Hey guys my name is Rachel. I found out I was pregnant at the age of 22 years old with my baby boy Troy. After graduating I decided to become a stay at home mom while capturing all of the moments of watching little man grow. When Troy was 5 months I ended up getting pregnant with my little girl Aria! and now the family is complete! join our journey:)
I HAVE A MAIN CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/user/raccel077
EJ'S Vlogs too: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyI2...
So I'm boiling this ham steak that I got, hoping it turns out right.
I never made a ham before, but I'm trying to make like a honey baked ham style ham steak.
Anyways, Doody calls!
Doody calls!
Hi pretty girl!
You're so unhappy.
Aww.
You giving sissy kissies?
Alright, let me get her.
Bless you to a Choy.
Choy loves when he's on the floor.
And then when it's time to have it in his mouth, he's like going frantic.
But I think she's getting happy now because her brother's here to cheer her up.
You're here to cheer her up?
Spit up alert, spit up alert.
I think she's better now.
So I decided I'm going to attempt to do vlogmas again.
Now I attempted last year for my first year.
And not even halfway through, I decided I couldn't do it.
I couldn't keep up with it.
So I think what I'm going to do now is I'm going to pre-film some videos.
And the days that I'm not putting up a vlog, I'll just have a pre-filmed sit down type of video up.
So I'm going to try to make all the sit down videos Christmas related.
But yeah, that's exactly what mama's going to do, right?
I'm starting to smell poop.
I think Troy had a little accident.
So I'm going to sit here with her for about a good minute before I get up again to change Troy.
Right?
Does brother stink?
Does brother stinky?
It's perfect.
And you know what you got to do in a blanket fort, don't you?
What?
Have snacks, of course.
Building a blanket fort really makes me work up an appetite.
Like I always say, when you're hungry as a horse, get up and eat.
We have one baby clean.
I just washed my hands because I have to pick up the next baby.
And usually she doesn't whine or anything really.
She just sleeps.
We do a little play time.
I'm going to lower down that fire.
But yeah, usually she never ever whines.
So I'm pretty surprised.
Let me go ahead and get her up.
So I think she just wanted to be held.
Wow, this is just so unusual because she never ever whines or cries.
I mean, she does, but usually for food only.
And I recently fed her.
So maybe she just wants food for comfort.
I'm probably going to go ahead and try.
I'm probably just going to go ahead and put it in her mouth and see.
Maybe she wants a little more food because I don't know.
That could be the case.
But I just lowered the stove to make sure everything's looking good.
I hope all the salt or most of the salt is out of that ham.
Because, yeah, it's super, super salty.
And I'm going to go ahead and try to work on it.
Oh, hi, Choi Choi.
What's the matter?
Look at him, look at him.
I want to go outside today.
That's what Choi's saying in his head.
At a time like this, I really wish I had a baby carrier.
Yes!
Woo!
I wish I had a baby carrier because I'm trying to get things done, you guys.
I'm hungry.
I need to clean up.
It's a little messy.
Well, it's not that messy.
But let me show you one of my pet peeves about my house.
It's this couch.
Not the couch.
It's this rug.
It's always folding.
And, yeah, I really want to take care of that right now.
So I'm going to wait, though.
I mean, like I have a choice.
But Choi's over here.
Choi, what you doing?
Once she's relaxed and she's in her swing,
I think me and Choi are going to go outside and go for a little walk.
That's our favorite thing to do together.
It's always going on outdoor adventures.
So I think by then Choi, not Choi,
EJ will be on his little break and then I can spend time with Choi outside
so he can let out some energy.
He didn't go outside yesterday.
So I definitely want to take him today because usually he goes out two times a day at least.
I try to, like, keep him outside, keep him active, keep him busy.
So hopefully we can make that happen on time.
Right, Aria?
Aw, she is just not happy.
She wants me to stand up with her.
Look who's happy.
Finally, Aria.
So I think she just wanted her pacifier.
She did not want any milk.
So, I mean, I kind of figured, but I still tried it anyway.
You okay?
So, once she falls asleep.
Relax, baby, okay? Relax.
That is Choi having his first tantrum of the day.
I found this recipe for the ham steak.
It's called brown sugar ham steak.
But I have some of the ingredients.
I only have the brown sugar and the cloves.
You need Dijon mustard and pineapple juice.
I feel like pineapple juice is, like, the main thing and I don't have it.
And I don't have Dijon mustard.
I have just classic yellow mustard.
Oh, man.
I don't know if this is going to work, but I'm going to try it out anyways because I already boiled it.
So I have no choice but to cook it right now.
And hopefully it tastes good.
Otherwise, I'll improvise and, like, add my own little thing.
But we're going to try to go off the recipe first.
This is how it looks.
And I know it may look a little nasty, but trust me, it smells really good.
I used orange juice as a replacement.
And I used just regular mustard as a replacement just a little bit.
Hoping it comes out the way it's supposed to come out.
Okay, let me go ahead and do what I got to do so I can stick it in the oven really fast.
House break.
EJ's so awkward sometimes.
I'm like, EJ, do you want to be on camera?
He just smiles.
Oh, you knocked my phone out.
That's all you care about, the electronics?
Yeah.
No, no.
No.
Almost died.
Almost died about your phone?
Mm-hmm.
I hope this ham tastes good.
That's my concern right now.
She is awake.
It's Aria baby.
Hi, Aria baby.
Hi.
Are you awake already?
Did you wake up from that nap already?
You guys, my house is smelling so good with that cloves.
My goodness, it's starting to smell a little like Christmas, which, you know, isn't a bad thing.
And I know I haven't mentioned this in a while, but remember when I was obsessed with Very Dice,
where, you know, you roll the dice, and then you redeem tickets, and then when you get to a certain point,
you can buy certain things that you would like?
Well, I finally redeemed my first item, and I wanted to share it with you guys.
I got a set of cleaning products, and it is the Myers Clean Day, Mrs. Myers Clean Day cleaning products.
So I've seen some mommas talk about it on YouTube.
I know you can get it at Target, and so I was eligible to buy it with my points
because I had our tickets.
I had 6,000, and I got a full set, and it is amazing.
It's actually my favorite cleaning line right now, which I didn't expect to like it as much as I did,
but, yeah, it's really nice because there's not a lot of bad chemicals in there,
and it smells like lemon.
It makes your house feel cleaner, and I love it.
They have a cinnamon-scented one.
They don't have it on the Very Dice app, but they do have it in-store,
so I think I'm going to go ahead and get it next because, yeah, my house smells so good,
so lemony, and, yeah, I really enjoy it.
So I just wanted to bring that up.
I do have my Very Dice friend code, which I'll leave,
and what you do is if you use my code, you'll get more rolls,
and then I get more rolls too, so it's kind of like helping each other out deal.
So, you know, that's pretty much that, but it is 2.13 already.
Where has time gone?
I already cleaned up downstairs.
It was really clean for the most part, but I finished the dishes.
I cleaned, you know, the microwave.
I cleaned the fridge.
I cleaned, excuse me, like the counters and everything,
so the only thing that I have to do is vacuum,
and I'm going to do it probably when EJ's officially off of work.
I'll vacuum so he can help me move the rug and center it,
and Troy's upstairs playing with my mom, just in case you guys were wondering.
So he's over there or upstairs playing with her for a little bit,
and she's trying to wear him out because, I don't know, he wants to go outside,
but it's really, really hot, so she's trying to wear him out to kind of make up for going outside,
at least right now.
I'm going to take him out a little later, but it's so hot outside right now that I can't do it.
Are you admiring the Christmas tree?
Uh-oh.
No touchy.
Let's move it a little more.
How about we move it a little this way?
Troy, stop having tensions today.
It's too early.
This is how the ham looks.
I think it looks pretty tasty.
Uh-oh.
Baby girl's crying for mama.
She's probably hungry now,
but I also wanted to mention I threw in some macadamia nut cookies in the oven because it was on.
It was already hot, and I figured why not utilize it and kill two birds with one stone.
So we've got macadamia nut cookies warming up.
Troy's about to take his nap.
He needs one.
You're about to eat.
You need food.
Cookies.
I've got Troy some milk,
and the cookies are bonito.
They taste and look delicious.
Here's the cookies,
and again, here's the ham.
I'm going to eat the ham with some leftover Thanksgiving sides.
Yeah, we still have stuff, y'all.
We ran out of everything aside from the rice my mom made and green beans,
and I think yams, so I'm going to eat it with probably just rice and call it a day.
I'm not really that hungry, but I'm just going to eat a little bit.
Hopefully, Troy falls asleep soon.
He's fighting it,
and now Aria thinks she wants to be held.
Do you want to be held, pretty girl?
Let me see.
You want this?
Okay.
3.15, Troy is still wide awake.
He is fighting his sleep, and I'm just going to let him.
I'm not going to try to force him to sleep.
When he's ready, he will,
but I'm going to go ahead and end the vlog
because, honestly, I'm really, really tired.
I just ate, and I think from all that cleaning,
I'm just a little exhausted right now.
I will see you guys in my next video.
I'm getting excited for Vlogmas.
I'm going to attempt it.
I'm hoping I succeed, but I don't know.
We'll see.
I'll see you guys in my next video.
Say bye, Aria.
Bye.
Troy's here.
Say bye, Troy-Troy.
Bye.
