Tour this $885k New Build Home! Near Dallas, Texas | 4 Bed 3 Bath!

Welcome guys! Today we are looking at this new construction home. Something I love about this neighborhood, it's called Hidden Lakes, but the best thing about this neighborhood is all the trees out here. When I first drove in this neighborhood, it feels like you're living in Colorado, but you're actually 30 minutes away from Dallas, Texas. We are in Midlothian, Texas, right off 35, right off 287. It's a very peaceful community. If you want to show around, we do have a lot of homes on one acre lots here. This one in particular is on 1.61 of an acre, but as you can tell, they're building this home right behind us. They're installing all of the grass, the sprinkler systems, the fence. So these are custom-built homes. They typically take about six to eight months to be built. It looks like that's a white home there. They have some darker colored homes. This was a model home before. They just sold it, and then we had another model home here that also sold. So this is the new model home, which is for sale right now. I want to show you guys. Again, we are on 1.61 of an acre, so lots of space here in the front, lots of space in the back. Follow me inside. I'll show you around. This home is built by Canyon Creek Builder. Again, it takes about six to eight months to build these homes. So you give deposits. Sometimes you buy the lot with a construction loan. There's a lot of different builders in this Midlothian area that build these custom homes. So I know this is like a dream home for a lot of people, live on land, have 3,000 square feet, four beds, three baths. Here we have the exterior. It is brick throughout everywhere, and it is painted. This is like a white color. We have this front little porch here, and this is, it's like a black, I would say black, dark blue color also. We do have a lot of stains throughout the home. Right here, the light fixture. If you guys want to follow me in, this is the dream home for sure. And the price on this one, you guys won't believe, it is going for $885,000 right now. Again, this is for someone that doesn't want to build a home. If you want certain customizations for yourself, you would have to build one. But if you say, hey, I like everything I'm seeing here, you can come and buy it, which is why that model home that they had before sold so quickly. Someone just walked in, especially people from out of state, they see these prices of 885, and they can't believe, because a home like this in their state would easily be about $3 million. So we walk in, immediately to the right, we have our office. We have hand scraped wood floors throughout the entire home. I know on another, our other price points, you have luxury vinyl planks, but this one has your actual wood floors. That's what makes it more luxury. You do have high ceilings here, lots of natural light here with the windows. And we have these French doors here that close off this space. Again, this is an office, so we do have four beds, three baths, office, plus a game room in this home. We have this accent wall here, lots of little light fixtures throughout the home that just give it an extra pop. It is an open concept floor plan. So as you can tell, we have our living room here with our vaulted ceiling. It does have a beam right there in the middle. A lot of people, when they design their home, they like to add extra beams. They do have speakers right here also in the living room. Sometimes you have speakers in your main bedroom, in your kitchen, throughout your home. So this is a true custom. This means that you have to go to the design center usually for about eight hours with your partner and choose everything from the floor to the color of the cabinet. Like every single detail of the home, you get to decide unless you buy this move-in ready, right? Here we have a 10-foot island. It looks like we have the quartz countertop. Again, you're able to come and select what type of sink you want. I know a lot of my clients who've built these homes have chosen like a farm sink. This is a stainless steel. And I've sold many homes in this neighborhood. I know a lot of the people here already, but they love their home. They're so happy. They have family over. Here we have a trash pullout. And then you can tell that these are all soft clothes. So this, again, another thing I see people customize a lot is their cabinetry because everyone has a different way of cooking, right? Some people put their appliances here and hide it behind. Other people put it in the butler's pantry right over here. And then this is like a white oak color mixed with a white on the island. Right now, what's trending is having two colors, two tones of colors in your kitchen. Here we do have a five burner range that is gas. And then we have our hot pan drawers right under here. How do they get gas to these communities? They dig a propane tank underground here. We are on septic. We're not on city sewer. So that's also something that comes with living on an acre and living out here. We do have our whirlpool appliances right here. We have our dishwasher. We have our fridge over there. And then we have our double oven here for those of you who love to cook and invite families for the holidays. And then we also have our microwave built in. We do have upper cabinets here, which depending on if you want them at the design center or not, you're able to add them. Or if not, then your cabinets would cut off right there. And then I really love this back splash. We have under lighting right here as well. So maybe at night, you just come in the kitchen, you leave those lights on and turn off the rest of the lights. You guys want to follow me over here. We do have our butler's pantry. And then we have this actual pantry as well. Some people come in and remodel their pantries later on. But you can just show all the shelves there to store everything. A lot of people complain that pantries are really small. This one has so much space here for you to cook for you to enjoy your kitchen. And then right over here, we do have our dining area, big space, you can probably put it like a six seater, eight seater. Here we have our light fixtures, which again, when you design this home, you go to the to see what light fixtures you want and you add certain ones. Some people put gold light fixtures, these are more of a black mat, but you're able to choose all of that. Let's head to this living room and show you a bit. We do have this 12 foot slider door that opens up to this back patio, I can show you guys here. And then of course, we just have a big spacious vaulted open concept living room. This is your cast stone fireplace. It does have gas. So it does turn on with this button over here, gives off a little bit of heat. I know some people want true fireplaces, but it does shut off there. Then we turn it back on. I love this. It's trending. This is what's in some people put tile all the way up as well. But I really like what they did here. And that would be your fireplace, especially for the winter. It's so cozy to just be here in the living room with your family. And here we have our 12 foot slider. Again, like I mentioned, this is 1.61 acres. Some of these homes are on one acre, some of them are in two acres. It goes all the way to the back where you see that tree line. That is where your property would end. Right here, if you look at the neighbors, they only fenced in part of their home. They didn't fence it in fully, but their property line also backs up all the way back there to the trees. And if you guys want to look at the back of the home, again, brick exterior throughout, black windows, very modern, beautiful farmhouse. There's a lot right next door. It looks like they are going to build on eventually. And then it looks like they're building on the one, two houses down. And again, this builder and two other builders in this community are building. So this is the style of home that you would get. Again, price points, usually about $800. There's some homes in here that cost about $600. There's one home on the corner over there that's about $2 million. So definitely a good area. We do have sprinkler systems throughout. If you look here, the sprinkler head, and that would run. Obviously, every day, your sprinkler system, you would set it up. Some of the people here are starting to put pools right here in their backyard. And usually the pools are anywhere from $100,000 to $200,000. But that's kind of the feel you have in this community. So I'll show you guys the primary bedroom next. And let me know down below, what's your favorite feature in the home? What's your favorite bedroom? I know this is a dream home for a lot of people. And if you're moving from out of state, and you want to look at these options, we have many homes to look at. And if it's not this area, I also have homes, North Dallas or other places. So here we're going to have our mud bench. Here you can store all the backpacks, you can put all the shoes. And then right over here, we do have a three car garage option. So I know a lot of people tell me they have two car garage options, they really want a third. This is the one, two and three. Here we have our irrigation system. This is how you control it. These are the zones. These are where all the sprinkler heads are. So you're able to control right there. We have our electric panel right over here. You can also control your phone to your garage to open it if you want. And then this is just the main shutoff for the home. So you guys want to come back inside. We also have the water heaters usually here to control the home. But let's go back inside and see the primary bedroom. We also have here our laundry room, which opens up to the closet in the primary bedroom. We can look over here again, we have the wood floor throughout. Some people like carpet in the bedrooms, but this builder on this particular plan added the wood floors throughout. And then in the main wet areas, like the restroom, typically you find tile. I really like the lighting coming in here. We have our standalone shower. And then here we have our standup shower. I really like this tile. It's like a green color. I haven't seen this often, but it looks really nice. And I think it really matches with these vanities that are more like a green and like dark blue color. So it'd be his and hers. This is hers, right? Here you can get ready to your makeup. And then that's his vanity. We have this pocket door that leads us to the toilet right there. And then we have just more storage. This would be our closet space. Here you can put all your shoes all the way up, you can put hats, purses. And then we have our rods here to hang the rest of our clothes. So this is a big closet. And then there's more cabinets over here. I really like the way they designed it. You're able to ask for whatever designs you want in your closet. But then it leads us back over here to the laundry room, which again, some people want more storage in here. So they add more closets, or not closets, cabinets, sorry. And just put your washer and dryer right over there. This home is almost 3,000 square feet. So it's definitely a big floor plan. Right on this side, we have three bedrooms plus our game room. We do have our guest bathroom right here. I really love all the customizations. A lot of times we find this hardware online and you can give it to the builder to add for you. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. This is your countertop, your mirror, and then your lights off to the side. And again, here they chose these big tile pieces. And it looks so nice. This is on this side, the handle so that when you enter, you don't get wet, right? Because if you had to go all the way over there to turn on the water, you'd get soaked. So this way we have our game room, which again, depending on if you guys want carpet or wood floors, you can choose that option. This is a game room. Some people could use it as a second office or another bedroom. Just put like a outdoor or like a outside closet. And then we have our other bedroom right over here. And then two more bedrooms on that side. So these do have nice walk-in closets. And it looks like they added some custom shelving throughout this home. So we'll come this way. And then we do have the other two bedrooms here. Most of these are anywhere from like 15 to 17 feet, the bedrooms. And again, they have the nice walk-in closet. And then we have some more storage throughout this home. Again, this floor plan might not be the floor plan that you want or that you like. This builder does have multiple floor plans to choose from. We do have our double vanity here. This is going to be our third restroom, our toilet, and our stand-up shower with the tub there. But I really like the color of the tile here as well. And again, when you go to design a home, it's hard to see what looks good, what doesn't. So as an agent, I advise you on what I've seen. The designer helps you. So we're able to give you advice on your actual design. This is another nice closet space. And that is the grand tour of this home.
