
but it does tint your lips over time,
I think 10, 15 minutes.
So when the outer product wears off or you wipe it off,
you still have a tint on your lips.
So this is gonna look really nice
with the liner tint that we did.
This is a nice, I think it's a peachy shade, Coral Kiss.
So I'm gonna apply this really quickly
and then I'm gonna keep it on for the rest of the video
and then I'll take it off
so then we have a nice little tint of lip at the end.
I'm feeling a tad one-dimensional on my face.
I'm gonna take some cream bronzer.
This is personal preference.
I just think cream in the summertime,
especially a hot, muggy kind of day,
is just a little bit better
because it mimics your skin rather than powder,
which curdle is not the right word,
but I just think cream was made for more heat, hot days,
whereas powder, I would tend to use a little bit more
in the fall and winter.
That is total personal preference.
So if you prefer a powder bronzer, go ahead.
I'm gonna take a very small amount of cream blush.
This is Summer Spice,
one of the new Four More Melted Cream Sticks
launching from Pearl Beauty.
Literally a week, I don't know when this is going live,
a week, maybe tomorrow, June 29th,
is a beautiful, warm terracotta shade.
So I'm gonna use it on that same brush
and just put it at the outer high areas of my cheekbone,
and it's just gonna really bring everything together.
Again, it's a cream product, so I prefer it in the summer,
and it has that beautiful warmth,
so it really ties in the coral color on my lips.
We're almost there.
I'm gonna take a mascara.
If you really love a waterproof mascara,
I don't think I've ever found one that I absolutely adore
just because I find they're not,
they don't make my lashes look the greatest.
So I'm gonna take a tubing mascara,
but any mascara you love that you can rely on
in the heat, definitely use.
The last step I'm gonna do, sorry, the second last step,
is a little bit of translucent powder.
Now this is going to come with me in my makeup bag
because it is incredibly lightweight and non-cakey
so I can reapply throughout the day.
I'm using translucent just because I don't wanna add
any extra coverage with one of the color powders.
This is truly just going to minimize the look of my pores
and reduce the oil.
Now the last step, some setting spray.
If you really, really, really want to
after every base step, you can apply some setting spray
for extra reassurance.
I'm taking the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray
because it's my absolute favorite.
Gone through another full-size bottle here.
I need to repurchase one.
Okay, I've taken off the lip blush.
So now it's just truly a stain, nothing on my fingers.
I'm gonna use a little bit of a tinted lip balm
throughout the day just for hydration
because anything that's a stain
tends to draw out the moisture.
So I'm gonna take the Refi Lip Blush.
It's also called a lip blush,
but it's a very different purpose.
It's more of like a tinted balm.
This is the shade Amber.
Those pair perfectly together.
So you have the stain, the reassurance of color
throughout the day.
But then if you want a little bit of moisture
and a blurring effect,
that is great to keep in your makeup bag.
So hopefully this was helpful.
Obviously it's not a revolutionary makeup tutorial.
It's really just intentionality with certain products
to get longevity out of them
and to try and avoid a sweaty mess
and all of your makeup melting off.
So hopefully this was helpful.
