What's up everyone! It is currently 1 in the morning. I already am so tired. I don't even
know how I'm gonna start this video. Hold on. I had to gather my thoughts because it's currently
1 a.m. Everyone in the house is sleeping except me and baby boy Matthew. I'm very very tired.
I'm surviving already at maybe three hours of sleep. I can't even remember. I think yeah
only got three hours of sleep and every single night baby boy has gas which honestly after
doing research 70% of babies have gas at night so I'm usually up all night with him and then
during the day I can't sleep or catch up on sleep because I have my two toddlers so I'm very very
very very very very very tired and I figured I'd go ahead and just show you what it's like for me
in the middle of the night. What you doing? What you doing? You're so cute.
You're so cute. I'm trying to get the baby to love the pacifier. He's not really a fan right now but
hopefully he'll grow to love it. You like the paci? You like the paci? You probably hear my
husband snoring in the background by the way. I'm gonna try to get the baby in the boppy pillow
and then I'm gonna put the tv on which is what I do every night and just try to organize the
room a little bit just to kind of keep myself awake so I have energy for the baby.
Are you comfortable buddy? Are you comfortable? Yeah he's not a fan of the pacis right now.
Whenever I put him down he starts to fuss. Looks like I'm gonna have to pick him up again and just
try to clean with him. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I try to put him down so that I can release my
arms but sometimes it's really good to try the gas technique and I'm gonna actually try it on
the baby right now. He's been passing a lot of gas and then I also gave him mylicon. Here's what
the mylicon looks like. It's really good for babies. They also have gripe water. That's a popular one
but I find that mylicon works a little faster. Like I said he's already been passing a lot of
gas but he's still not fully gasless because he's still kind of fussy and I fed him already on each
of the boobs. Yeah there you go. So being that I'm fully breastfeeding I don't go off of oh every two
hours every three hours I don't go off of that. Whenever he goes like this and lets me know that
he wants to boob I give it to him because honestly breast milk is kind of watered down so the baby's
kind of it passes through the system. I'm gonna try to put him down one more time. Hi baby are
you comfortable? Yes I think you're a little comfortable right? Right buddy man? I finally
got the baby comfortable enough to leave his side for two seconds. I'm gonna try to make my life
easier but I like to organize his clothes this next pair of clothes that he's gonna wear because
like I said he pees or poops after every feeding so sometimes it goes through the
pamper and it goes on his clothing and I have to change his clothes so I am he's gonna wear
this sleeper for next runner up and what I do is I just put it right here on the playpen
which by the way he used to sleep in the playpen in the boppy and both of it you know it being here
but because he wakes up so often now with the gas it just started to I'm gonna say a few nights ago
and just keep them next to me because it's easier for me to you know just grab him burp him feed him
change him. On a typical night I average if it's a good night four hours of sleep but chopped up
never consistent of course so like I'll get an hour then I'll wake up with him and then another
hour then I'll wake up and then usually by six o'clock I'm just like you know what I'm just
gonna stay up so that's usually how my nights go. Baby's fussing already I'm coming I'm coming
okay let me raise that head up I know I know I know I know
that's better that's better okay okay he's very very very very very uncomfortable so I need to
speed up. I'm coming baby I'm coming baby I'm coming baby I just fed the baby and now I'm
burping him and it looks like this is going to be what puts him to sleep for a little bit because
I'm so tired I hope so I hope that sentence made sense when I get tired I just I start talking and
sometimes the sentence is no form y'all. It's currently 11 already I can't believe it and
Troy's awake say hey Troy Troy. Baby boy is asleep and he's bundled up like he's still in the womb.
I didn't continue vlogging throughout the night like I originally wanted to and it's because the
lighting was so poor so I thought never mind but he woke up literally every 30 minutes every time
I try to put him down he'd wake up so I pretty much didn't sleep he was just on my chest and
that was his most relaxed position he was passing gas that way and so I just left him there and I
watched tv so not much really happened and then he would eat every two hours usually feed him burp
him change him I think once I once I did change him into his outfit because he peed through the
other one but it was a pretty rough night I'm tired but um I'm gonna get myself ready for the
day and that should wake me up because I have to get ready for the other babies so at this point
it's where I start my morning routine which is me getting myself ready and then getting the
babies ready for the day surprisingly I feel good this morning so uh we'll attempt to do
the 24 hour challenge where I just show you you know what it's like with three babies but
ah man it was it was a rough night so I say all that to say guys I'm gonna get into my morning
routine which you already have seen probably it's on the main channel I'm gonna get myself ready get
the kids ready get breakfast made all that jazz so I'll see you all in the next video I hope you
enjoyed a glimpse of what it's like taking care of a newborn in the middle of the night but until
next time muah!
