AI GeneratedA first-person review of the 2026 Bentley Flying Spur Azure, highlighting its new hybrid powertrain, luxurious two-tone interior, and balanced driving dynamics. The vehicle blends high-performance capabilities, such as a 671 hp V8 hybrid engine, with extreme comfort and high-end craftsmanship, positioning it as the ultimate versatile luxury daily driver.
Check this out guys.
Today, I'm going to show you what it's like to drive
the all new 2026 Bentley Flying Spur Azure
from a first person point of view.
Under the hood of the entry-level Flying Spur
and the Azure is a new hybrid powertrain,
a four liter twin turbocharged V8 hybrid
making 671 horsepower, 686 pound feet of torque
and zero to 60 in 3.8 seconds.
That's made it to an eight speed DCT all wheel drive
and get a load of this optional $15,000 Akrapovic exhaust
that sounds absolutely insane.
The Azure trim level gets this waterfall flowing lines
effect on the front grill, which looks fantastic.
We also have more Chrome work for the lower fascia,
which looks really, really expensive.
Of course, we get those traditional crystallized headlights
that we're used to seeing from Bentley.
We have an illuminated Flying Bee mascot.
And if we lock the car,
the Flying Bee mascot will actually go away
and store itself so that nobody can steal it,
which is pretty awesome.
Coming around to the side,
we have those massive 22 inch wheels.
It weighs 5,800 pounds,
but because of its rear axle steering,
the turning radius is much better than expected.
And that actually feels pretty nimble, all things considered.
Let's go ahead and open the rear seat environment
to reveal this gorgeous white and purple two-tone interior.
I love how soft these pillows are, the quilted leather,
everything about the interior of the new Bentleys
are so high end.
That awesome quilted pattern right there on the door,
upgraded name by Bentley speakers that sound,
they're some of the best in the business, bar none.
And of course we have these privacy shades.
Let's hop in the rear.
We have tons of head and leg room.
Of course, we've got our climate controls back here.
We also have these little mirrors
so you can look at yourself and do your makeup
as well as some light controls.
But the real magic is in the front two seats.
Inside of the flying spur now,
and the interior is absolutely gorgeous.
I love the seats.
They're incredibly comfortable and supportive.
The quilted leather, the mix of materials
is just top notch.
I also love that Bentley has this rotating display.
So right now we have analog gauges.
If we click the screen button,
it'll rotate to a digital screen.
And then if we press and hold, it'll rotate again
and everything will disappear seamlessly into the interior.
Gorgeous leather wrapped steering wheel
with paddles mounted behind for the eight speed DCT.
We have a multitude of viewing modes
for the instrument cluster as well.
Coming over here, we've got a ton of hard controls,
which I love.
So for turning on the heated or cooled seats,
you can just click a button, traction control, et cetera.
I love the fact that the air climate vents
are controlled by these little pushers.
That just feels so fancy to put the car into drive.
You use this lever here.
Multitude of driving modes.
We've got sport mode that prioritizes
horsepower and performance, 671.
Bentley mode will give it more of an EV focus
for more comfortable and quiet driving.
Then we've got comfort mode,
full comfort and custom mode, et cetera.
All right, guys, let's see what this thing
is like out on the road.
Behind the wheel of the Bentley Flying Spur Azur now,
and this thing is such a pleasure to drive.
The dual pane windows, all of the insulation,
you are so insulated from the outside environment.
It almost feels like you're in your own cocoon,
separate from the world, no matter how loud it is outside.
Right now we are driving in B mode or Bentley mode,
which is prioritizing the hybrid powertrain
over the internal combustion engine.
And as you can hear, you don't hear anything at all.
It's just serene and silent.
As I mentioned, that EV powertrain
has up to 48 miles of range.
Engine just kicked on.
And with the internal combustion engine,
you've got a range of up to 515 miles.
So you can go absolutely anywhere.
And I love the fact that this air suspension
has such a large bandwidth to it.
So we've flicked it into sport mode now
because we are headed to some canyon roads,
downshift on that eight speed DCT transmission.
And all of a sudden, it's still unbelievably comfortable,
but body roll is lessened.
And you feel like you can actually command this vehicle
around the canyons really well.
And then we've got that optional $15,000
titanium Akrapovic exhaust that at first I went,
why would you spend $15,000 on an exhaust on your Bentley?
And then I heard it and it makes all the sense in the world.
It's got these burbles and just this nice deep growl to it
that is so satisfying.
Now, unlike a Rolls Royce Ghost,
where you wanna be driven in the vehicle,
in the passenger seat or more specifically in the rear,
the Flying Spur is something you actually want to drive
because it's very capable,
especially in speed form with 771 horsepower,
it absolutely rips.
But even with the new entry-level hybrid powertrain
making 671 horsepower,
the last thing I'm thinking while driving this is,
oh man, I wish it had a little bit more horsepower.
It is plenty quick.
And despite being 5,800 pounds,
it slows down and changes directions exceptionally well too.
And I love the fact that the triple rotating display
can go away entirely and show us
these awesome analog gauges.
Oh, well, it almost knew that I wanted to see the screen.
That was interesting.
I have never, I've never witnessed that before,
but it has rotated itself now onto the digital display,
which has good graphics.
I feel like they could be a little bit better,
feels slightly last generation.
But what I like about this car is everything
has a button or a knob
and everything you touch is high quality.
It's not all on the digital displays,
which gets kind of old really, really fast.
So for the climate control vents,
you've got these awesome metallic pushers
that you can push in or out
to increase or decrease the airflow.
You've got a nice mechanical clock here.
And then all of the climate controls and the driving modes
are these hard controls down here,
which are super easy to use.
And I love the fact that
if you want the cooled seats to come on,
you don't have to go through a bunch of menus.
You just click the cooled seats button right here.
Now there's also a shortcut for the massaging seats.
If you reach down on the left side of the driver's side seat
there is a little circular button
and now we've brought up the controls
for the massaging seats.
So it's activated it with one button
and then you can change it on the screen itself
if you want to change the different massage modes.
This thing is just such a joy to drive.
Let's put the screen back to my favorite mode.
The seat is incredibly comfortable.
It doesn't have a ton of support
when you go around corners really fast,
but I don't think I would want
a really aggressive sports seat in a Bentley.
Over long distances,
especially with the massage and the cool feature,
the seat just forms to your back in a way.
I have a very sensitive back.
I have back issues and you could drive this car
for 10 hours straight
without having to worry about back issues whatsoever.
Now let's put it into comfort mode.
That suspension is going to relax a bit.
The steering is a little lighter.
We've got some driver assistance features here
keeping me inside of the lane, which is very nice.
And it just kind of floats around over bumps.
Such a beautiful machine.
I really, really like this.
I've driven a whole bunch of flying Spurs.
So when they came out with a new powertrain
and a slightly updated model,
I told Bentley I really want to get behind the wheel
because it's such a pleasure every time you drive it.
One thing that I find interesting,
Bentley versus Rolls-Royce,
and it kind of seems to reflect the ethos of both cars.
With a Rolls-Royce, the hood is kind of flat
and you can see the massive spirit of ecstasy.
The Bentley feels a little bit more subdued
and classier than that.
The hood curves and you can only see the tippy top
of the little flying bee mascots.
You know, yes, we are in a Bentley,
but don't need to let everyone know.
Although the exterior of this is pretty darn imposing.
I think that's kind of a nice touch.
I love the fact that when you lock it and unlock it,
the Bentley mascot logo goes into the hood.
So it hides away kind of like a Rolls-Royce.
They've also added the logos on the wheels are self-leveling
so that they're always pointed upright.
Well guys, I hope you enjoyed today's video.
Like always, please browse the channel and subscribe.
If you're looking for kind of the ultimate daily driver
and everyday vehicle that you can take to work,
you can drive all the way across the country,
you can go almost 200 miles an hour
and you can rip zero to 60 in under four seconds,
this is the car to get.
And I mean, look at that two-tone leather,
all of the mixes of materials.
It just looks so classy and high-end
without being overly in your face.
All right, guys, see you next video.
