Mini Samgyetang Cooked in an Iron Pot

Hello, this is Mini Forest.

To celebrate Malbok, the last of Korea’s three hottest summer days, I made a miniature samgyetang using ‘우리맛닭’ chicken.

‘우리맛닭’ is a meat-type chicken developed by the National Institute of Animal Science under Korea’s Rural Development Administration. It was bred using selected Korean native chicken lines known for their excellent meat quality, egg-laying ability, and growth rate.

It retains the distinctive taste and characteristics of Korean native chicken while offering improved growth and productivity.
