Video Summary
AI GeneratedThe creator showcases their mobile work-from-home setup, focusing on the addition of an Arzopa 16.1-inch portable monitor to complement their Zephyrus G14 laptop. The goal is to maintain a lightweight, portable kit while achieving the multi-screen productivity typically found with an ultrawide monitor.
What's up guys, long time no see. I'm back with a new video to showcase my mobile work
from home setup. As someone who has worked remotely since 2017, my backpack is filled
with various devices to help me and my workflow. What's also important to me is that my backpack
is lightweight, so that if I'm walking around the city it isn't too heavy, so I just keep
the necessities. Don't forget to hit that like button to help the YouTube algorithm.
Now there was one issue with my workflow. The Zephyrus G14 and it's 14 inch monitor was too
small. I usually need two screens side by side and the only other place I could do that with
was with an ultrawide monitor. Luckily Arzopa sent me this portable 1080p monitor. This is
16 inches diagonal and it's 1080p. I really like this lightweight and sleek design and it's perfect
for traveling. I just need to buy a hardshell case to protect it before I put it in my backpack.
So for a portable monitor, this has all the minimum specs that you need. It has 100%
sRGB color accuracy, 300 nits of brightness, and is a 16.1 size form factor. Not to mention it's
also IPS so ideally IPS is what you need as far as price to performance. So I really love that
it does come with the required cables that you need to get set up. It comes with one USB-C cord,
one USB-A, an HDMI to a mini HDMI, and all these can really just get you set up right away.
So here is my default setup where I do have the portable monitor in landscape orientation.
Now this helps when I need to have two different windows side by side and that really helps when
you need to go back and forth between two documents. That's the main purpose of having
this for my work setup. This is only a 60 hertz refresh rate monitor so not the best for gaming
since I already have, I just use the laptop screen for gaming. I believe the Zephyrus G14 has 165
hertz and it has G-Sync so I didn't really need it for gaming, I just mainly use it for productivity.
Zephyrus G14 is 500 nits and it's at full brightness and the Arzopa monitor is at 300
nits so you can't really tell too much of a difference but I believe the Zephyrus G14
does have a higher color accuracy at about 130 percent sRGB. Now here is the other orientation
where you can put it in portrait mode with the kickstand still usable and I really like this
orientation because technically speaking you can have three windows open at the same time.
As someone who likes to trade, as someone who needs multiple documents open this is super usable
and very very helpful especially also if I'm you know consuming content maybe I might be gaming
and I need another video open so this is just another way to get the best use out of this
monitor. For reference I'm coming from using an ultra wide monitor. An ultra wide monitor I can
already split two windows side by side so I'm used to that. This is just a really really awesome
portable way to get something set up if you're away from home and also you know it's good maybe
you have some kids who want to watch a movie in a different screen so these are just different
ways you can use the monitor and I was also thinking maybe you can put this up like in
another room as just somewhere you can hang it and just connect it to a mini pc and have like
a little tiny movie room so definitely a lot of different ways you can use this monitor and it's
a really good price. On Amazon you can get it for around 80 bucks. 80 bucks for something that you
will use to consume content and potentially use for work would be an awesome buy in my opinion.
It's really nice to see these types of monitors. Thank you to Arzopa to sending it out. I've always
wanted to buy one honestly personally to kind of just have it just in case I need to use it and
it's very very usable. I definitely started using it for my workflow so keep an eye out for
other reviews. I do recommend I know that they have more expensive gaming panels that are portable
too. You can check those out. I'll try to link the ones that I recommend
but I hope you guys like this video. Have a nice day.
