Video Summary
AI GeneratedThe speaker provides a detailed tour of their stay at Savannah Suite in Seminyak, Bali. After upgrading from a small studio to a larger 45-square-meter master suite, they highlight the apartment's amenities, the convenience of the surrounding neighborhood, and the affordability of the long-term rental.
Good morning. In today's vlog I thought I'd take you for a tour around the apartment I'm staying
in Semenyak. Stick around and I'll give you the price at the end. So I'm staying in Savannah Suite
located in Nakula in Semenyak. I'll start out the front of the place where I'm staying.
Out the front they've got ample parking for motorcycles. So this is my motorbike here
guys. This is the Fazio that I've rented. I've rented this for the whole time I'm here.
Absolutely love this bike. Mainly for the reason of the colour. It's very easy to spot when you're
in a parking lot of hundreds and hundreds of bikes. So very easy to find. I did have to go
and purchase this as an add-on extra, a mobile phone holder. So I can actually, when I'm riding
for Google Maps, like that I can lock my phone in place and then it's got a lock in the back too as
well. And then easy to open up and take out. But it's a great little bike. You've got storage under
the seat as well that I can store any gear, backpack or helmet inside. Easy to travel around
Bali with the scooter that's for sure. So moving inside guys. I'm just on the left here. We've got
a helmet rack so you can store your helmets. Into the lobby area we've got nice lounge chairs,
comfortable seating. Say hello to the workers. Say hello to the vlog. Hello. Now this place has
shared kitchen that everybody can share. Just pop in and have a look. We've got a fridge. You've got
plenty of cutlery stored in the cupboard there. Plenty of utensils around. Cooking stove facilities.
You can add your own condiments. And yeah plenty of access around and some nice seating outside.
So on nights if you want to cook inside you're more than welcome to cook. Moving to the pool
area. You've got some outdoor seating. A couple of sun loungers down one end and three down the other
end. Really love this pool. It can be used anytime during the day. It's got shade on one side so all
these trees here do carry over half the pool in shade so you're not out in the full sun.
In terms of accommodations, Savannah suite I think has 21 rooms. When I first moved in guys this was
my apartment room 101. It was a studio apartment. I think probably about 20 square meters in size.
It wasn't very big but it was very clean and comfortable. Had a king-size bed inside
but what I didn't like about it unfortunately it didn't have a lounge and for a long-term stay I
really did want some comfort. So I did ask the guys at the reception whether there was any other
rooms available and they kindly showed me another room and I took it within a heartbeat. The room
that I'm staying in is upstairs so you do have three sets of stairs that you do have to go up.
So just keep that in mind if you do want to stay in a room like where I'm staying. So let's go check
out the room. Welcome to my apartment, the master suite. So we'll start off in the kitchen area. What
I do like about this apartment is that there is actually a divider. This part of the wall here
it does divide from the bedroom. Nice open kitchen area. I've got a fridge, microwave,
kitchen sink area. They give you a kettle but I did have to go and buy a toaster
and I purchased these water jugs here. These are about eight dollars each.
You've got table and chair that you can eat on. You can extend this table out if you want a larger
table. Moving into the bedroom area. This is actually two single beds put together. Not my
preferred choice. I would prefer just one large king bed but I do believe they can make this room
into a family room as well. It does come with a couch too which is nice and comfortable to sit on
and watch tv. You've got powerpoints right next to the bed which is helpful to charge your devices
with. In the corner of the room a little workbench area that I can do some editing on. Nice large tv
to watch tv and tv shows, movies. I have connected my fire stick to it. Just tip for reference if you
are traveling do bring an extension lead because there is no powerpoints anywhere in this corner
here. So I've actually had to run an extension lead into the bathroom to be able to power the
fire stick. We move into the bathroom. A large vanity area, toilet and a very large shower
actually with a rain shower in there as well. So what's really nice about this is it is fully
enclosed shower screen and shower door. Traveling a lot through Asia I think I am going to experience
a lot of times where there is no shower screen or only a partial screen from inside the bathroom.
Plenty of storage area. I do get a safe as well so I can store my passport and valuable items.
Coming back out into the living area I do have a large window that does overlook the pool
and you can somewhat get a nice view of Seminyak. This apartment guys is about 45 square meters so
it is a large comfortable size. Let's go check out what's in the neighborhood. A short 50 meter
walk from Savannah Suites there is street food available. So there's some local Wurrungs nearby
just down the street and there's also an Alphamart. This little cart here has breakfast, has lunch, dinner.
Here you can get some fried chicken. So this is the Alphamart nearby. Has all the essentials,
everything you need. So in summary I'm really enjoying my stay here in Seminyak. It's lovely
accommodation. Very comfortable. It's very quiet at night time. Peaceful. It's clean. It's tidy.
They service the rooms immaculately. Really comfortable long-term living. What I do like
about this place is the area as I said earlier there's local Wurrungs, restaurants, supermarkets
all easily accessible by foot. Now if you do want to head down to the beach it's probably about a 15
minute walk to the beach or three to five minutes on a scooter so very accessible too. So what is
it actually costing me for my stay here? I'm paying 36 Australian dollars per night to stay here.
That's inclusive of all electricity, all water and room cleaning as required. 36 Australian dollars
per night. If you think that's a good deal let me know in the comments down below.
Otherwise I'll catch you on the next one.
