Video Summary
AI GeneratedThis video provides a step-by-step disassembly and upgrade guide for the Acer Nitro V15 featuring an RTX 5070 GPU. It covers the process of removing the bottom panel, identifying internal components, and upgrading the SSD and RAM.
Hey everyone, today we are opening the Acer Nitro V15. The series offers RTX 5050-5070 graphics.
This laptop has the 5070. Find the full review and test on laptopmedia.com. The link is below.
Let's begin. Remove 11 screws and the bottom panel to reach the components.
This battery reset stays unused. We start with the bottom panel screws.
We are using a JIS number one screwdriver. The reset pinhole. We continue removing the screws.
All 11 screws have the same length. Use a thin plastic tool to release the bottom panel clips.
The bottom panel is now removed. First disconnect the battery. It has no screws,
so keep the open laptop flat. This is the laptop's only M.2 SSD slot. Two memory slots sit here.
The Ryzen 7 170 sits beneath the cooling system. This laptop uses an RTX 5070. An extra heat pipe
reinforces cooling above it. The GPU sits close to both fans and the rear heat sinks.
The replaceable MediaTek RZ616 supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. We begin by carefully
disconnecting the battery cable. This 4-cell lithium-ion battery holds 76 watt-hours.
The installed 1TB Kingston NVMe SSD uses PCI Express 4x4. The laptop has only one M.2 2280
slot. This conductive sheet provides EMI and RFI shielding. Reinstall the SSD at a slight angle,
press it down, and secure it. The visible SK Hynix module holds 16 GB. Two SO-DIMM slots
support 32 GB. With DDR5 running, add up to 4800. Reinsert the module at an angle,
then press down until both side clips lock. Place the battery back into its tray and reconnect it.
Since it has no screws, confirm it sits flat before closing the laptop.
That completes the disassembly and upgrade overview of the Acer Nitro V15.
